Welcome to part 7 of our walkthrough for Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. This walkthrough will cover the stage, Mad Train, and offer a guided experience through the level.

Freight Cars
After the intro cutscene, start heading right. You’ll run into a group of enemies up ahead. Defeat them and keep moving forward.
Jump into the next train car and continue running past the enemies.
Up ahead, you’ll spot a Yokai Floor. Break through it to loot a small chest containing a health pickup.
Keep heading right and take down the enemies as you go.
Eventually, you’ll run into the first Elite Squad encounter just past a sniper enemy. Clear the challenge, then continue moving right.
Jump over the crates, defeat the two enemies blocking your way, and keep progressing forward until you activate the next Shrine.
Aircraft Carrier
From the Shrine, continue heading right. On the next cart over, you’ll spot a Yokai Floor. Break through it to find the Shop.
Jump back up and keep moving right, dealing with the exploding bots along the way.
You’ll eventually reach a long cart with two explosive barrels on top. An ambush will trigger here. Defeat the enemies to progress further.
Past the ambush, you’ll spot another Yokai Floor. Break through it to find a chest containing an Oboro Relic.
Keep heading right, fighting through more enemies, until you spot a train compartment after a few carts. Jump on top of it and keep moving right to reach the next section.
Convoy
You’ll find the Convoy Shrine on your right as soon as you drop down from the other side of the train compartment. Activate the Shrine and continue moving forward.
You’ll arrive at a large train platform with several explosive crates. Clear out the enemies in this area.
The next train compartment has a sniper positioned on top. Run up the side to take him down.
Break the Yokai Barrier to drop inside. There are two enemies here and two switches on either side that unlock the doors to the compartment. Exit through the right door and continue onward.
The next cart contains another Elite Squad Encounter.
Defeat the elite flying drone after this section, then jump onto the next train compartment to the right.
Break through the Yokai Floor here to find a Shop and two switches that unlock the doors on either side.
Jump through the open door into the next compartment to trigger an ambush. Defeat all enemies to earn a Secret Chest.
Afterward, climb back up through the left door to the top of the compartment. Destroy the turret and take down the ninja, then drop down on the right side to reach the next Shrine.
Arachno Tank Carrier
From the Shrine, continue heading right.
You’ll soon be ambushed by an Arachno Tank mini-boss. This fight plays out just like the Arachno Tank boss you faced earlier.
Break the Yokai Armor using Cannon Punch, then keep attacking until it goes down.
Defeating the mini-boss rewards you with the Shield Amulet.
Continue moving forward past the boss. Jump over the train compartment up ahead and defeat the enemies.
Jump over to the yellow compartment on the right. Clear out the enemies inside.
Stick to the rooftops of the compartments and keep heading right until you drop down and reach the next section.
Armored Cars
After the short cutscene, run to the right to find the next Shrine.
Enter the compartment through the open door and defeat the enemies inside.
Continue heading right until a chase sequence begins.
Keep running to the right until you come across a group of enemies. The plane will stop chasing you at this point. Defeat the enemies and move on.
Once you get past the next train compartment after defeating the enemies, you’ll find the next Shrine.
Command Car
As soon as you take a few steps from the Shrine, the chase sequenece restarts.
Ignore the enemies that appear next and focus on running forward.
Eventually, you’ll reach the front of the train. Watch the cutscene, and the stage will clear after that.
