From Port Zekson To Loegress

After passing through the Gate of Vortigern, you’ll arrive at Port Zekson. After you arrive, you’ll have to head to Leogres, but before that, Eizen asks you to go and talk to Benwick to unlock Expeditions.

Expeditions take 30 minutes to complete, and they keep on going even if you shut down the game. You’ll get rewards after every completion, which may include items that you can sell or ingredients for cooking, alongside other materials.

You can then leave the port by the southern exit, and that will lead you to Danann Highway. Keep going south on the Dannan Highway, and you’ll eventually arrive at Loegress.

Once you’re inside Loegres, keep going further south inside the city. There’s a ceremony going on here where Crown Prince Percival and Artorius are giving a speech. Eizen suggests gathering information first before attacking Artorius.

You’ll then have to enter the tavern in Loegres and talk to the person on the counter. The tavern is the building with a grape billboard outside of it.

Bloodwings

As you’re eating at the tavern, a lady will arrive behind the counter. She’s willing to give you the information, but you have to complete a few tasks to prove yourself first. The lady gives you three tasks, and you can take on them in any order.

Finding The Missing Man

As you exit Loegres from the north exit, you’ll be greeted by a member of the Bloodwings, and they’ll give you an Inoph Bottle, which allows you to fast-travel between locations you’ve already visited. You can only fast-travel to a location if no story events trigger on the way.

Once you’re on the Danann Highways, take the exit on the northeast corner. You’ll find a code-red demon in the area. You can find it right now, but it’s recommended to face it after you’ve cleared all the tasks related to the Bloodwings.

In the section, take the exit on the east. From here, you’ll arrive at the Western Galles Lake Road. From here, you’ll have to jump on rocks, push away boulders, and make your way towards the east.

Take the northeast exit in the first section. From there, keep pressing forward, and you’ll shortly arrive at the marked location.

There are a few enemies here; defeat them, and talk to the missing man, and he’ll be able to return to Loegres by himself. Return to the tavern to take on the next task.

Destroy Goods

For this task, you have to destroy a bunch of red crates inside a warehouse on Port Zekson. Exit the tavern after accepting the task.

After that, use the Inoph Bottle to travel to Zekson Port. The warehouse is in the north of the port. Velvet can then destroy the crates inside the warehouse. As you’re leaving, you’ll find Eleanor here. You’ll have to fight against her.

It turns out Eleanor has Bienfu tethered to her, a Malak that originally belonged to Magilou. After the battle, you’ll have to return to the tavern in Loegress to report your success.

Foil An Ambush

As you exit Loegres from the northern exit, keep going north. In the next section, take the path going to the east. You’ll find the ambush here.

Defeat the enemy, and it turns out all three tasks were connected to the Nectar business. Return to the tavern to report your success.

High Priest Gideon

As you return to Lady Baskerville inside the tavern in Loegres, she’ll tell you how Artorius and the new fifth empyrean, Innominat, have taken residence inside the Empyrean’s Throne near Loegress.

However, to gain entry, you’ll need a key to disable the barrier around the area. Before she can tell you more about the key, you’ll have to complete one final task.

The task requires you to assassinate High Priest Gideon of the Midgand Cathedral. You can’t enter the villa from the front gates, and you’ll have to find a way through the catacombs.

Lady Baskerville gives you an insignia, prompting all Bloodwing members to help you. Once you’re done and ready, talk to the man at the counter of the tavern to initiate the assassination.

Take the eastern path heading out of Loegres, and you’ll find a Bloodwing member here. They’ll guide you to the catacombs.

Barona Catacombs

Once you enter the dungeon, take the first southwest exit. Then, keep going south. You’ll enter a large section. There’s a square area on the eastern side of the section. You’ll find a lever here. The lever will drain the water, opening up new paths for you.

After draining the water, take the exit west of the section. There’s another lever here in the south of this section. Once you’ve used the lever, head to the northwest part of the section, and you’ll find another lever. Use the lever, and that will unlock the path to the southwest area of the section.

