The Second Security Door

After coming out of the Tesla Memory, you’ll see another security door ahead of you.

Check the note attached to the board. Then click on the wooden board so that it falls off. You can now get a better look at the machine.
The main lock is attached to a device that’s plotting the flow of current on paper. Above it, you can see some blocks that you can move around. Some of the blocks have different waveforms engraved on them. Moving the blocks on the grid also moves an indicator below the copper coil on the right, which also changes the size of the wave that’s being plotted.

To solve this puzzle, you’ll have to make sure the size of the wave that’s being plotted is the same as the one you see on the black section right next to it.

The above image shows the correct position of blocks that you’ll need to replicate to solve the puzzle.

The first red bulb beside the door turns green, and you can now work with the bottom section of the machine. You’ll also note that the waveform on the black section is different.
In the bottom section, you can see four buttons, each pointing to a different direction. You can click the buttons to change their direction. The base idea is the same as before. Make sure the plotted waveform is the same as the one shown on the black screen.

To solve this puzzle, the top-left button needs to point towards bottom left, the top-right button needs to point to bottom right, the bottom-left button points to bottom left, and the bottom-right button has to point to bottom left. The image above shows you the solution.

This deactivates the second lock and turns the second bulb green. There’s a third waveform that you need to recreate using both the top and bottom sections of the machine.

Check the two images above to know the solution to this puzzle. The final bulb turns green, and you can now head through it to proceed higher up the tower.
Tesla Memory #2

You’ll eventually reach the top floor of the tower. There are a bunch of things to do here. But before anything else, walk towards the aura coming from the device on the far side of the room.

It’s a metallic statue of Anubis. Interact with it to enter the second Tesla Memory for the chapter.

Watch the cutscene and choose “Egypt” as the answer to the first quiz. You’ll eventually find yourself in a darkened Egyptian exhibit with a Fuse in your inventory.
The first thing to do quite clearly is to turn the light on. Double-click the center of the room to find yourself heading toward a Fuse Box at the back. Twist the lid and pull it out to access the fuse board.

Remove the burned fuse and replace it with the one you have in your inventory.

It will trigger another cutscene where you see Tesla getting trapped inside the exhibit. Choose “Open” as the answer to the second quiz.

When the cutscene ends, you’ll find yourself looking at the locked door of the exhibit. There’s a strange keyhole on the wall. To complete this flashback, you need to find the key to the door.

Look at the floor on the right side of the door. Interact with the object to take a closer look at it. Pick it up to collect the Stone Fragment.
The Large Stone Tablet

Turn around and head toward the large stone tablet in the middle of the exhibit. The bowl on the left in the central section of the tablet looks incomplete. Use the Stone Fragment with it to complete it.

This shifts the position of the bowls and also opens the mouth of Anubis on the left. Take a closer look at it.

Pick up the Decorative Ornament.

As soon as you do that, another section pops open on the belly of the hieroglyph.

Pick up the small Moon Disc. You can’t do anything with the monkey statue at the moment.

Back away from the tablet for now and look at the statue of the Pharaoh sitting on his throne on the right.

Take a closer look at the arm ring on its right hand. You’ll see a slot for the Decorative Ornament that you just picked up.

Insert it into the slot to unlatch the arm ring. Pull it to the side to reveal a combination lock underneath.

You can move the three dials in the lock horizontally. Rotate the dials so that they form the image above.

This unlocks the Ankh in the arm ring, and you can pick it up.

Return to the stone tablet and check the scepter of Anubis on the left.

Place the Ankh at the crown of the scepter to open a hidden panel on the tablet.

Take a closer look at the board that just unlocked. You can see four white tiles on the board with unique engravings on them. There’s an image in red at the top middle section of the grid. The star ornaments on the board rotate the white tiles along the circle. But you can move the tiles freely along the grid.

Your goal is to use the star ornaments to align the white tiles and then position them over the image in red so that they line up perfectly.

