By now, you may already have an idea about how weird Silent Hill f actually is. Even when trying to make sense, it may be hard to put the pieces together, as with each chapter, we are getting fewer answers, and the mysteries keep piling up. That said, there are still plenty of chapters left, so it will make sense (hopefully :p). For more information regarding the game, head over to its Steam Page.
Having completed Chapter Six, Ebisugaoka Middle School, you will find yourself in the Dark Shine area once again. As usual, it is going to be tricky, so I will provide you with a thorough walkthrough on how to complete Silent Hill f Chapter Seven, Dark Shrine Worship Hall.
Table of contents
Find A Way To Unlock The Sacred Door

Your first objective is to proceed down the path, so simply follow Fox Mask. He will go through the Sacred Door, and then it will be locked. Upon entering the room, you may notice doors to the east and west. At the front, you will notice two Inari statues. Interact with the one on the left to unlock the adjacent door.
Exploring The Left Area

Go through that door, and then you will have to explore the area. Do note that, as you are in the Dark Shrine area again, you will be able to use your Naginata. Now, follow the pathway, and eventually you will reach a shrine. Save your progress or anything else you want to do, and then head opposite the shrine.
First Object Location – Rightward Facing Fox Crest

You will need to find three objects that fit into the device. You may have also noticed two more statues right and left of the shrine. Interact with the left one (it will open a door right at the beginning of the path) and then continue following the path. To your left, you will find a narrow gap. Go through the gap and take a right, but be cautious, as an enemy will be waiting to ambush you. Defeat the enemy, follow the path, obtain the First Aid Kit, and go back.

Once you are back, you will notice a way to your left before entering the room with the device and shrine. Go inside, take the first right, and open the sliding door at the end. You are now inside Rinko’s room, so approach the lamp at the top left. Interact with it, and each light will turn red.

Then, interact with the dolls around it, and they will turn, revealing a creepy and horrifying sight. There will also be a doll west of the lamp (not the one right next to it), so go ahead and interact with it. After interacting with it, you will get the Rightward Facing Fox Crest.

Now, go out of Rinko’s room and head back to the device. However, be overly cautious as an enemy is waiting for you. It will perform a grab attack, which takes out a chunk of health, so make sure to perform a dodge. After defeating the enemy, insert the object into the device and go back to the path you took to reach Rinko’s room.
Second Object Location – Forward-facing Fox Crest

This time, don’t take a left; instead, keep following the path ahead of you. In a little while, you will come across a room. Enter it, but be careful, as an enemy will jump at you. Dodge the surprise attack, and in front of you is another lever machine. The color on it by default would be green, so make sure to interact with it.
Then, go out of the room, keep following the pathway, and take a left at the end. Take another left, and up ahead, you will notice a red symbol (very similar to Sharingan). Go ahead and take a left. There will be a very annoying enemy, so don’t even think of fighting it in the narrow corridor.
Back To The Middle School

Instead, lure the enemy out and then defeat it, and then follow the narrow corridor. Before going to the right, grab Dried Carcass from the front. Then, go back and take a left and open the door right in front of you. You are inside your middle school again, in the room with the creepy doll. Pick up the Class Observation Log right next to the skeleton and then interact with the lamp.

Upon interaction with it, all light will turn red, and in the middle, a desk will appear. Approach the desk from the other side and interact with it. Upon interaction with it, you will find the Forward-facing Fox Crest. However, as soon as you get it, you will be attacked instantly. There will be two enemies in the room, but you have a Naginata.
Use a charge attack to stun them and then take out one with a string of light attacks. Defeat the other enemy, exit the room, and insert the object into the device (you don’t have to fight the enemies, as just exiting would block their path :p).
Third Object Location – Leftward-Facing Fox Crest

After inserting another object into the device, approach the statue with the lever at the right and interact with it. After interacting, it should turn blue, so follow the path behind you and then head inside the new door that has just been opened (it will have the same blue symbol on the top).

There will be an enemy just ahead, so defeat it, follow the path, and when the red light area ends, take a left from there. Then take a right, go up the stairs, and head west. Ahead of you will be another room where you will find the last object.

Enter the room, and just ahead, you will find a letter from Rinko. Explore the Chizuruya General Store to get some items and then interact with the blue light. As soon as the lights turn red, a Shackled Monster will appear right next to you, so make sure to dodge its attack.

After that, if it does a chain attack, back away and wait for the final hit. The final hit will be delayed and will show a red light, so press R2 instantly to stun it. Then follow up with some light attacks. After defeating the monster, you can find the last object, Leftward-Facing Fox Crest, behind a bloody pink candy jar on the left side of the general store. Pick it up, go back, and then insert it into the device.