Here, you’ll find a small opening. You can squeeze through to enter the next area. From here, the path is quite straightforward, leading you to the villa.

The Villa

You’ll come out of the dungeon inside a library. Laphicet picks a book referring to the Innominat here. Keep exploring the area, you’ll find some chests and herbs here.

You’ll eventually arrive at the prayer room. Here, you’ll have to fight against Gideon. However, as you approach him, Eleanor will ambush you alongside her Malak.

During all this, Bienfu is separated from Eleanor, and Magilou quickly forms a pact with him. From now on, you’ll be able to play as Magilou as well.

Once you’ve defeated Eleanor, High Priest Gideon will succumb to Daemonblight and turn into a Daemon. He’ll then run away.

You’ll then enter a new area, and you have to keep going downstairs here. Once you’re at the bottom, you’ll find a Griffin, and it has already defeated Gideon.

The Griffin is a daemon, and it’s caged under the villa. Eleanor also arrives shortly after, and doubts start to emerge in her. You’ll then leave the villa and head over to the tavern to report to Lady Baskerville.

The Key

Lady Baskerville upholds her end of the bargain and tells you that the key to enter through the barrier requires you to have at least four Greater Malak with you.

Eizen, Laphicet, and Bienfu are three Greater Malakhim, and you need one more to enter the throne. You’ll then have to head back to Port Zekson. Talk to Benwick at the docks, and he’ll tell you to rest for a bit.

Talk to the companions, and once you’ve done so, you’ll hear about a stray Malak heading towards the throne. This is the same Malak whose weapon was found where Aifread disappeared.

You’ll then have to head to the Empyrean’s Throne. Here, you’ll find Zavied, a wind Malak. Zavied and Eizen will be fighting, and Velvet and the rest of the party will have to fight the two.

Once you’ve defeated the two, Zavied will agree to help you break through the barrier, as he’s also a Greater Malak. They’ll stand before the barrier and break it.

Note that, before heading to the Empyrean’s Throne, you should level up your characters and equipment because the battles ahead are challenging.

The Empyrean’s Throne

As you approach the area, you’ll find that there’s a barrier placed here. You can interact with the mechanism on your left to unlock the barrier.

If you go upstairs, you’ll find a similar barrier, but this one is unlocked by interacting with two mechanisms. If you go back downstairs, you’ll find stairs on both sides of the throne.

You’ll find one mechanism on each side, and once you’ve interacted with both of the mechanisms, you’ll be able to head to the throne. Head inside the throne room and you’ll find Artorius here.

Artorius Collbrande

Velvet will immediately jump on Artorius to fight against him. However, your party will not be able to deal any damage to him right now. Shortly after, he’ll use his Mystic Arte on you.

Once you’ve been defeated, Artorius will invoke Innominat’s power. Preator Oscar and Teressa will also show up here, alongside Melchior and Eleanor.

Just as the party is cornered, Laphicet will use his powers to open a rift. The party jumps into the rift, but Eleanor also follows. Melchior manages to send one of his communication orbs inside the rift before it closes.

The Earthpulse

As Velvet wakes up, she’ll find Laphicet, but he’s suffering and might turn into a Daemon. You’ll then have to proceed in this area. The path here is straightforward; just interact with the orbs in the areas to travel to the next platform.

In most sections, you’ll only find one orb, which leads you to the next section, and you have to keep going. Shortly ahead, you’ll meet up with Eizen. He tells Velvet that Laphicet needs a vessel. Otherwise, he’ll turn into a Daemon.

Eleanor shows up and offers to become Laphicet’s vessel. She’ll form a pact with him, and you’ll arrive in a new location. Rokurou and Magilou are already here.

Yvolg Ruins

The Earthpulse has transported you and your party to some other end of the world. You’ll have to progress through the ruins to reach the open world. Here, you’ll encounter certain breakable walls that you can break to progress ahead.

Once you exit the ruins, you’ll find Eleanor outside. Eleanor then challenges Velvet to a duel, promising to obey her orders if she loses. You’ll have to fight against her and defeat her.