Pick up the Eye Ornament once you solve the puzzle.

With the Eye Ornament, return to the statue of the pharaoh and place the Eye Ornament on the left eye socket of the statue. This unlocks a panel at the base of the statue. Take a closer look at it.

This is a labyrinth puzzle where your goal is to take the moon ornament from the top to the bottom section across the maze. It’s a pretty self-explanatory puzzle.

This is the path we took to solve it.

After clearing the maze, click on the moon to collect the Crescent Handle.

Inspect the Crescent Handle in your inventory. Rotate the base of the two pillars so that they align with the symbol on the upper part.

This unlocks the latch at the top. Pull on the latch and click on the top component to get the Crescent.
Statue of Sobek

Look directly opposite the statue of the pharaoh to find another metallic statue. This one is of the Egyptian Deity Sobek. Move towards it and take a closer look at its headpiece.

Place the Crescent in the empty slot. The headpiece will rotate to one side and reveal a puzzle underneath it.

This is a very easy puzzle. You need to change the position of the stone marbles so that the three white marbles are sitting on the three white tiles on the right, while the three black marbles are sitting on the three black tiles on the left.
The video above shows you how we solved this puzzle. You’ll hear a click, and the snakes on the two sides of the crown will shift slightly.

Click on the snake and pull it down. Then pick up the item inside the headpiece to collect the Pyramid.

Take a closer look at the Pyramid in your inventory. You’ll notice that different sections of the Pyramid are of a different color. On top of that, you can rotate the edge of each section of the Pyramid to shift the tiles.

Your goal here is to rotate the tiles so that each side of the Pyramid is a uniform color.

Once you line up the tiles properly, the block in the middle of the black side pops out. Click on it to collect the Thoth Seal.

Return to the stone tablet and look at the hieroglyph of Khonsu on the right side. You can spot a slot that looks almost like the Thoth Seal you just picked up.

Use the Thoth Seal on the empty slot, and the panel will shift, revealing a puzzle underneath it.
You can move the see a symbol imprinted above the grid. The three silver pieces and the Red Gem can be positioned to recreate the symbol. However, you can’t move the silver pieces directly. You can only change the position of the Red Gem along the grid. If it’s locked at the center of one of the silver pieces, you can move the Red Gem to move them both together.
Watch the video above for the solution to this puzzle. Solving the puzzle unlocks a hidden compartment. Pick up the Animal Head.
Back away from the tablet for now.
The Nile Exhibit

The area has two exhibits, but only the one on the right can be accessed at the moment. Head inside the exhibit room.

Check the large table at the center of the room.
There are three buttons with the symbol of a scorpion, an eye, and a flamingo. Clicking on them moves the three green boats along the specified path until they reach an intersection. You’ll also notice some stranded green boats in different parts of the river. When your boats pass by them, the stranded boats join up with your fleet.

Your goal is to move the boat through the river so that it picks up all the stranded boats and then exits to the open sea. If you mess up, press the big golden button on the bottom left to reset the board.

To solve this puzzle, press the following buttons in the exact sequence:
Eye | Flamingo | Flamingo | Flamingo | Eye | Flamingo | Flamingo | Flamingo | Flamingo | Scorpion | Flamingo | Eye | Scorpion

You can now pick up the item in the bottom right corner of the board. This is a Sandstone Block.

Next, head toward the model of the boat on the right. Place the Animal Head in your inventory on the other end of the boat. Twist it in place to lift the middle section of the boat.

Place the Sandstone Block in the middle compartment of the boat.

Pick up the Eye Ornament.

Return to the statue of the pharaoh and place the eye in the right socket. The statue will rise off its seat.

Pick up the Snake Head from the small compartment on the seat. Then head past the statue to get into the final exhibit with the sarcophagus
The Sarcophagus Exhibit

Inside the exhibit, you’ll notice another stone tablet. Take a closer look at it.
Note that you can check different sections of the tablet. The top of the tablet has the symbol of a blue bird with one blue dot under it. The middle part has the symbol of a blue feather with two blue dots, and the bottom part has the symbol of river with three blue dots under it.

