Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough of Silent Hill: Townfall, Part 6: Simon.
Silent Hill: Townfall is a survival horror title developed by Screen Burn. It is the latest entry in the Silent Hill series, where you play as three characters: Simon, Zoe, and Richard. However, the main emphasis is on Simon, as he is the main lead. For more information, check out the game’s Steam page.
As it is a Silent Hill game, there are many puzzles and areas that can mess with your head. The last part has plenty of those, as The Weight will be back in this section. So, here in this guide, we will provide you with a walkthrough of Silent Hill: Townfall, Part 6: Simon.

Silent Hill: Townfall – Part 6: Simon Walkthrough – Chapter 14: Fix This

Once the cutscene is over, you will be back playing as Simon. You will also get Richard’s shotgun. So, when you are in control of Simon, check for any interactables and then exit the room. Then enter the elevator and go to the ground floor.
As you are going down using the elevator, a cutscene will commence. When the cutscene ends, go ahead and go up the stairs. On the right side of the path will be some medical supplies and a note. To the left of the note will be a machine that needs fine-tuning.
Turning Off The Alarm – Head Up Using The Lift

Perform fine-tuning, and when done, head to the north side to save your progress; to the left of that will be a lift. Press power and then up. Then follow the path to the left, and on the right side will be a steel wheel, and to the left of that will be a box containing the Controller Key.
Once you have the key, head back to the lift and then go down. Simply press the ground button and then head left. There you will see a control panel. Insert the Controller Key and then input A7D7 and press OK to turn off the alarm.
Aligning The Industrial Pipe

Once the alarm has been turned off, head to the right side of the panel and interact with the command console. Then input E3E3 and press OK. Once done, rotate the wheel twice using R2 and then head up using the lift. Go left and interact with the wheel and rotate it once using L2.
Then, using the lift, head further up to level 3 and go left to interact with the wheel. Rotate it twice using R2. Then head back to the lift and go up to level 4. Once you are at level 4, head to the left side, interact with the wheel, and rotate it twice using R2.
If it is aligned, then your job here is done. Simply head back to the lift and head to the ground. Then go left and interact with the command console. On the top right side, you will notice buttons like Gas Flow, Flow Test, and Ignite.
Final Steps
First, press Gas Flow and then Flow Test. You will see Test Success pop up, and when that happens, press Ignite. Once that happens, you will notice a yellowish light coming from the northwest corner of the room. Head there and go through the debris. You will have to crouch to proceed.
Progress Through The Industrial Pipe

Then go ahead on the right side and pick up the steel pipe. After that, crouch and proceed further through the pipe. Make sure the pipe is equipped. As you go ahead, a monster will crawl towards you, so take it down. Keep progressing through the pipe, and eventually, you will reach an area where there are three ways to go.
As you go ahead, a monster will come to you from the right side, so take it down first and keep heading straight ahead. Shortly after, you will reach an exit. Then head left and interact with the machine to find a rune, and after that, head down the ladder.
Then go straight ahead and up the ladder. The door will not open, so go ahead from the vent on the left side. Enter the vent, go ahead, and take a right. As you go ahead, a monster from the left side will come, so take it down and head left.
There you will find a strange postcard. So head back and then take a left. Then take a right, proceed left, and then another right. If you are confused, you can see some arrows pointing in the right direction. Then, a monster will appear, so take it down, and the exit will be within reach.
Head Up The Ladder

Once you have exited the vent, go ahead and head up the ladder, and you will reach a new area. Ahead will be a metal wheel that won’t turn. So head to the northeast side and enter the room, and loot everything inside. Then exit and head up the stairs.
Go ahead, and there will be a shutter gate you will have to open, but you won’t be able to because there is no power and you don’t have the access card. Also, make sure to explore every area thoroughly, as you will find a lockbox key here too.
Note
In this new area, there are two sets of stairs you can take to go up. The main building is interconnected, so you will be able to unlock it after you have restored the power and obtained the access card. Once you have opened the gate, do not get confused by the two ladders. Simply memorize which one leads to your destination the quickest.
Chapter 15: Trying Again – Restoring The Power

Now you have to restore the power, so head down the stairs, head left, and then right. From there, head down the stairs. Then find room B34 and turn on the power from inside. Then head back up and go to the elevator. Interact with the elevator and then select the 1st floor button.
Then head to the room at the end of the path, and inside will be a monster. There will also be a monster along the way. Take both of them down, and then inside the room, you will find a Joe Key. There will also be a computer you can interact with.
Note
After you have restored the power, do note that The Weight is going to appear in this section. It is going to be the same level of annoying, so what you need to do is memorize the layout. That way, you will not have to run in different directions. We have noticed that if you memorize the layout and run straight to where you need to go before closing the door, The Weight will not be able to catch you unless it is standing in the way. If it is standing in the way, you can simply use the flare gun to stun it.
Progress Further

Use it to read an email. Then head to Joe’s room and open it using the key you just received. Inside, you will find medical supplies, and then on the left side of the room, there will be a tight space where you can squeeze through. Inside the room, you will find a note and a machine that requires fine-tuning.
Perform the fine-tuning and pick up the access card. There is also going to be a steel pipe in this room. Replace it with yours if yours is damaged. Then exit the room, take down the monster, and then head to the right side to get inside the elevator.
Open The Gate Using The Access Card
Now that you have the access card and there is power, head back down using the elevator, and then head up the stairs. Go ahead and open the locked shutter gate using the access card. As you do that, a cutscene will commence.
Once the cutscene ends, open the box using the lock box key and pick up the Remote Systems Control paper. There will also be a telephone on the left side; interact with it to save your progress. Then use the control panel and interact with the two switches to turn it on.
Solving The Control Panel Puzzle

