There are many professions in Starsand Island, and after you have learned the basic ones, you should start getting into more technical ones. This part of the walkthrough will help you become an Apprentice Angler and Apprentice Explorer. You will also enter the Moonlit forest for the first time to defeat a Rune Bird. How To Become An Apprentice Angler
To become an Angler and catch some fish, you need to talk to Delphin, You will find him in the AquaBlue Outpost on the beach. Take the elevator inside the building to find Delphin.
He will give you a novice rod and ask you to catch three fish. You will find a fishing spot just outside, so try there. Reel when you get a bite, but stop when the string is red, and you will eventually catch a fish. Talk to him again, and you will get your Apprentice Angler certificate.
How To Become An Explorer
To become an explorer, you need to talk to Zephyria in the Exploration Club. Once you talk to him, he will give you a slingshot, which you can use to clear the rubble outside Moonlit Forest. You can load stones or pellets as ammo in your slingshot. Shoot at the yellow weak points to clear the entrance.
Enter the gate to head inside the Moonlit Forest. Your task is to defeat one Runebird here. You will start at Evernight Forest. As you move forward, you will run into a broken bridge. You can repair it to press on further to the Gate of Life. Go further, and you will find the Runebird.
Make sure to gather enough fluorite so you can use resting camps while you are exploring Moonlit Forest. Use your slingshot to defeat the Runebird. If you charge your attacks, you will do more damage. Once you defeat the Runebird, you will get the Runebird Fragment, which you can show to Zephyria. You will then be granted your Apprentice Explorer certificate.
How To Make Bait
To craft Bait, you first need to purchase the Chopper blueprint from Aquablue Outpost. After you have unlocked Moonlit Forest, you can find nodes to mine tin ore and quartz. Both of these items will be used to craft a Chopper.
You need bronze, glass panes, and softwood planks to make the Chopper. To get bronze, you need copper ingots and tin ingots and process them at the furnace. To craft glass panes, you need to first craft a glass brick using quartz and charcoal, and then process it at the cutter. Once you make the chopper, you will have access to a variety of basic baits.
How To Craft Ammo
To craft Ammo, you need to purchase the Ammo maker and Ammo blueprints from Zephyria. All you need is some softwood and stones to craft the Ammo maker. You can craft Simple Pellets for starters by gathering stones. This will be crucial to combat in Starsand Island.
How To Upgrade Bag And Build Storage Boxes
To get more space in your bag, open the bag menu, and you will see the expand option in the bottom left. You need fibers, stones, and softwood for an upgrade. Storage boxes can be crafted using eight softwood.
How To Unlock The Gate of Life
You need to mine grave crystals to proceed further in Moonlit Forest. The first one is found near the stone bridge. You will also find another on a cliff near the location of the Rune Bird.
The third one is found outside the Gate of Life. The gate will disappear, and you can proceed further, but you need a better pickaxe to break the obstacles.
