Chapter 2-1 (After the Engine) in Sunken Engine is the second chapter, requiring you to find what has changed. Complete this objective while repairing the bigger ships, selling items, and purchasing upgrades. Learn what the essential steps are to follow to complete Chapter 2-1 in Sunken Engine.

Once you complete the chapter 1-3 (Unlock the Castle and descend into its depths), you enter Chapter 2-1 in Sunken Engine. The ships here are more complex and require high-level skills and upgrades. However, this chapter will be fully released in future updates of the game.
Your character will be at level 20 when you reach Chapter 2-1 in Sunken Engine. The mechanics here are the same, as you will keep repairing the ships to earn money. You can progress in this chapter just to level up, as it has no ending right now.
Purchase the upgrade for Deck Length to purchase larger ship licenses. Repairing these ships grants you more XP and money. XP is essential to level up and gain skill points.
Sometimes, a ghost ship will also arrive that will have mysterious eyes and cursed symbols. Use the Scraping Spatula to remove the mysterious eyes and the magic book for the cursed symbols.
These ships are cursed, so get ready to lift the curse. You need to match symbols with the shadow in the background. Find and light the candles in the corners of those symbols.
Pearl is a precious item in Sunken Engine. You can acquire it by breaking the oysters using the hammer in the kitchen.
Collect the pearls using the bazaar box and place them in the bazaar to sell them at a higher price.
Most big ships have radios that are not working properly. You can simply fix it by rotating the red and blue knob to align the lights correctly.
Slide the green level left or right to light up the green indicator when both are correct.
Use the hammer to fix the bent metals in the ships. However, you need to purchase the license from the bank to unlock these features for repairing the ships.
Repairing the ships is the only way to level up in Sunken Engine, so purchase the high-level licenses from the bank to take on the job of larger coaster ships.
You can purchase the lockpick from the market. Make sure to purchase the lockpick license from the book. Simply approach the locked door and start lockpicking.
Use the garbage bin to carry all the trash, and a spatula to collect the oysters and starfish from the ship. Earn more money by selling the oysters and starfish at the bazaar.
Make sure to purchase the nails, tape, build, and more from the market and place them in the rack in the shipyard. Use these items to repair the bigger ships.
Most customers will ask you to lockpick the doors and cabinets. Take your lockpick, rotate it, and test if the lock turns completely. If it doesn’t, adjust your angle and try again. Make sure not to break the lockpick.
You need to rotate the lockpick to find the correct angle. Hold to turn the luck and test the position. If the angle is wrong, the lockpick will break or shake. Make sure to locate the right spot and fully turn the lock to open it.
While repairing one of the cursed ships, you will remove the mysterious eyes and cursed symbols. Use the magic book to get inside the secret room on this ship.
You will come across a crown in this area over the throne chair.
Hold the LMB while holding The Necronomicon while facing towards the crown to gain 100 XP and the Crown of the Abyss.
You can sell this crown at the bazaar for $650. Selling this item allows you to gain a huge chunk of money.
Some ships will also have a locked cabinet that can only be unlocked by the Spring Mechanism lock.
You need to hold and push the spring-loaded pin upward. Once it starts vibrating, you must release it ASAP. Move on to the next spring if successfully done. Repeat the process for all spring-loaded pins till every lock is cleared.
You can also go fishing in this chapter to earn some extra money by selling the fish at the bazaar.
Make sure to wait for the fish to bite and press LMB when the gauge is in the green zone.
The larger ships have the damaged cable as well, which you need to repair.
Simply hold down the input to wrap the insulation tape around the cable and repair it.
Acquire the Statue of the Unknown from one of the cursed ships underwater and place it in the bazaar to sell it to earn more money.
Just continue repairing the smaller, bigger, and larger coaster ships to level up till the second chapter comes in future updates.
