how to save gremla The Blood of Dawnwalker

Welcome to Indie Indie Games’ guide on whether you can save Gremla and, if you can, how to save her in The Blood of Dawnwalker Blasphemy quest.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is the latest vampire RPG game from Rebel Wolves. The game has had intense hype throughout its development stages, mainly because CD Projekt Red veterans worked on it. For more information, check out the game’s Steam page.

As The Blood of Dawnwalker is an RPG, your choices are going to matter a lot. The game gives you one of the best examples of how your choices matter right in the prologue. Gremla is a character in the village, and she lost the banner she was making for Brencis. Because of this, what awaits her is death in the Mass, but you can prevent that.

Here, in this guide, we will tell you how to save Gremla from dying in The Blood of Dawnwalker Blasphemy quest.

How To Save Gremla in The Blood of Dawnwalker

The Blood of Dawnwalker how to save Gremla in the Blasphemy quest

If you have started the Sacred Covenant quest, then unfortunately for you, it is too late to save her. However, if you have not started the quest and are now completing the Like Father, Like Son quest, then there is still plenty of time. You can also complete the quest before completing the Withering Away quest.

However, it is better if you complete it afterward. So, what you need to do is, after sparring and having a chat with Pieter, you will get two options. One is to wait with Pieter till the Mass. Choosing this option will lock you out of all the side quests available in the village.

So, what you need to do is select the first option. See you then. This is going to be the option that will allow you to roam freely before the Mass.

Once you choose it, head straight to Gremla. Head down the path and go toward your home. When you have reached there, head in the opposite direction of the house and follow the path to the left.

Keep going ahead and, after the cows, you will see some people standing on the right side of the path. There, you will see Gremla on her knees, so talk to her and then choose the first option. You will then have four options to choose from.

If you choose the last one, the quest will not be triggered. So, choose the first one.

Now, once you have talked to her, the Blasphemy quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker will begin. What you have to do is investigate Gremla’s shed and its surroundings using Focus Mode, which you can activate by pressing L2.

Enter the shed, and you will see the loom ahead. In Focus Mode, inspect it. Then, in Focus Mode, head outside the shed and check out the left side. We are not talking about heading to the left side, but instead, check the left side of the shed while facing it.

There, you will see footprints. Go ahead, and you will find a piece of cloth. Interact with it and then inspect it. After that, rotate the banner, and you will see blood on it. Inspect the blood.

Then, exit investigation mode and head back to the footprints. There, you will see another highlighted thing, so inspect it, and you will get another hint.

Talk To Alois

Now head back to where Gremla is and talk to the NPC standing on the left side. As you talk to him, you will get two options. We selected the first one and then followed up with the first option again.

Now, you can leave without selecting that option, but it does give you a hint of who to talk to first.

So, now you have to talk to Otokar.

Talk To Otokar

Before you head to Otokar, go to the left side of the area, and you will see some soldiers. There, you will see a path going up on the right side. Go there and use Focus Mode on the house on the left side. Evzen will come out of there, so talk to him and you will get three options.

Select the second one, and he will also give you a name. That said, open the journal and select the objective Talk to Otokar, then make your way towards him.

Once you have done that, have a chat with him. It seems like he has injured his hand, so he is a suspect.

Select the first option and then follow up with the first option again, or you can select any of the other options. Then, your objective will update.

Again, head into the journal and select this quest to see where she is. When you have reached her, select the first option and then follow up with the first option.

Speak With Premysl

Now, change the objective again, which you can do by pressing the R3 button. So, now it is time to head to where Premysl is.

As you start a conversation with him, there are going to be several options to choose from. Select the first three options, and then you will get the main option of accusing Premysl of stealing.

So, select that option. Then, you can follow up with the other options, but ultimately, you will have to either ask him to return the banner or agree with him.

We recommend agreeing with him and telling Gremla that he has the banner, as this is going to be the better option.

He will then give you an amulet, and you have to now tell Gremla about it.

Report Premysl To Gremla Or Keep It A Secret

When you talk to Gremla, you will have three options. You can either tell her about Premysl, or you can simply lie. That said, we went with the first option.

You will then get a reward from her, and with that, the Blasphemy quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker will come to an end.

So, with that, you also have your answer on how to save Gremla in The Blood of Dawnwalker. Now that you have resolved the issue, she will not be killed in the Mass.
