Finding the Earth Port Warmth Tunnel

From the Earth Port Entrance Altar, take a few steps forward to find a Cooking Pot. You can use this to cook food that will permanently enhance your attributes.

We’ve already picked up Shadow Garlic and Solgreen, so we can craft the Humble Noodle to increase our Flame.

Continue past the Cooking Pot. Enter the house up ahead.

Talk to Lunya inside the house. She’s a Warmhorn Reforger who will increase your Warmhorn (healing flask) capacity if you can bring her the right materials. She also mentions Flutis in the Ashen Library, who reforges your Parts.
There’s also an OHN Exhanger in the room. When you’re done talking to Lunya, exit the house.

Continue heading right to enter the Earth Port. In the next room, you’ll encounter an Earth Port Spear Guard. These enemies dash at you from a distance. But you can parry the dash and execute a Pyron Action if you’re quick.

Keep going right. Note the item at the top, on a floating platform.

There are a few more Spear Guards up ahead. Take them down. Then jump to the platform above using the hanging branch.

Go left and pick up the item (Cracked Solin Fragment) that you saw earlier. Continue going right afterward.

You’ll find an OHN Deposit up ahead. Break it for some free OHN. Then drop down.

You can’t reach the item on the left just yet. So keep going right.

There’s a Seed Archer up ahead. Parry its projectiles to reflect them towards it and take it down.

You’ll reach an opening up ahead. The path on the right leads to a platform that you can’t reach at the moment. So head down.

There will be a Spear Guard just as you enter this section. Take it down and keep moving forward.

Drop off from the edge and continue heading right over the branch to the right-side platform.

You’ll see a door up ahead. This is a Warmth Tunnel that will take you directly to the Ashen Library. Pick up the item on the right and then interact with the door and select Travel.
Ashen Library First Visit

The Ashen Library serves as the main hub in Solateria, where you can talk to different NPCs and upgrade your toolkit. The first time you come here via the Earth Port Warmth Tunnel, you can only access the central part of the area. There are four NPCs here that you can talk to.

For now, go left and jump up the platforms to reach the central section of the Ashen Library. Verita will come in and introduce herself.

After the conversation, she’ll grant you the Pyron’s Heart Defense Part.

Run through her dialogue, and once it ends, head left to find an Altar that you can activate. Spend some time exploring the zone, and talk to all the merchants. There are four merchants here at the moment:

Verita’s Blessing:
Found right next to the Altar. Grants you level-ups and Inflares in exchange for OHN.

Opus:
All the way to the left from the Altar. Will upgrade your Core Stones by exchanging Royal Seals.

Flutis:
Go left from the Altar and drop down through the platform. Will take OHN and enhance your Parts in exchange.

From Flutis’ shop, head all the way to the right past the training dummies to pick up an item. You’re done with this area for now. Return to the Warmth Tunnel to get back to Earth Port.
Earth Port Secret Society

When you’re back at Earth Port, go left and head down. The path to the east is blocked for now. So we’ll go left first. Take out the Spear Guard and jump across the river on the left. Continue moving until you reach the next section.

You’ll spot an item above you. You can’t reach it now. Keep heading left. Be careful of the Thron Lizard burrowed up ahead. They don’t attack you directly. But will jump out and walk to a side and dig down again on the other side.

There are some more enemies up ahead. Take them down and continue moving left till you reach the next section.

You’ll encounter a Seed Archer as soon as you enter the next room. Take it out and keep moving left.

Break the green seed protruding from the ground. This is a Plague Sprout. Each region has a few of these hidden in it. You have to break them and exchange them at their respective Secret Societies for rewards.

Continue heading left, and you’ll see the path split off. Go left first.

You’ll reach the Inn Entrance Altar in the next room. Activate it and continue heading left to spot an NPC standing in front of a house.

Talk to the NPC (Cor) and run through his dialogue. Enter the house afterward.

Go right and break the boulder by striking it a couple of times.

Go forward and interact with the glowing meteor and choose Exchange. This unlocks the Residual Heat Core Stone. There’s also a Stone Tablet in the room that you can check out before moving on.
Reaching the Earth Port Central Area Altar

When you’re ready to move on, exit the house and continue moving right. We’ll take the lower path this time from the previous section.

Keep moving right, and you’ll eventually reach a point where you walk down a wooden slope, and the path splits off. Take the left path first.

