Starsand Island has a lot of depth as a cozy game, considering there is so much you can do in the game. Crafting is the first profession you will learn to make some basic facilities. Then you will learn gardening to grow basic crops and cook meals. Ranching is then helpful to give you animal products and also some assistance on the farm. Learning The Basics
The first thing you will do is craft an axe using stones and softwood. Then you need to craft a bed for yourself, and to gather more softwood, you will use the axe you crafted to chop some trees.
Use the crafting table to make a bed, and then talk to Solara. You will now get a new app on your phone called the Island Life, and you will get some basic recipes. You can view your current title in the application, and you can increase it as you complete certain goals. You will also get a Star Note app, which tracks your achievements.
How To Craft A Skateboard
She will also inform you about the five professions you can have: Crafter, Farmer, Angler, Rancher, and Explorer. You can learn all of these eventually, but since the game recommends you learning crafting first, you can choose that.
Talk to Zerine, and she will teach you the recipe for a skateboard. You need to craft it to become an Apprentice Crafter. First, you need to purchase an equipment blueprint pack to learn recipes for some useful machines. Then you need to make a stone pickaxe.
You can break stones using it, so gather the materials for the quest. Once you have enough, you need to craft a Cutter, a Furnace, and a Charcoal Kiln. You also need copper ores, which you can get by breaking copper nodes. You may also find copper ore chunks randomly, which you can get analyzed later.
Using the Charcoal Kiln, you can make Charcoal using Fibers and Softwood. You can get Fibers by breaking shrubs with your axe. Then, using that Charcoal and Copper, you can make Copper Ingots at the furnace. Finally, use the cutter to craft Softwood Planks. If you are running low on stamina, you can pick and eat some Celeste Berries from the trees with blue fruits near you.
Craft the skateboard by putting everything together. You can now ride it, but if you want to make money, you can also sell your crafted goods. Show what you made to Neona, and she will give you a rental pass for one of the bikes. You can now rent all vehicles which you see around town, including bikes and cars. These will help you quickly travel in Starsand Island.
Talk to Zerine again, and you will get a certificate for Apprentice Crafter. You will get a new application called Workpedia, which you can use to claim additional benefits after getting a certificate.
You can increase your maximum stamina or get more wood from chopping trees with the Apprentice Crafter certificate. You need Starsand to claim these benefits. To get more Starsand, you need to complete your star note and island life tasks.
How To Become An Apprentice Farmer
You have a mail from Graminova, who is asking you to visit the Happiness Seed Shop, so he can teach you farming. You can track the location of the shop on the map. You will find Grimanova in his garden behind the shop. To become an Apprentice Farmer, you need to grow some wheat.
You first need to craft basic farming tools. So after gathering materials, craft a wooden watering can and a stone hoe. You can purchase wheat seeds from the seed shop.
Plough the area near your house, and plant the seeds you bought. Water the field, and if you want your crops to grow fast, you can use the fertilizer. You can use your pickaxe to make the land untilled again. Make sure to always plant the crops for the right season.
Give Auralis the wheat you grew. He will give you some pet food, which you can use to befriend an animal. You can also interact with that pet daily to increase your affection with them.
You will also notice that there are two kinds of pet food for herbivore and carnivore animals. If you are trying to befriend a cat, it will like the carnivore pet food. Talk to Grimanova again once you are done, and you will become an apprentice farmer. Growing your food can help you recover stamina, and it’s also cost-efficient. You can cook pet food and meals by building a campfire in your house.
How To Become An Apprentice Rancher
To become a rancher, head to Green Pasture Ranch and talk to Pastelle there. For starters, you can purchase some rabbits and rabbit feed from the ranch shop. You also need to build a hutch to keep them. Once you are done building, add the animals you purchased. Once they are done eating, they will automatically drop some wool and poop.
Talk to Pastelle again, and you can now mount animals. You can ride an ostrich to quickly reach the boutique and talk to Lunelle. You will unlock the wardrobe, which helps you change clothes and try out new styles in Starsand Island.
Talk to Pastelle again, and you will get your Apprentice Rancher certificate and a feeder. You can use the feeder to make animal feed instead of purchasing it. Clearing shrubs and grass will yield you pasture grass, which is an ingredient for rabbit feed.