After defeat, Eleanor will pass out, and the party will bring her inside the ruins. You’ll then have to talk to your allies and head out again.

You’ll find Laphicet outside. After a long conversation, Laphicet will reveal the book he picked up from the Villa in Loegress. Magilou knows someone who can translate ancient tongue on the southern continent, and that’s where you’ll be heading next.

Return inside the ruins and interact with the sleeping Eleanor. This will trigger a cutscene where Melchior’s communication device calls out to Eleanor as she wakes up.

Arthur asks Eleanor to spy on Velvet’s party and bring Laphicet to Loegres through the communication device. Velvet and Eizen watch the entire interaction. Eleanor joins your party permanently after this.

Brigid Ravine

Before you can get to a port, you’ll have to find out where you are. Travel through the Brigid Ravine. Make your way to the south of the area. There’s a Code Red Deamon in the area to the extreme south, but you don’t have to fight against it.

Take the path towards the west, and you’ll find a brigand here. Defeat the brigand, and he’ll tell you about a Daemon Swordbreaker in the area that goes around breaking the swords of others.

Once you’ve interacted with the brigand, you have to head towards the eastern exit of Brigid Ravine. You’ll find the Swordbreaker Daemon here.

Defeat the Daemon in battle. After the battle, the Daemon will disappear. You’ll then have to go to the Vester Tunnels.

Vester Tunnels

Once you enter the tunnels, go north. You’ll find a Flame Door shortly ahead. You need to interact with a candle nearby to unlock the gate.

Keep going deeper, and you’ll then encounter a Turtlez merchant here. Shortly ahead of the merchant, you’ll find the Swordbreaker. He has just been defeated by Shigure, the Legate, and the man Rokurou is looking to defeat.

You’ll have to fight against Shigure as Rokurou. Once you’ve depleted half of his HP as Rokurou, Shigure will immediately defeat you.

After that, Shigure challenges your squad to come and fight him at the port. After the scenario, the swordbreaker takes Rokurou with him deeper into the tunnels.

Vester Tunnel Depths

Now, you won’t be able to leave until you’ve found Rokurou. There’s a path going to the left, right before the exit. You’ll find a crack at the end of this path, and that will allow you to go deeper into the tunnels.

Here, there’s a path heading southeast. You’ll find a small crack here as well. Keep going on the path, and you’ll arrive in the next section.

From here, go to the southwest corner of the section. Here’s another hole that you can squeeze through. From here, you’ll find Rokurou and the swordbreaker on the other edge of the section.

Talk to the blacksmith, and he’ll reveal himself to be Kurogane. Kurogane is made up of metal, and he’ll use his head to forge dual blades for Rokurou. He also asks to travel with you to the port to see the blades in action.

While the forging is taking place, talk to all the allies. You’ll then hear that exorcists are attacking the tunnel. Make your way towards the exit of the tunnel, and you’ll encounter the exorcists halfway.

Once you’ve defeated the exorcists, Rokurou will arrive with his dual blades. You’ll then have to head to the port to face Shigure. These blades are great, and you won’t need any other weapon for Rokurou till the endgame if you keep enhancing it properly.

Right now, you’ll also have to go through the remaining half of the tunnel that you couldn’t explore earlier to get out. The path is fairly straightforward, but you’ll encounter gates with Flame Barriers. Use the nearby candles to unlock these gates.

Port Cadnix

As you escape the mines, you’ll arrive at Port Cadnix. Here, you’ll find Shigure waiting for you alongside some exorcists. Fight against the exorcists as well as Shigure.

Once you’ve depleted all of his HP, Shigure will use his Mystic Arte. This action shatters Rokurou’s dual blades. He then asks your party to get stronger and meet him at the Abbey before he leaves.

Note that even though the dual blades were broken during the cinematic, they remain fully functional in the game’s combat.

Van Eltia shortly arrives at the port, and Kurogane also asks to join the crew on the ship as his quest to craft a blade that could best Stormhowl remains unfinished.