Take out the enemies along the way and keep heading right. This will lead you straight into a gauntlet. You’ll have to fight a Terradin Warrior here.
Continue left past the gauntlet after defeating the enemies and drop down through the opening.

Keep going left, and you’ll soon hit the Back Path to the Earth Port Altar.

There’s a Stone Tablet on the left, and a boss fight just beyond this point. But you’ll need to unlock some new abilities to reach it.

Backtrack all the way to where you came from and head right. Drop down through the opening on your right.

This area is big and filled with enemies. Make your way to the right and start ascending. You’ll find an item on the ground near the top.

There’s an exit to the top right of the zone and one through the top near the item. Take the top exit first.

This takes you to the Earth Port Central Area Altar. Activate it and then talk to the NPC on the upper platform.

This is Muha, a merchant who sells you some unique Map Markers.

Take the path left of the merchant to loop back to the area with the Warmth Tunnel. Break the blue crystal wall up ahead to open the shortcut and return to the previous Altar.
Reaching the Closed Pathway Altar

Drop down through the opening on the left to reach the previous area. Then take the exit on the top-right part.

Keep moving right. The lower path is blocked off by a red barrier. Go up and right to face another Terradin Warrior.

Continue past the enemy to the next room to find Cardamine. She sells plenty of useful stuff, and if you’ve got enough OHN, consider buying out her stock. After talking to the NPC, take the path heading up on your left to the next section.

Take out the enemies and go up the ramp.

There are some more wooden platforms on the left that you can use to climb up.
Jump to the platform on the right and take out the enemy. Then loot the chest for an Empty Warmhorn Shell. You can take it to the Lunya to increase your Warmhorn Capacity.
From here, the main path is to your right. But let’s go left first.

The next room has some monsters for you to fight. Take them out and jump to the wooden platform. You can reach a Firm Solin Fragment on the left. Pick it up, drop down, and continue heading left.

Keep moving forward, and you’ll see a ledge that you can’t reach. Break the wall under the ledge to reveal a hidden section. You’ll find another Firm Solin Fragment here.

Return to where you picked up the Empty Warmhorn Shell and go right.

This takes you to the Closed Pathway Altar. Pick up the Memory Fragment and activate the Altar. This is a good time to level up, as you’ll be heading into a boss battle soon.

From the Altar, go right and burn the Vine Wall using your charged attack. Take a few steps forward to spot a body lying beside a spear on the ground. This is the main boss of this zone, Fidiel.
How to Beat Fidiel

Fidiel is the first real skill check of the game and will require a solid understanding of parry and block to beat. He has three resistances, and most of his attacks can be blocked, allowing you to inflict massive damage using your Pyron Action.
The boss fight is split between two phases. During the second phase, he gains a grab attack that must be dodged to avoid taking damage.

He has a three-hit combo that you can parry to immediately take out his Resistances and open him up for a counterattack.
His two-hit overhead combo is also an easy one to parry. The second hit is delayed slightly, so make sure you hold off the block button a bit after the first attack.

When you see Fidiel throw his spear above the arena and jump off, be ready to jump after 2 seconds. After this, Fidiel slams down into the arena, dealing AOE damage

He also has a red unblockable attack that you can parry. The attack is split into two parts: First, he launches the spear in your direction towards the wall and jumps onto it. Then he leaps towards you with another attack. You need to parry both of these attacks to avoid taking damage.

Once you take down his HP to around half, Fidiel will do the slam attack, and the arena will break, dropping both you and the boss to a lower platform. This marks the beginning of the second phase.

During this phase, the boss becomes more aggressive and will occasionally weave in his unblockable attacks between his combos. He also gains a grab attack where he tosses you into the air and impales you against the wall using his spear. You can’t parry this attack and must dodge to avoid it.

But other than this, the fight remains pretty much the same. Keep parrying his attacks and avoiding his grab attack, and Fidiel should go down easily.
Terradin Greenhouse Entrance Altar

After defeating the boss, go right to enter the Terradin Greenhouse. You’ll spot a King’s Statue as soon as you enter the room. Interact with it to unlock the Air Dodge ability.

You can use this ability to reach the ledge on your right. But before you do that, break the wall below the ledge to find a Memory Fragment.

Jump up to the ledge, then use the elevator to go up.

Go left once you reach the top for an OHN deposit and an Unnamed Memory Fragment. Be careful of the Spear Guard and the Thorn Lizard.

Keep going right, and you’ll soon hit the Terradin Greenhouse Entryway Altar.
