Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough of Spire of the Skies in Stonemachia.
Once you have defeated The Behemoth, you will not need to do much exploration. This is because only boss fights remain. To face the final boss, whose identity you may have already guessed given the nature of the game, you must first defeat four other bosses.
In this guide, we will explain how to defeat each of these bosses in the Spire of the Skies area of Stonemachia. For more information, head over to its Steam Page.

Stonemachia – Spire Of The Skies Walkthrough

As you reach In The Shadow of the Spire, continue forward, and you will come across a chessboard. Use it to level up and then proceed ahead to enter a new area called Spire of the Skies. There are five doors in total here, including the one you entered through. Directly in front of you will be four red doors, and you now need to enter each of them one by one.
Head through the door on the far left side of the area. As you continue forward, a boss fight will begin.
Note
After defeating the first three bosses, you will regain all of your magical powers. Do note that, you will also still have The Queen’s power. If you are low on health and have no healing left, consider transforming into The Queen instead of attempting to parry. Although The Queen can only withstand two hits, keep in mind that if you parry an enemy attack after taking one hit, you will restore your health.
Defeat Auric Centaur

This enemy has a moveset that is very similar to Centaur Furcifel. It wields two swords and can perform poke attacks with each weapon one after another before following up with a cross slash. Similarly, Auric Centaur can unleash slash attacks with both swords and then follow them up with a double sword slam attack.
It can also perform the same slam attack, jump away, roll, and then repeat the attack once again. One of the more dangerous combos this boss can use starts with a slash from the left sword, followed by a plunge attack from the right sword. It then backs away, charges toward you with a poke attack, and finishes the sequence with the double slam combo.

Another attack you need to be particularly careful of is the spinning slash. Do note that only the left sword has a hitbox during this attack. Also keep in mind that Auric Centaur can throw its weapons toward you and can even launch projectile attacks from a distance.
Many of its attacks are very similar to those used by Centaur Furcifel, so you may not have too much trouble adapting to this encounter. There is no second phase, and the moveset remains largely unchanged throughout the entire fight. However, the boss possesses a large health pool, so expect the battle to take some time to complete.
Once the boss has been defeated, go through the red door, and you will return to the Spire of the Skies. It is now time to enter the door directly next to the one you originally entered, or in simpler terms, the middle door.
Defeat Igneous Leviathan

Igneous Leviathan is a difficult boss and is capable of launching numerous projectiles toward you. It can also perform water-based AoE attacks as well as several dangerous sword slash attacks. The attack you need to be most wary of is the spinning slash because it can hit you three separate times and is capable of removing a massive portion of your health.
This boss can also perform overhead slams, sword slashes, and poke attacks. Whenever it goes underwater, prepare to parry because it will rotate and strike you twice with its head. Successfully parrying these attacks helps build your special attack meter very quickly.

Since this boss attacks frequently and gives you many opportunities to parry, you will be able to use your special attack much more often than usual during the encounter. The boss can also perform a sword sweep attack, follow it up with a poke attack, and then strike you with its head as part of the same combo.
There is no second phase in this encounter, so simply continue fighting until the boss is finally defeated. Once the battle is over, head through the red door, and you will return to the main area. Use the chessboard to level up if needed and then enter the red door on the far right side.
Defeat Sidereal Lion

Sidereal Lion uses a sword, and the attack you need to be most careful of at the start of the fight is the plunge attack. This is because once the boss lands the attack, the sword becomes lodged in the ground and an AoE explosion occurs.
Due to that, it is better to dodge away immediately after parrying. Once the explosion has gone off, rush back in and start dealing damage. Whenever the boss rolls away from you, prepare to parry a rolling attack. The boss will roll toward you with its sword positioned above its body.
You only need to parry a single hit because, as long as you remain still afterward, you will be safe from the rest of the roll animation. The boss can also perform normal slash attacks as well as flashy sword combos. It can leap into the air and perform a slam attack, and can also move back slightly before rushing toward you with a powerful slash.

