Welcome to our walkthrough of Sovereign Tower.
Cycle 5 focuses on preparing for the Dragon Knight’s ultimatum, while introducing new characters, including Ursula and Grelin. You accept the Kill the Beast quest, keep the Kutnar Nomads in the Tower, and use the Kitchen to boost knight affinity with their preferred snacks. Gwendan and Ursula successfully complete Kill the Beast, earning valuable Gold and reputation with the People and Merchants. By the end of the cycle, you have made significant progress toward the Dragon Knight’s requirements, reaching 8 Merchant satisfaction, 11 People satisfaction, and 300 Gold.

Cycle 5
Morning
Head to the Intendancy. Speak to Alwen about Gwendan. His new attribute is Fear of the Dark.

There should be nothing else to do, so hold audience today.
Noon
Guilhelm

Guilhelm will ask you to help kill the wolf in Groveshire once and for all. Accepting the request will grant the quest, Kill the Beast.

Ursula

Ursula is a knight looking to join your order. You can turn her away. I chose to have her join.
Grelin

Grelin represents Rozenn. Grelin is Arlin’s son. Grelin will provide a new quest in which you can either Ask the Mystics or Ask the Nobles. I chose to investigate the Nobles.

Gwendan
He will be unhappy with the nomads living in the Tower. You can choose to make them and demand payment which will reduce satisfaction with the people but add to your funds or shut Gwendan down. I chose to shut Gwendan down. This took a hit to his overall affinity.
Academian

He brings an issue of plagiarism to your court. I asked him to keep an eye on both.
Afternoon
Head to the Map Room now. Arlin will propose to bake snacks for the knights. Next, head to the Kitchen. You will now see that you can send knights snacks and you need to discover which Knight likes what. The snacks cost gold but provide affinity boost. I sent Gwendan a Croque-monsieur for the affinity boost. Go to the Round table now.

Quest: Kill the Beast

Gobert would be a good fit but he is out for the previous quest. The quest requires mid STR and low WIT and AGI. My suggestion would be to buy a decent +STR weapon for Gwendan. The Claymore for 105 Gold is a good option. If you have it, you can also equip the Hunter Axe on Ursula. Send them out and end the cycle.
Outcome: The Haunted Lighthouse

It should be a success, only losing points in Wits. You should get +2 with the people and a Gargoyle soup consumable.
Outcome: Kill the Beast

For this quest, you will lose points for Gwendan’s Fear of the Dark and Ursula’s low STR. But you will be successful and get +2 with the People and +2 with the Traders and 120 G. All rewards are important for the Dragon Knight’s Ultimatum. If you have any knights that levelled up, distribute points accordingly. I put 1 point in MAG for Angelica since she is going to be my all round build. For Gwendan I put a point in WIT. For Ursula I put a point in MAG, since I want to max out her MAG.
After all this you should have 8 satisfaction with the Traders and 11 with the People, you should also have +300 G. That’s 2 of the 4 requirements for the Dragon Knight.
