Solasta 2, a sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister, is a tactical turn-based RPG that was just recently released. Do note that the game has been released in early access, so the content it is going to feature will be very limited. The game features a portion of Act One with a max level cap of four.
As this is a tactical RPG game, fighting battles and making different decisions that impact the story can be challenging. So here I will provide you with a walkthrough of the first quest, The Funeral in Solasta 2, so you can have a better experience.

The Funeral Walkthrough – Talk To Landry

As the first cutscene ends, you will be given a task of talking to Landry. You can do that by heading north and interacting with him. After that, your objective will change.
Reach The Other Side Of The Bay

Once you have talked to Landry, you will get another objective of reaching the other side of the bay. Follow Landry, keep moving ahead, and eventually, a cutscene will commence. When the cutscene is over, go ahead, and you will get a couple of tutorials. The second one will be regarding the dice system, which is important, so make sure you understand it.
Push The Broken Wall Aside

As you move ahead, you will find a Jute Bag containing a smoked fish. Loot it, and as you do, you will get a new objective. You now have to push the broken wall aside, so just gather your party in the blue zone, and they will move the wall. Then go ahead, and a cutscene will commence featuring some monsters.
You now have to enter cautious mode, which can be selected from the bar at the bottom middle of the screen. Continue moving ahead, and then you will get a new objective of defeating the kobolds.
Defeat The Kobolds

The kobolds will be just ahead on the second path to the left. Go near them, and you will see a pop-up telling you that the battle has started. The first turn will be your ally’s, and he will take care of one of the kobolds. This will not be a challenging fight as you will be able to one-shot the kobolds using any of your characters.

So take care of them and try to understand the sorceries a little bit more. You can also loot the corpses for some items, and when you are done, head left to disarm some caltrops. They will not be visible if you are not crouching, but if you have enough dexterity, they will be visible even if you do not crouch. Then head up the platform to open the Jute Bag for an armor piece.
Take A Short Rest

Your next objective is to take a short rest, and that can be done by clicking on the lower option at the top right side. It will be the meditation icon, so click it and then click on start rest. When the rest ends, you can roll a couple of dice and then click on end rest.
Find A Way Up The Cliff

When the short rest is finished, your objective will be updated to finding a way up the cliff. There will be some vines on the cliff that you can use to climb. So head up and move ahead, and a cutscene will start. When the cutscene is over, you will get a new objective of attending Ma Hin’s funeral.
Attend Ma Hin’s Funeral

Keep moving ahead and loot the area from the right side. On the middle right side, there will be a merchant. Talk to him to buy some stuff or sell him some items. Then head to the path on the left side, and a cutscene will commence. When the cutscene is over, you will get an objective to stop the Deorcas.
Find A Way To Stop The Deorcas

Note
As the fight starts, do not gather all of your characters near the brute because, upon defeating one, it will explode, dealing damage to your party. You do not really have to defeat all of them, either, as you can simply move any of your characters to the right side. You do not even have to fight the brutes, as you can simply interact with the pillar. If you cannot interact with the pillar, then look at the turns of the characters at the top left, and when it is the pillar’s turn, interacting should become possible.
There will be one monster near you called the Kivuli Brute. Attack the monster using your characters, and it will not stand a chance. First, I hit it with an attack using Blain, and then I used a sneak attack using Zoe, and then finished it with the help of Lianore. Then another monster will be on the other side of the orb.

Using Blain, head here and hit the brute with an attack of your choice. After that, move your character ahead and hit the brute again. After that, it will be your ally’s turn, and when his turn is over, one of the monsters from the left side will come closer. Then the other monster will take its turn, and after that, it will be your ally’s turn again.
Then, when it is your turn, hit the brute that is already damaged, and when it is defeated, only one will be left. That said, after your ally’s turn is over, another brute will join the fight, so now you need to take care of them both. Luckily for you, your team should all be close, so you can hit them with back-to-back attacks.
As you are fighting them, two more brutes will join the fight. By then, I had already taken care of one of them. Use any of the spell to deal massive damage. As you continue fighting, you will get an objective to push the pillar over to break Deorcas’s concentration.
Push The Pillar Over To Break Deorcas’s Concentration

Now you do not have to defeat the Deorcas once you get this objective. Simply move any of your characters to the right side of the orb where the pillar is. Interact with the pillar, and a cutscene will commence. During the cutscene, you will get to choose an answer. Yes is the right answer, as choosing no will just kill your characters.
Once the cutscene is over, the quest The Funeral in Solasta 2 will be completed, and three new ones will begin.
