The Incident at Galley House Walkthrough – 06 Study

Welcome to our Incident at Galley House walkthrough.

In Part 6, John returns to the Study to speak with Thornton, who confirms that the victim is Rupert Galley and explains that the Chapel key found beside the body likely belonged to him. Thornton recounts his movements throughout the evening, revealing that he has been in the Kitchen since the early part of the timeline and was only called away by Damian after the body was discovered. Although the scene doesn’t directly reveal John’s next destination, it provides enough clues to unlock the Kitchen location, obtain Page 2 of the manual, and continue the investigation by replaying Thornton’s earlier movements.

For the next scene, John goes back to the Study. So the code would be 06-ST-1-11. Person 11 is Thornton.

06 Study – 06-ST-1-11

You will find Thornton here. Things to note here –

Thornton is preparing the study for John to stay in and he has been in the Kitchen since John last saw him at Quail Lane.

Someone else came in after John. A drunk woman came into the kitchen after the second guest arrived after John. It is unknown if this drunk woman came in after John.

After John broke the bottle in the Study, a second guest went into the Kitchen.

Mr. Maseko, Damian (as he was told by Martha to go get Thornton) came into the kitchen and told Thornton to take care of the man in the study.

Thornton seems to know who Mr. Rupert Galley is, as he claims the Chapel key John found earlier must have slipped out of Rupert’s pocket. Rupert apparently was a pious man, who went to the Chapel often.

Thornton claims the man who had passed away in the study was Mr. Rupert Galley.

He asks John to hand the Chapel key to Oswald as he makes his way back to the kitchen.

The scene then ends with seemingly no path forward, as it is not mentioned where John goes next.

But we do know that a location is the Kitchen, the code for which should be KI. We also know Thornton has been in the Kitchen since scene 2 or Timeline 2. So the code should be 02-KI-11. Back at the machine you can pick up Page 2 of the manual which has 3 incomplete codes.
