Spacecraft is a space exploration game where you can visit several planets. You work under Babylon and farm resources for the company. You can find a variety of resources on the surfaces while controlling your spaceship. Different tools are required to scan and mine materials. Upgrade your ship using the shipyard and earn bucks for what you have collected.

Getting Started

Your first task is to take an elevator to the docks. Head left and press your hand on the scanner to unlock the door. Go further down to reach a platform and use the panel to go lower. Talk to the lady standing ahead to get talent acquisition.
After signing the terms, get on the ship. Solar Alpha 1 will be the first planet to visit, so head there on your ship. Near the planet, you need to deaccelerate and then locate resources. Be careful not to hit the surface hard; you will damage the ship, and it will take some credits to repair your ship at the dock.
You can then collect them after scanning with your radar. Collect iron ore from ferric stones and copper ore from cupric stones. These can be used to upgrade your ship. You can boost your ship to go faster, but it will deplete your battery, which is recovered if you stop accelerating.
How To Craft Scanlyzer Alpha

You need to craft Scanlyzer Alpha, open the knowledge menu and purchase modular systems for some credit. You can craft it at Babylon HQ. Head to the shipyard using the elevator. The giant red machinery is the smelter, which can be used to turn your ore into ingots.
You need a small module kit, nuts and bolts, and wire to craft the Scanlyzer Alpha. All these materials can be crafted at the workshop by using the raw materials you refined. You can then edit your ship by heading to the shipyard near the clerk.
How To Explore Solar Alpha II

After reaching Solar Alpha II, use your radar to find a high peak landmark. Find black crystal-like rocks on the high peak and scan them. The grey quartz ore can now be mined. If you are closer to the rocks, you can mine them faster.
Explore the planet more to find more kinds of resources. Your radar won’t pinpoint the exact location of the gravite deposit, so you will rely on proximity radar to get close. The nearer you are, the stronger the signal gets. You can only scan the black cube-shaped gravite stones.

There are two other resources you have to find to complete the mission. You can find brassy outcrops to get copper ore and ferrous outcrops to get iron nuggets.
You can now start making money in Spacecraft, so head to the company again. At the shipyard, you will find the company exchange next to the smelter. You can sell your materials or exchange them for other resources.
Tip:
We recommend not selling copper or iron, as you would really need these two resources a lot to craft better upgrades for your ship. Though once you are done with some early quests, you can start selling these. Try to snag as many resources as you can from a planet, or you will face shortage of money often.
How To Do Interstellar Travel

You now need to unlock the electromagnetism permit from the knowledge menu. This will let you craft and install FTL Engine -Eco. You are familiar with other materials required to craft it. To make a Crystalline Focuser, you need quartz and wire. You can use it to move to another solar system.
When you board your ship, you can refill it with magnetic plasma for some cash. You will see a star near Solar Alpha II, move closer to it and then jump to reach it. You will be able to visit many new planets now in Spacecraft. You can also use the bus within the stations at the dock to fast travel between them.
Tip:
To save plasma, you should complete all related missions in a system and then move over to locations further away. We recommend not moving away from Raqmu, unless you have completed all early missions.
How To Go To Janus System And Visit Raqmu

Use your map to see the quest marker pointing to a new station. Warp to the KM point and you will reach Reta Major. Next warp to HS-984R to reach Janus. This is where you will find the Raqmu space station. Talk to the clerk at the counter.
On the same floor, talk to Ingrid to join her training program. Talk to Bob, who is the dock officer on the left counter. Use the elevator to visit the mining bureau. You can purchase the locations of specific ores from the agent.
They will give you a beacon with the location of the material, which you can check in your inventory to locate the ore. We don’t recommend buying these for common ores, as these beacons only show the location on one planet in a sector. You can find most ores through exploration.
How To Complete Cognitive And Physical Assessment

You have to visit the next planet to take your cognitive and physical assessment test, which will increase your rank. Your next task here is to find the Company’s CPAF. Land on the platform and head inside the main entrance.

Unlock the left door with your handprints. Head inside and unlock a small room to find a pass. It can be used to unlock previously locked doors.
Go to the left door, and you will find a puzzle to solve. Your goal is to make sure all doors are unlocked, and you can unlock them with the handprint panels. After that, you just need to move forward, in the final area, climb the ladder and jump across platforms to reach the exit. You can now join corpos.
How To Increase Inventory Space

From the knowledge menu, purchase cargo accommodation. You will gain access to better cargo holds. There are also other upgrades you can make to your ship by unlocking them from knowledge and editing them in Shipyard.
You can get better mining lasers, resource detectors, and a better battery. You need to install new hardware on your spaceship to complete the Gradual Enhancement mission in Spacecraft. You can also install patches to your ship parts by talking to the clerk.
How To Complete Mining Bureau Missions

For your first mining bureau task in Spacecraft, you need to collect carbon, silicate, and pyrite. You only need to collect two of these ores, found on planets near Raqmu. Next, you need to explore any two nearby planets. Their locations can be seen on the map, and you need to jump a few solar systems.
When you reach these planets, you need to fill in data about them. You can do that by scanning ores and finding deposits and bases. To find deposits, scan any of the bases.
After you are done with the initial search, you will be asked to explore restricted areas. You may find them on some planets yourself, and you can also purchase their locations from the mining bureau.
How To Visit The Lab

Raqmu doesn’t have a lab, but you need to learn more about science. So, you will head to further systems and find a new space station marked on the map to find the laboratory clerk.
You can use the machine inside to analyze your resources to unlock more materials and craftables in Spacecraft. You will also gain some science experience. You can make silicon gel yourself after analyzing quartz and silicate.
First Corpo Request

From the corpo menu, you can create a corpo. Then visit the specified sector for your first corpo task. Land on the station there. From the clerk on the counter, you can start taking corpo requests in exchange for credits and other rewards.
You can also visit the trade nexus here to purchase materials gathered by other corpos. Here you can sell your items at a much higher rate, if you want to earn money faster in Spacecraft.
Tip:
After you complete the corpo mission, you can start taking wholesale requests. These are very rewarding for all members, so do them often.
How To Automate Bases For Resource Farming

Talk to Ida Lin, and she will give you a Base Deploy kit. From the knowledge tab, you can purchase the Personal Factory permit. Craft the construction tool in the shipyard. You can find Aluminium ore that is required to build it on the planet near the space station with corpos.
Then you need a construction tool to attach to your character. Build a base near any deposit to claim it for yourself. You need to scan the deposit and then land near it to start building. Then deploy an extractor and a smelter.

Make sure to have some wire at hand. Connect one end to the extractor and the other to the command centre. Do the same for Smelter. These extractors will automatically farm ore for you. If you place ore into the Smelter, it will process it; however, if you want to automate the entire process, you need a drone.
Drones are available after Science level 2. As your machines work in the base, your technology points are collected in the base computer to claim. You can increase your Technology level from here easily in Spacecraft.
You need resources to build items using the tool, so make sure to have them beforehand. If you run out of anything, you can use the Smelter and Workshop at your base to craft it.