There’s a hole in the central section of the table above the symbol of a scarab. Place the Moon Disc from your inventory into the slot. Then click on it again to zoom in.

You can click on the different sections of the disc to flip its color. Change the entire disc to blue and then flip only the left panel to yellow. This will unlock a hidden compartment under the disc.

Back away from the tablet for now and inspect the vase in the corner of the room.

You’ll notice that the first panel depicting a seed on a river is pressed in. Rotating the vase also shows you other panels that you can press.
To solve this puzzle, you need to press the panels in a specific order to show the growth cycle of the seed. Press the panels in the following order:
- Seed on a small river above the ground.
- The sprouting seed
- The thin tree with a half-circle on top
- The tree with no fruit
- The tree full of fruit

You’ll hear a click, and the lid of the vase will pop up. Rotate the lid to open it.

Pull the right-side handle of the vase down to lift the head statue out of the vase.

Note that the statue has an empty slot.

Inspect the Snake Head in your inventory. Drag the two sections to its side to complete the item and turn it into the Cobra Head.

Place the Cobra Head in the slot of the statue.

Click on the statue to look at its back. Pick up the item to collect the Sandstone Tablet.

Note that there’s a closed sarcophagus in the exhibit with a slot on its chest. We can’t open it at the moment.
Opening the Sarcophagus

Head out of the exhibit and return to the large stone tablet in the main room. Take a closer look at the monkey statue with the combination lock in its hand.

Set the first dial to bird, the second dial to feather, and the third dial to river, as seen in the smaller tablet inside the sarcophagus exhibit.

You’ll hear a click and the monkey will rotate, revealing an item on its back. Pick up the Ceramic Wings.

Return to the Goat Boat in the Nile exhibit and take a closer look at the statue of Sobek from inside the exhibit.

You’ll notice 9 stone tiles depicting Sobek. Use the Sandstone Tablet on the empty slot at the bottom.

The tablet falls off, and you can now move the tiles along the grid.

Check the image above and move the tiles around to replicate it.

This will cause the statue of Sobek to drop the item in its hand. Pick it up to collect the Flail, and inspect the statue of the pharaoh.

Place the Flail in the empty slot on its hand. The statue stands upright, revealing another hidden compartment on its chest.

Inspect the compartment and pick up the item inside to collect the Statuette of Osiris.

Return to the sarcophagus exhibit and inspect the stone tablet. Place the Statuette of Osiris in the empty slot at the center panel. Pick up the item that just fell off to collect the Scarab.

Now inspect the sarcophagus in the room. Place the Winged Scarab in the slot on its chest. As it shifts, you can then place the Scarab on it.

This reveals a panel near the foot of the sarcophagus. Take a closer look at it.

The panel reveals a grid with eight stone blocks with four unique symbols. Some of the stone blocks can be moved along the grooves, but three of the blocks are fixed. You need to make two identical sets of four symbols in a row to solve this puzzle.

Check the image above for reference. The order of the stone blocks would be: River, Cat, Eye, and Snake.

Solving the puzzle immediately opens the sarcophagus. Pick up the item on the chest of the mummy to collect the Stone Heart.

Return to the large stone tablet on the main exhibit. Take a closer look at the left bowl of the center section. Place the Stone Heart in the empty slot.

Pick up the item in the right bowl to collect the Stone Feather.

Head to the main door of the exhibit and place the Stone Feather on the strange keyhole that you saw at the beginning. It fits perfectly, and the door lifts open, completing the Tesla Memory.
The Top of the Tower

When you return to the tower, take a moment to look around the area. There are a few notes that you can collect.

Once you’re done exploring, check the control panel near the railing near the stairs that you came out of.