Another attack you need to watch out for is the roar attack. This move has an explosive radius around the boss. During this attack, several enemies will be summoned and begin running in a specific direction. Make sure to pay attention to where they are coming from.
There is one more attack that can be particularly dangerous. The boss slams its head into the ground, which itself has a hitbox, and then activates a spell. If you get hit by the spell, your character will become frozen for a short period of time. Other than that, there is not much more to this encounter, so defeat the boss and then head through the red door.
Only the last door remains, so head inside, and a boss fight against Derasin will begin.
Defeat Derasin, The King’s Sword

Derasin fights using two swords and can perform both slash attacks and poke attacks. She can also use both swords simultaneously to perform a powerful slam attack. Fortunately, most of these attacks and combos are fairly easy to parry once you become familiar with the timing.
The attack you need to be most careful of is when Derasin turns upside down. This is the moment when she begins rotating with both swords extended outward. While this attack can be extremely satisfying to parry successfully, it is also one of the more difficult attacks in the encounter to time correctly.
Derasin has several lengthy combos, so do not immediately start attacking after parrying one or two hits. There is often another attack coming.
When she shifts slightly to her right side and attacks with the right sword, expect a follow-up strike from the left side that comes from below. She then immediately follows that attack with a similar strike using the right sword again before finishing with a double slash.
In some cases, she can replace the final double slash with the upside-down spinning attack instead.
Phase Two

As the fight progresses, you will notice Derasin transform into a blue version of herself. Several of her previous combos remain unchanged, but she also gains new attacks.
One of the new attacks occurs when Derasin leaps into the air and slams into the ground. This attack can be dodged or parried fairly easily once you learn the timing. Do note that she can perform this attack up to three times consecutively.
The combo where she turns upside down and spins toward you is also extended during this phase. A blue sword appears on the ground and continues swinging even after Derasin has finished attacking. Fortunately, the sword remains stationary, so taking a few steps backward is usually enough to avoid getting hit.
Another new attack occurs when Derasin summons circular zones around the arena before launching her assault. As long as you avoid stepping into those circles, you should be fine. She can also summon additional monsters, but their attack range is limited, so maintaining some distance is generally enough to stay safe.

Whenever Derasin performs a poke attack, make sure to dodge either left or right after successfully parrying because an explosion will occur immediately afterward.
The remainder of the fight is fairly straightforward, so continue attacking until she is defeated. Once the battle is over, a cutscene will begin. After it ends, continue forward, and you will notice several enemies underneath the giant hand. Defeat them and another boss fight will begin.
Defeat The King

The King’s movements are very slow during the opening part of the fight, so keep attacking whenever you get an opportunity. After you have removed roughly 30 percent of its health, the boss will transform.
Phase Two

As expected, The King becomes significantly more flashy during this phase and gains access to numerous attacks that can overlap with one another. It can summon Pawn pieces that slowly march forward in a straight line. Thankfully, these are very easy to avoid.
The attack you need to be most careful of is the projectile slash. This attack is dangerous because it is immediately followed by a high-speed slash attack that comes out extremely quickly.
The boss can also summon a giant chess piece by slamming its sword into the ground. After performing this attack, it teleports to a different location. If you successfully parry the initial attack, make sure to dodge away immediately because an explosion will occur shortly afterward.

The boss can perform a wide variety of ranged attacks and can also switch its primary weapon, much like a previous boss you have already faced. When it switches to the hammer, make sure to jump if you are standing at a distance. This will help you avoid the shockwave generated by the attack.
It can also switch to a spear, allowing it to fire projectiles before following up with a poke attack. Realistically, this boss fight is not going to be overly difficult, especially if you have already learned how to deal with weapon-switching enemies throughout the game.
Once you have defeated The King, a cutscene will commence. With that, the walkthrough of Spire of the Skies is concluded in Stonemachia.