Check out the cameras, and once you have gone through all of them and have seen Valve B, press the top-left button and then the third from the left in the second row. Then press 245 on the right side and press Enter. Then press the first button in the second row from the left side and the last one on the third row from the left side. After that, press 130 and press Enter to solve the puzzle.
Once you are done, head to the right side and open the locker using the code 0825. Inside, you will find some bullets and an AUX Key. Then open the door on the right side of the locker. From there, go ahead, take down the monster, and head down the stairs.
Head to the elevator and go to the first floor. Once you are there, go ahead and open the AUX door using the key.
Solving The Valve Puzzle

Now you will have to solve the valve puzzle. Before that, collect the AUX disc from the metal safe along with some medical supplies and then interact with the computer. Then, insert the disc into the floppy disk reader and check its contents on the computer.
The lines start from the area facing away from the computer. So head in the opposite direction of the computer and interact with the lower right valve. After that, interact with the valve on the upper left side from the one you just interacted with, and after that, interact with the one on the right. Then head to the wall on the left, and interact with the upper left valve. Then interact with the upper left one in the middle, which would be above the three valves right next to each other.
After that, interact with the valve right to it, and then with the left and right of the three valves on the lower side that are right next to each other. Leave the middle one as it is. Then interact with the two valves on the right side of this wall.

Now, on the wall on the far left side, interact with the valve on the lower right side and then both of the left ones. Then interact with the two valves on the far left side. With that, the puzzle should be solved, so head back to the elevator, and on the way, take down the monster.
Now go to the ground floor and do note that The Weight will be back.
Head Up The Stairs Without Being Caught By The Weight

Now, what you need to do is take out the flare gun and shoot at The Weight. It will be stunned for a while, giving you enough time to head up the stairs. Do this only if The Weight is in the way. For us, he was always in the way in this section. Once you reach the control panel area, lock both of the doors and then interact with the control panel.
Then press the second button from the left in the second row. After that, press the last button from the left in the fourth row. Then press 246 and then enter. After that, look into camera 002 for the next code, and then press the first and third buttons from the left side in the fourth row.
Then press 781 and enter. Then, using camera 004, find out the next code, which will be 592. After that, press the third button from the left in the first row and the second from the left in the fourth row. Then input the code and press Enter.
After that, press the third button from the left in the first row and then the second from the left in the fourth row. Then input 621 and press Enter. After that, repeat it with the same buttons but with different codes. Once with 047 and then with 793.
Then head down the stairs and head further down the stairs. Do not use the elevator. Head down the stairs on foot and then explore the rooms for loot. When you end up in room 592, interact with the valve F.
Head Back In The Control Panel Room

Once you are done with that, head back to the control panel room and pick up the sheet from the printer detailing how to release the clamp. Then interact with the other control panel and set both Balance switches to Intermediate. Then turn both Notify switches on and leave the Run Off switch as it is.
After that, input D71 and then make sure only switch numbers 1, 3, and 6 are yellow in Report. Then set Pressure Control to Set and Intubate Flow to None. Then turn the left battery switch to B, then the right one to C, and then press Release.
After that, head down the stairs and interact with the main valve. Then follow the linear path ahead, and a pretty long cutscene will commence. With that, Chapter 15 in Silent Hill: Townfall, Part 6: Simon will be over. Then head toward the elevator, go to the ground floor, exit the building, go ahead a little, and there will be a boss fight.
Chapter 16: Eraser – Defeat The Weight

Now The Weight won’t be like before; you can actually kill it, and the main star is going to be the flare gun. As the fight starts, use the flare gun to stun The Weight. Once it has been stunned, use the shotgun to fire both rounds, then shift to the pistol and shoot all the loaded bullets.
Then back up and reload all your weapons. Shoot the flare again and repeat the process. You may want to stick with only the shotgun if The Weight recovers fast enough. However, you may get away with using the pistol the first time because the bullets were already loaded.

So, it is going to take some time to reload the pistol, which is why it may be better to use the shotgun only. Once you have dealt enough damage, Simon will start suffering, and when you are in control again, head to The Weight and then interact with it.
After that, shoot it using the shotgun and then run away. Reload your weapons and then shoot it with the flare. Repeat this process until you get the second suffering wave.
Note
It is worth noting that there are tons of bullets and heals in the area. There are going to be many bodies of the monsters, and the bullets and heals can be found right next to their bodies. Take everything as you are fighting The Weight. Also, there are small cabinets in the area carrying items. Also note that as you are fighting The Weight, the other two types of enemies can also appear. So take them down first, as they can do serious damage.

Repeat the process enough times, and The Weight will be defeated. Once you have defeated The Weight, you will have completed Chapter 16 in Silent Hill: Townfall, Part 6: Simon.
Chapter 17

Chapter 17 is going to be a pretty small one. Head down to the beach, go straight ahead, and interact with the items. Then head up the stairs, go ahead, and a cutscene will commence. With that, Silent Hill: Townfall comes to an end.
Hopefully, our guides managed to help you throughout your journey and made your experience better in the game.
