Solasta 2 Walkthrough – Two Inches From Death, The Millennial City, & Just An Old Book And A Bundle

Solasta 2 is a tactical RPG game where your decisions matter. The combat can also be hard, as you need to be tactical about it. Also, note that the game has been released in early access, so there can be some bugs and glitches in the game. For more information, head over to its Steam page.

Now that you have completed the first quest, The Hunger, three more will appear. First, you need to complete Two Inches from Death, and then another one will appear. I don’t think you can complete the first two, as other quests that appear after may be connected to them. So here I will provide you with complete walkthroughs of Two Inches From Death, The Millennial City, and Just An Old Book And A Bundle quests in Solasta 2.

Two Inches From Death – Find Help

When the first quest ends, you can interact with the statue to get a blessing. Do so and then head between the stairs. There will be a gap, and an ambush will be set up for you. Head there, and a battle will be triggered. Move one of your characters on top of the stairs, preferably your archer or a sorcerer.

Defeat The Wood Fairies And Garden Dryads

As there are many enemies, you will need to be a little careful here. The wood fairies’ first turn would be wasted just dashing toward you. So do not move your character toward them and take advantage of them coming to you. This way, you will be able to finish off a couple with no issue.

Use the character you moved up the stairs to take care of the Garden Dryads. Take care of the enemies, and then a cutscene will commence, revealing a new faction. When the cutscene is over, loot the bodies, and then, facing away from the stairs, head east. Go ahead, and a cutscene will commence. From there, head right.

Heading north will continue the quest, but first, head east to find a jute bag. Then head to where you can see a few people standing. As you get close to them, a cutscene will commence, and then you will get some options to choose from. Select the first one to surrender.

Take A Long Rest

Upon surrendering, your team will be in prison. Now, in order to have a long rest, you need some food, and currently, you do not have much. There will be a box next to the bed. Interact with it to find food rations. Then interact with the bed to trigger the long rest.

After the long rest, you will be able to level up your characters. Do so, and then a cutscene will trigger.

Follow The Jailmaster

When the cutscene is over, you will be given a new objective of following the jailmaster. Start following the jailmaster, and once you cross a bridge, make sure to grab The Yearly Man Parade book from the room right ahead. After that, continue following the jailmaster. Go ahead and then head up the stairs.

Along the path, you can find a book called Crafting Magical Weapons on the left, so make sure to pick it up. Keep following the jailmaster, and then eventually a cutscene will commence. Then you will be given two dialogue options to choose from. Choose the first one to increase the relationship with the faction.

Then, among the next options, choose He’s our brother to increase your relationship even more. Once the cutscene is over, you will need to follow the jailmaster again.

Follow The Jailmaster Again

Simply follow the jailmaster, and as you do, he will, in the end, open a door for you. Enter, and your objective will be updated to talk to Rickard. He will be lying on the bed, so interact with him to start a cutscene. You can ask him many questions, and when the conversation is over, the quest Two Inches From Death will be finished in Solasta 2.

The Millennial City – Leave The Place And Speak To Lieutenant Silverstar

Now that you have completed the first quest, you can complete any of the available ones, but I will go with The Millennial City. As you step out of the room, a cutscene will commence featuring a conversation with the jailmaster. As you progress through another quest, The Millennial City will appear in Solasta 2.

Talk To Aesoril Silverstar

So now head right, go all the way to the north, and then open the door on the left. After that, go down the stairs, and there will be a board on the right. Interact with it to get some loot and then keep heading down the stairs to talk to Aesoril Silverstar ahead of the statue.

Enter The Ducts

When the cutscene is over, you will get a new objective. On the left side, you will see a blue box. Head there, and as you enter, a new objective will begin. Then just ahead will be a box containing thieves’ tools. From there, head down the stairs, and a battle will start.

Defeat The Crabs

There will be five monsters, and one of them is going to have a lot of health. However, you should not be intimidated, as these crabs will miss a lot. They may miss the majority of their attacks, so initiate the fight by attacking the one close to you. After that, it will be the enemy’s turn.

The giant crab deals a lot of damage, so this enemy missing a hit will be pretty big. Try to take care of the giant crab first. Upon hitting the enemy with a sword, you can get different attack options. Choose the Searing Smite. After that, try to attack the giant one using the other characters.

However, if the small crabs have approached your other characters, it is better that you take care of them first. Try to take care of the ones around you, and then there may be some left at a distance. Do not go too close to them. Just move into enough range so that your sorcerers can deal damage.

Also, sneak attacks are very good in this fight as they deal a lot of damage. When you have defeated all of them, then the objective of cleaning the ducts will be over.

Leave The Ducts

Now you need to leave the ducts, so after looting the bodies and collecting everything, head out from where you came from. Once you have left the ducts, a cutscene will commence, and the quest The Millennial City in Solasta 2 will be over.

Explore A Little To Start A New Quest

When the cutscene is over, head south, and at the end of the path will be a creature. You can talk to him, and you will get a few options to choose from. Ask him questions related to his race to improve your relationship with the faction. It is purely optional, so even if you do not want to talk to him, head left and when you reach a dead end, head right up the stairs.

Talk To Liera Tempest

There will be an NPC named Liera Tempest. You can ask her about Deocras, but unfortunately, she will not have much information. So head north from this place and then head right.

Head To The Commotion

You will eventually come across a statue. To the right of the statue, you will find a merchant selling armor and weapons. If there is anything you fancy, feel free to buy it. Then head left from there, and a cutscene will commence. When the cutscene is over, another quest, Just An Old Book And A Bundle in Solasta 2, will begin.

Just An Old Book And A Bundle – Find The Suspicious Woman

The first objective in this quest is going to be finding the suspicious woman. To find her head north and then go left. There will be a red-haired woman on the left side named Jebfa. She is the suspicious woman you are looking for, so interact with her, and a cutscene will commence.

Eventually, you will get some dialogue options to choose from. Select the first one, and a new faction, The Ka’Umm, will be revealed. When the cutscene is over, you will get a new objective of heading to Jebfa’s campsite.

Reach Jebfa’s Campsite

The location will be marked on the map, so head there. You can then click on the blocks to travel, and eventually you will get a travelling encounter. When the cutscene is over, you will get a new objective.

Ambush Your Pursuers

Go ahead, and as you get close to your pursuers, the battle will start. Do not get close to them on your own. Use your sorcerers and archers first, and let the enemy get close to you. As the enemies this time are going to be humanoid, this fight is going to be a little tough.

They will have quite a lot of health, so make sure to heal your characters that are low. Do remember that you have AoE spells too, so if the enemies are close together, you can use these spells to deal damage to all of them or at least a couple of them. Once you have defeated them, a cutscene will commence, and then you will have to head to Jebfa’s campsite.

Loot everything and then leave the area. While traveling, you will get another encounter, so enter the fort, go ahead, and a cutscene will commence. When the cutscene is over, a new faction, The Combers, will be revealed. Exit the fort from the other side, and a cutscene will commence.

Leave The Fort

Go ahead and leave the area by stepping inside the blue box. Travel and you will make an interesting discovery. Following the trail will give you survival points, but you can also steer away. I recommend following the trail, as you will not be doing it literally. After that, click on observe and then select the approach and clear your throat option. If you fail, which you may, then you will have to face some monsters in battle.

Defeat the enemies, loot everything, and then exit the area. Then continue progressing, and you will reach Jebfa’s campsite. Then a cutscene will commence, and the Just An Old Book And A Bundle quest in Solasta 2 will be over.