After that, a cutscene will commence, and then, you will have to return to the grand hall. Do so, and insert The Tri Scale Emblem Key into the left Inari statue. The first layer of the Sacred Door will open. Now, interact with the Inari statue on the right and enter the gate to the east.
Exploring The Right Area

Follow the path ahead, and you will reach a room. In front of you will be Sakuko’s Parent-Teacher Journal; grab it and then go left. In a drawer to your right, there will be a Yokan, and on the left will be the same lever as before. Turn it blue, and an enemy will appear from the unlocked gate.
However, as the room contains an evil-warding lantern, the enemies defeated here will be unable to reanimate. So defeat the enemy and then follow the path ahead. You will then find another lever; interact with it to unlock the door right behind you. Go through that door and take a U-turn.

Enter the room right in front of you, and on the right will be another lever along with an enemy. Defeat the enemy, grab some items from the room, and then interact with the lever to turn the symbol green. A Shackled Monster will emerge from a room; defeat it.
Now, enter the room, go left, and take another left. This is where you start, but don’t worry, interact with the lever again, and then follow the same steps. Exit the second room, and the door right in front would now be unlocked. There will be another monster; lure it to the blue light and then defeat it.
How To Find The Right Path

After that, follow the straight path ahead and then take a right. To your east will be a place you crawl through. Go there and grab a Bandage and Pages from an Observation Log. A monster will appear in the room, so defeat it and then interact with the lever.
Then, head opposite to the lever, and you will come across a Shackled Monster once again. Defeat it and then follow the path ahead. A monster will ambush you from the left, so defeat it and enter the room ahead. Then, head left, and there will be yet another monster. Beware, it will do a leaping grab attack, so dodge in time and defeat it, too (make sure to lure the enemy into the room with blue light).

After entering the room, interact with the objects on the right and then grab Sakuko’s diary right next to it. There is also a shrine, so make sure to save your progress. Then, interact with the lever, and the door right next to the shrine will open. There will be a couple of enemies, so lure them into the room. After defeating them, enter the room.
Grab the bandage in front of you, then take a left and enter the room to the west.
Obtain The Key In Front Of The Cage

After entering the room, you will have to complete a puzzle. Figuring out what to do can be tricky here, so I will straight up tell you what to do.
- Story Difficulty: Go over to the statues on the right and then turn the Fox and Rabbit sculptures toward each other. For the statues on the left, do the same.
- Hard Difficulty: Go over to the statues on the right and then turn the Fox and Rabbit sculptures away from each other. For the statues on the left, do the same.

After solving the puzzle, pick up both the lampshades from the cages. Then, go ahead and cover both lamps with the shades. Once you are done interacting with the key right ahead of you and a cutscene will start.
After the cutscene is over, you will get The White Rabbit Emblem Key, so head back to the Grand Hall. Use the key you just got and then proceed to the inner room. After entering the room, you will have to find Shu’s prized possessions.
Find Shu’s Prized Possessions

The possessions aren’t placed on the stands, so you will have to find them (yes, I thought the chapter would end after opening the door, too). Enter the door on the left and grab a bandage from the drawer right at the front. Then, go left and head east. There will be a monster just ahead (it will be roaming the area).

Follow the path ahead and then take a right. Then, take a left, another left, and the enemy will be right in front of you. Beware of its grab attack and defeat it. Then, go ahead and pick one of Shu’s possessions, a Drawing of Young Shimizu Hinako.
Now go back and enter the room in front of you. Just ahead on the left will be a lever; interact with it and then follow the pathway to the right. Head straight, and another enemy will appear right in front of you. Defeat it, and grab the Ema at the end of the pathway. You can also find Divine Water right next to it.

Now, go in the opposite direction and take a left. Along your way, grab a bandage and a Yokan from the lockers. At the end of the path, you will find another lever. Interact with it and go through the door you just unlocked.
Open the door right ahead, and a cutscene will start. After the cutscene is over, you will see really disgusting enemies, so it is time to fight them. Do note that if you are playing on Story Mode, you will only have to get the Brainiac Hero Comic. However, in Hard Mode, both possessions are needed.
Defeat The Monsters

The main monster will be dropping some cacoons, so you will have to destroy them before they hatch. Once you get rid of the cocoon, it drops, target to main one. It also has a scream that can stun you and take away your sanity. It also has a spit attack that isn’t hard to dodge.
Be aggressive with this enemy, but make sure to shift your focus to the cacoons as soon as the monster gives birth to them. It also has some weird rush attacks, so make sure not to get hit by them. The indication to be on guard would be a redish aura around the enemy (whenever this happens, make sure to press R2 to counter).

After defeating this weird, creepy creature, grab some red capsules behind, to the southwest, in a locker. Then, go up the ladder and take a right. Attack the cacoons on the ground on the way and then interact with the lever. In front of the statue with the lever would be Shu’s second prized possession, Brainiac Hero Comic.
Grab that and follow the path to your left. Then, place Shu’s prized possessions on the stand, and a cutscene will commence. With this, Silent Hill f Chapter Seven, Dark Shrine Worship Hall ends (finally).