Pulling the levers moves a camera along a track suspended above the room. Pull the Lever on the right and keep holding it till one part of the track falls off.

At this point, turn on your Tesla Prototype and interact with the electric field on the left.

Connect the camera to the two nodes right below it. This will power the telescope and push it forward.

Head towards the telescope and interact with it to look through the scope.

When looking through the scope, you can move the camera to look at the different sections. You’ll notice a node with red lights flickering around it. Point the scope directly at it, and the lights will stop flashing. After a brief moment, the node will flip, and another nearby node will start flashing.

Continue moving your telescope around, tracking down the nodes with flashing lights. Once you track down four nodes, the motor behind you will unlock. Collect the Electric Motor Part from it.

Return to the panel controlling the suspended camera and hold the right lever again. The camera will drop down into the small chamber in the room. The door to the chamber will also unlock.

Head towards the chamber and go inside.
The Darkroom

As you enter the chamber, you’ll see that it’s a darkroom used for developing photos.

Turn left to spot a small lever on the wall. Activating it brings the suspended camera down inside the room. Take a closer look at it.

You’ll notice a strange locking mechanism, preventing you from opening the camera to take a look at the negatives. There’s a crank at the top that you can spin to rotate the silver gear at the center. The silver gear rotates any two golden gears at the same time. Clicking on one of the three golden gear moves a pin that disconnects a gear, while activating the other two.

To solve this puzzle, you need to rotate the three golden gears so that the indent on them is pointing at the latch on their sides. Here are the steps to do that:
- Push the left golden gear and rotate the crank two turns counterclockwise.
- Push the right golden gear and rotate the crank three turns clockwise.
- Push the bottom golden gear and rotate the crank one turn counterclockwise.

This unlocks the latch. Pull it down to open the camera. Pick up the Film Reel from inside.

Insert the Film Reel into the empty slot on the device, right next to the lever.

You can click one of the buttons on the Film Reel to turn it green and press the big button on the device to start developing the negatives. But there’s no point doing it at the moment. First, you need to mix the chemicals.

Turn toward the table and take a closer look at the device with the three bottles of acids.

You can rotate the nozzles of the acid bottles to fill up the container with a solution. However, to develop the negatives correctly, you need to use the right balance of acids. There’s a slider at the center of the device that will help you see the correct mixture of acidity.

Your goal is to line up the indicators at the top and the bottom. If you fill up the container with the wrong acidic mixture, the chemicals will spill into the drain. You can only mix four parts of chemicals in total.

To solve the puzzle, mix the acids in the following ratio:
- NaOH: 1 turn
- H2SO4: 1 turn
- NaOH: 1 turn
- NH3: 1 turn

When you’re done, inspect the device again, and pull the handle on the left to slide the bottles to the other side, above the container on the left. You need to mix the acids in the second container now. Note that the indicators have also changed.

For the second container, here’s the ratio:
- H2SO4: 1 turn
- NH3: 1 turn
- H2SO4: 2 turns

When you’re done mixing the acids, interact with the Film Reel and start developing the photos. You can develop all the images if you want, but the only picture that matters is the third one from the top in the photo reel.

This image shows the person who trapped you in the Egyptian tomb in the Tesla Memory inserting a receiver into a device that you’ve seen on the top floor of the tower. You’ll also see an entry for it in the notebook.
The Elevator

Walk out of the dark room and turn right to find the device that you saw in the photo. You need to figure out a way to power it.

Insert the Electric Motor Part from your inventory into the device.

Turn on your Tesla Prototype and interact with the electrical field. Then connect the node from the darkroom to the device and the crane on the suspended track above.

Return to the control panel for the track and pull the right lever. Take the cart to the position marked in the image above.

Return to the electrical field and connect the remaining nodes.

Head towards the lever in front of the locked gate in the area. Activate the lever to call the elevator.

Get on the elevator and pull the lever to head down.

Head towards the big door to complete the chapter.
