Town’s Request Board Guide

After ending the first day, you will receive two events for Day 2: Check your mailbox and check the request board. Head outside the farmhouse and interact with the mailbox to find a letter from Mayor Oda. She invites you to check the request board in the town square.

From the mailbox, move east to find the objective. Make sure to check the mini-map on the top left of your screen to navigate the island better. Always check the mailbox whenever a new day begins.

The area near your farmhouse is covered with dangerous monsters, including goblins and slimes. While you can easily defeat them, there’s one enemy that you should be extremely careful of: The Metallic Archers. Covered in armor that emits blue light, keep a distance from them, as they can deal staggering damage; the Yokai sword isn’t strong enough to beat them.

Additionally, avoid falling from heights, as the game doesn’t shy away from fall damage. Move across the bridge to get to the objective, and you will find Mayor Oda near the request board.
Tip: Use the Boar transformation to traverse the lands faster.

On the board, you will find two quests: Teach a Yokai to Fish and More Wood, More Stone, More Hard Stuff! To progress the story, we’ll have to complete these quests first.
Teach a Yokai To Fish

This is Torleone’s quest. Move east of Seikyu Town to find his shop. He will ask you to fish in the sea, but since the protagonist doesn’t have a fishing rod, he will provide you with a Basic Rod.
Once the conversation ends, you will find the fishing rod inside the weapons slot. Equip it, and follow the instructions on the right side of the screen to catch a fish.

Reeling it in is the tricky part. Wait for the fish to bite the rod first, and when the bar on top depletes, hold F or left-click to reel it in.
However, this isn’t the fish you’re looking for; he’s a Kappa named Prince. It believes that anyone who saves him from the river will be his soulmate, but the protagonist and Kon frequently decline it. Still, they decide to help him whenever he wants, and in return, he gives them a Kappa’s Keepsake.

Now, return to fishing. Catch two Crucian Carps and give them to Torleone. With this, he’ll give you the carps, and the quest will end. He explains how different seasons can spawn different fish, and every water source (Lake, River, Ocean) has unique fish for you to catch.
More Wood, More Stone, More Hard Stuff

To complete this quest, you must farm 25 stone and 30 wood. For wood, you can cut down trees by attacking them repeatedly, and break rocks for stone.
If you’re struggling with their location, return to the farmhouse and check around its vicinity. You will find numerous rocks and trees there. After collecting the required amounts, return to Sasaki and give him the stone and wood.

In return, Kon and the protagonist ask about the history of the Fox clan. However, he doesn’t know anything about it, but he has a lead: The priest of Inari. He will write a letter to him on our behalf. And here, the quest comes to an end. Talk to Mayor Oda, then return to the Farmhouse and sleep for the day.
Checking The Request Board

With the dawn of day 3, return to the town square and look at the request board again. You will find two requests of the same name: “Lend A Hand!”
Lend A Hand – Leon’s Request

For the first Lend A Hand request, go near the farmhouse and look for wobbling pouches on the ground. Go close, and wait for the man-eating plant to show itself.
If you’re lucky, it can drop two leaves. They’re nimble, and the best way to defeat them is by startling and then attacking them; a mid-air strike can do the job easily. Collect three man-eating plant leaves.
For Resins, break trees and stones to find them. Collect eight of them, then follow the objective’s marker to find Leon. He will be in the Inari temple. Give him the items you’ve collected, and then the quest will end.
Lend A Hand – Haphaestus’ Request

Haphestus is Seikyu’s muscle man, residing in the town square. He has requested four Cloud Lotus and 2 Silkworm Ice Cocoon.

Both of them can be easily found near the farmhouse. The Cloud Lotus will be floating near the water streams, and the Silkworm Ice Cocoon is on the trees. Break them down and collect them. Return to Haphaestus, give him the items, and complete the quest.
Adventure Up The Mountains – Main Quest

If you’ve been exploring the north eastern are of the Farmhouse, you may have come across Yoni, a centaur who is tasked with collecting Bamboo for her dress. However, since she’s bad with directions, she will ask for your help.
To get to the Bamboo Forest, follow the path behind your Farmhouse. Unfortunately, if you don’t have a level 2 weapon, you won’t be able to break bamboo. Still, there’s a risky method to farm it. See the crystals deep into the ground? They’re hidden bosses. Attack them to make them follow, and then bait them to attack. Get close, and when you see them attacking, step back immediately.

Their attacks damage the bamboo nearby. As soon as they drop, collect them and run away. Now, return to the town and visit Yoni’s home. If it’s above 7 PM, then sleep and return tomorrow. Wait until 9 AM, and then talk to her.
Fish Please! – Shuten’s Request

Remember Torleone’s fishing training? It’s time to put it to good use. Both requests of Day 4 are about fishing, one from Sasaki and the other from Shuten. Shuten has requested two Black Bass.
You can easily find them in the rivers near the Seikyu town square. After catching them, meet Shuten and deliver the fish.
Fish Please! – Sasaki’s Request

Similar to Shuten’s request, Sasaki has asked for two Gar. However, unlike Black Bass, Gar is only limited to rainy weather, and it completely depends on your luck. If the quest fails, don’t worry about anything. Still, if you’re lucky and it rains, go to a nearby river immediately.
Use the fishing rod to catch two Gar, and then give them to Sasaki to fulfil his request.
