Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Sorry We’re Closed.
Sorry We’re Closed is a nostalgic, single-player survival horror game with rich lore, deep characters and multiple endings. Apart from the steps outlined in this walkthrough, it has a lot more to offer, so we highly recommend that you explore and interact with its world as much as possible.

This walkthrough covers the “Robyn” ending – there are three more possible endings. If you are interested in those let us know and we will cover those in more playthroughs.
Prologue
After the game starts and you face your first dialogue options pick the second one.
In the next section pick the second option again. Lock up the store and head across the street to talk to Oakley.
Talk to Marty next. He is the one standing in the alley. Pick the 3rd option and he will tell you about dealing with a person regarding demonic artifacts. You can also speak to Violet about her dessert cart. Check the gate next to her – its locked. Head south and save at the phone booth.
You can try speaking to Lucy but she won’t respond. Enter your apartment building. Listen in on the conversation between Darrel and Clarissa. Head up the stairs and speak to Robyn. Head to the top floor and enter apartment 13.
Pick up the “Dirty Dishes” from the table and place them in the sink by accessing your Inventory. Check the various objects around the room and go to sleep. You will be awakened by a thud during the night, select “Open your eyes”. After you see the creepy demon in your doorway, you can choose to pretend to sleep or keep your eyes open. I chose to keep them open. You will wake up soon with a third eye.
Darell won’t let you go past him so go up to the roof. After the next sequence, check your bed and exit the room. Save at the red telephone and speak to the Dream Eater.
He will give you 4 options.
I chose Destruction. I have save-scummed and chosen the other options but they seem to be inconsequential right now. Take a sit an talk to the Dream Eater and he will ask you to meet him in the library. After entering the library check the statue on the left.
You will find your first Artifact – Angel of Hope. You can read the pink book sticking out on the shelf. You can go around and read the other books around the room except this one below.
If you head down the Dream Eater will ask you not to proceed. If you still do he will ask you once again. On the 3rd attempt, he gets stern. If you now speak to him, he will go around tidying the library. Speak to him 3 times and he will ask you to follow him. Exit through the door to the hall. The Dream Eater will now try to kill you – start running till the next cutscene starts.
This will end the Prologue.
