How To Become A Junior Explorer After Defeating Crystalith

Once you have completed the Apprentice Explorer trial by defeating the Luminfrog, you can press onward after lighting up the pathway. Walking on the Luminous pathway will lead you to Crystalith.
The Crystalith is an aggressive boss that will hurl rocks towards you, which you have to dodge. You also need to jump to avoid his ground slam attacks. You can deal a lot of damage to it if you hit it while it’s charging for an attack. This will also leave him in a vulnerable state, so attack it as much as you can.
After you defeat it, you gain access to a new area in the Moonlit Forest called the Crystalith Hideout. Return to Starsand Island, and talk to Zephyria
The Lost Makeup Quest

Accept the quest from the bulletin board after talking to Zephyria about the Junior Explorer Trial. Head to the Moonlit Forest.
It’s a little tricky to get to the chest, but go past the Crystalith Hideout and go all the way to the Azure Bay camp. The quest marker is pointing towards a patch which is blocked by a giant rock. You need to go further and jump down. Then call the elevator to reach the Mural Valley.
Head towards the direction of the marker, and you will find the treasure chest here. Open it to collect all the valuables and return to Starsand Island. You can also break that annoying giant rock from this side, so do that to create a shortcut. Give the makeup pattern to Serena and complete the quest. You can then start the quest to become an Intermediate Explorer.
How To Become An Intermediate Explorer

Accept the Intermediate Explorer quest. Zephyria will ask you to first craft a bow and some arrows, because the enemies ahead are tough.
Purchase the blueprints from the club. You would need Worktable II to craft a bow. To upgrade it, you need Iron Ingots, Softwood Planks, and Glass Panes.
To craft the plume bow, you need hardwood and carbon line, which you can craft using the spinning wheel. You need coal and Sunveil Shrooms to craft Phosand, which you need to make bomb arrows. When you harvest these mushrooms, you will also get spores, which you can plant on your farm. Go to the Moonlit Forest after you are done preparing.

Go investigate the gate at the Mural Valley, and you need to find a Rune Key to proceed beyond it. You won’t need to look that far, as the key is inside a locked chest near the elevator.
You will find an aggressive boss called the Glintortle inside. Watch out for its rapid spin attack; you should focus only on running and not attack during it. Jump when it fires a water beam. You will deal it the most damage if you hit it with a bomb arrow, when its shell is bright blue during an attack. Be careful of the blue projectiles that he will throw your way during it.
Once you defeat it, you can go ahead, but your path will be blocked by vines. So head back to craft either the fire arrow. You need Embersand to make it, which you can also craft at the ammo station. Return to the vine and activate the portal at the Harvest Yard.
