Navigating Dark Shrine Final Area
Collecting Items at Hinako’s Doll Shrine

Once the cutscene ends, follow the path ahead and keep going through the Torir Gates. Do note that, in the Dark Shrine Path chapter, the area was the same. So go ahead, and to your left will be the same shrine with Hinako‘s doll sitting on the front. Pick up a bandage, a crowbar, and a yokan from there.

Fighting Through Blue Flame Encounters
After that, head down the path to the right, go up the wooden bridge, and pass through the torii gate. As you do, blue flames will instantly engulf the area, and a couple of enemies will attack you. Defeat them and grab the items placed right beside the Inari Statue.

Then, open the door and follow the path ahead. Eventually, you will come across a cocoon, so attack it. As you do, the area will once again be covered with the blue flames. Defeat the enemies again and then keep following the pathway ahead (there are some health items on the ground, make sure to pick them up).

Then, open the Scared Door (this setting is from the Dark Shrine Corridors chapter).
Preparing for the Final Boss Battle
After opening the door, you will see some items and a shrine. Make the necessary preparations and then open the door ahead. Keep following the pathway, and you will come across another door. Open it, and there will be some more items for you to take.
There will also be a Kitchen Knife and an Axe, both of which are pretty useful items. Make sure to explore the area to get everything you need before opening the final door.
Defeating Shiromuku – Final Boss Guide

Shiromuku Attack Patterns and Countermeasures
| Attack Name | Description & Phases | How to Counter |
| Three Hit Combo | The boss usually starts the fight with a three-hit combo. This attack is upgraded in the other phases. | Simply dodge the first hit inside and then move ahead. This way, the boss will miss the second hit, giving you enough time to dodge the third. |
| Charged Strike | Shiromuko charges her Fox Arm and moves across the area. This attack gets upgraded in the third phase. | Dodge when you see the boss bringing her arm down. |
| Bloody AoE | The boss will spawn an AoE attack under you. If you are hit by it, the roots will hold you in place for a moment. | Dodge away as soon as you notice the AoE under you. |
| Immense Flower AoE | Shiromuko kneels and grows flowers all over the area. She will charge this attack for a long time. | You can’t dodge this attack, so just keep on attacking the boss. However, if you don’t want to die, make sure you are at full health, as even when Shiromuko is charging the attack, you will be damaged. |
| Twin Arm Chain Attack | Shiromuko will attack you using both her hands four times. | Dodge the initial three hits, and when Shiromuko goes for the fourth hit, she will glow, meaning you can counterattack. |
| Jumping Slash Attack | The boss will jump toward you from a distance and hit you with both her hands. | Dodge as soon as you see the blood on screen, |
| Grab Attack | Shiromuko will grab you, and this move is deceptively fast. | When you see the boss reach behind her back, dodge to the right. |
Shiromuku Phase One Strategy

Once you are ready, open the door, and a cutscene will commence. Once the cutscene ends, open the final door, and another cutscene will be triggered. After that, you will have to face the final boss, Shiromuko.

Three-Hit Combo and Counter Opportunities
If you understand this boss’s patterns, then the fight won’t be difficult for you. Shiromuko will start the fight by striking you with her fangs five times. The fourth time, she will glow red before striking you, meaning that it is an opportunity for a counter. Press R2, and you will have an opening to deal some damage.
Dealing Damage During Stun Windows
She recovers quickly, so make sure not to get too greedy. Also, when you have dealt enough damage, the boss will be stunned for a bit. Dealing enough damage to stun her won’t take long. When that happens, make sure to capitalize on it and deal as much damage as possible.
Shiromuku Phase Two Strategy
Avoiding Bloody AoE Attacks

Once she gets up, she will have some new attacks. Shiromuko will perform an AoE attack where you are standing, so make sure to dodge or get out in time.
Managing Trail Attack Patterns
Also, her every attack will now leave a trail behind, so the dodge will get a little stricter. Keep damaging her, and she will fall again (this won’t take too long).
Shiromuku Phase Three Strategy
Surviving the Immense Flower AoE

Once Shiromuko gets up, she will do a massive AoE (she will also have another Fox Arm). To put it simply, this move can’t be dodged, so don’t waste your time running; approach the boss instead.
She will charge this attack for a while, so make sure to do as much damage as possible and then brace for an impact. You can’t dodge this attack, and running away won’t help you, so just approach the boss and start attacking.

Countering Jumping Slash and Grab Attacks
After taking the impact, heal and wait for the boss to approach you. It will most likely to a jumping slash attack, which is pretty easy to dodge. However, do note that in this phase, more moves are added to her chain attacks. She can also leap away instantly to prevent getting hit by you.
Regeneration and Red Capsules Upon Death
Even if you die during this boss fight, there is no need to worry. Eventually, you will get regeneration and 99 red capsules (only if you die). Keep damaging the boss, and in a while, she will go down. After that, a cutscene will start, and now, your aim will be to escape from the Dark Shrine.
Escaping From The Dark Shrine
Running Through Enemy Areas

There will be some enemies around, but you don’t have to fight any of them. Start running, and you will be teleported to a different area.
Following the Red Capsule Trail
Hinako is now hallucinating, so no matter where you are, keep following the path. The Red Capsules on the ground form a trail for you to know you are going in the right direction.

Reaching the Red Light Exit
Eventually, you will reach an area where a red light from far away will be visible. As you approach the light, it will feel more distant, but as you make progress, you will reach it. Once you get close enough, a cutscene will start, and with this, Silent Hill f, Chapter 13, Dark Shrine Final Path, concludes.
It was really fun for me to cover all of the chapters, but now the journey has come to an end. Hopefully, you found my walkthroughs helpful, and if you want to ask me anything, feel free to comment below.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I beat Shiromuku without dying?
Focus on dodging inside her initial three-hit combo by moving forward after the first strike. During Phase Three’s Immense Flower AoE, keep attacking her rather than running away – just ensure you’re at full health beforehand since you’ll take continuous damage. Watch for the red glow indicating counterattack opportunities and press R2 for maximum damage windows.
What’s the best strategy for Shiromuku’s Bloody AoE attack?
The Bloody AoE appears directly under Hinako‘s position and will root you in place if caught. Dodge away immediately when you see the bloody patch forming beneath you. This attack becomes more frequent in Phase Two and Phase Three, so stay mobile and watch the ground.
Where are the healing items in the final boss area?
Before entering the final boss room, check the shrine area for bandages and other healing items. The preparation room right before Shiromuku contains additional supplies. Stock up here as it’s your last chance before the fight begins.
Can you skip the final boss fight?
No, the Shiromuku boss fight is mandatory to complete Silent Hill f. However, if you die multiple times, the game provides regeneration and 99 red capsules to help you progress, making subsequent attempts easier.
What happens if you die during the Shiromuku fight?
If you die during the boss fight, you’ll respawn and eventually receive regeneration abilities and 99 red capsules to assist with the battle. The boss maintains the same attack patterns, so learning the phase transitions helps even after death.
