Mission 13 – Homebound Interception

As you start the 13th mission in the game, we recommend either choosing the machine gun or the sniper. We went with the former, as it can one-shot almost all of the enemies in this area. There are plenty of buildings throughout the battlefield, so you will not have any trouble finding cover while fighting the enemies.
However, do not let them get too close to you. If they do manage to close the distance, keep moving around the area. There are going to be enemies that shoot star-shaped projectiles toward you. These aliens also move in a vertical manner, so do not waste your bullets on them. Instead, wait for them to stay in one place before taking your shot.
There are going to be a few waves of aliens in this area, but the most dangerous one is going to be the final wave, of course. The enemies will spawn very close to each other, so when you see the spawn indicator, immediately run to the other side and take out as many of them as you can.
If the enemies get close to you, simply rotate around the buildings to reach the other side and take care of the remaining threats.
Mission 14 – Reinvasion From Above

For now, there is no need for upgrades, so simply head into the battlefield. It is better if you choose the sniper here. The enemies are going to spawn very far away from you, so staying in the same place and using the sniper will allow you to take care of the enemies easily.
Do note that once you have taken care of the first wave of enemies, the laser enemies will spawn next. Make sure to stay in cover and shoot them with charged shots.
Take care of the next wave, and then the one after that is going to be a little more challenging because it will feature a massive enemy. Run to the opposite side of where the enemies spawn and take down the smaller ones first. Then perform charged shots on the larger enemy, and it will go down easily.
Once you have defeated it, the mission will be completed.
Mission 15 – Stop The Landfall

Before you head into the battlefield, do note that this is going to be a boss fight, and you should select the machine gun for this encounter. There is going to be a massive caterpillar-type boss that will shoot lasers toward you. Other than that, many smaller enemies will also spawn to attack you.
Shooting the boss will not have any effect at first, as it likely will not take any damage. There are going to be other enemies that spawn in, so take care of them first. Do note that the smaller laser enemies are also going to appear during the battle.
The other enemies are going to be far away from you, but if you ignore them, some of them can close the distance quickly. Also, while you are focusing on the smaller enemies, keep an eye on the boss, as it can still perform its laser attacks.
Mission 16 – Harbor Raid

In this mission, the enemies are going to be very close to each other. They will spawn right next to one another most of the time. Therefore, the best choice in this area is going to be the machine gun. That is because you will be able to spray bullets into groups of enemies and take care of several of them at the same time.
There are not going to be many waves, but do note that there will be a large number of enemies. Since the enemies will be close to each other most of the time, using the machine gun will make this mission significantly easier.
Mission 17 – The Behemoth

This mission is going to be a little different from the others, as you will spawn in with a special weapon. This weapon is going to be really good, as it is a dual weapon with 16 bullets. This area will feature the boss again, but you still will not be able to deal damage to it right away.
So instead, focus on defeating the enemies. After taking care of the first wave, wait for the second wave to spawn. Defeating them with this weapon will be a joke, as it is going to be incredibly easy. So take care of all of them and try to shoot the boss’s head every now and then, as you will eventually be able to damage it.
Once you are able to damage it, keep shooting continuously, and it will begin to break apart. Then, shortly afterward, it will transform and start shooting lasers at you. Simply run to the other side while firing at the boss, and you will not have any trouble. You can also use the buildings for cover, but since the weapon reloads very quickly, you likely will not need to.
Continue attacking while avoiding the boss’s attacks, and the fight will be over very quickly. Once you have defeated the boss, a cutscene will commence. When it ends, you will be able to unlock more gear.
Mission 18 – Mutants Emerge

We recommend selecting the sniper in this area. As you spawn into the battlefield, you will have to travel to the other side of the map. Pick up the gun, take care of the enemies, and then a new type of enemy will spawn. Shooting them with the sniper can be a challenge because they move around a lot.
So what you need to do is wait for them to attack you. If you keep moving, their attacks will not hit you, and while they are attacking, you will have a chance to shoot them. Once you have taken care of them, new enemies will spawn. All of them will be very far away from you, so you will be able to take them down with charged shots from the sniper.
Mission 19 – Cursed Background

This mission is going to be perhaps the most difficult one so far. It may seem like the sniper is the right choice for it, but it is not. Select the machine gun, as it will be the most helpful weapon in this mission. That is because many of the enemies will close the distance from the sides, so shooting them down with the machine gun is going to be much easier.
Taking care of the laser enemies can be a bit challenging, but you can shoot them down after closing the distance slightly. There are going to be many different types of enemies as you progress through this area, so things are going to become quite chaotic.
Even if you die, do not worry, as you will come back right away. That said, you will not have unlimited attempts, so be careful. Spray your machine gun into groups of enemies and focus on clearing out the weaker targets first. Leave the caterpillar-looking enemies for last, as they will be the tankiest opponents in the mission.
Once you have defeated all of them, the mission will be over. At that point, it may seem like you still have to defeat the boss. However, you do not have to do anything else. Simply let the boss move to the other side of the area, and the mission will come to an end.
Mission 20 – Thunder God’s Wrath

Select the sniper for this mission, as that is going to be the best choice. Before heading into the battlefield, it is better to unlock some upgrades. Check out the different upgrades available and customize your loadout according to your preference.
Then head into the battlefield. The enemies will spawn quite far away from you, so by using the sniper, you will be able to take them down easily. Once you have taken care of the first wave, the next wave will spawn, so shift your focus to the enemies that are on the ground.
They can easily close the distance and may seem like trouble. However, if you shoot them without opening the scope, you will be fine. You may also notice lasers being fired toward you. You cannot do anything about those, as they are coming from the spaceship.
The next wave can be quite chaotic, so stay in cover and take down one enemy at a time. Then, the wave that comes afterward will be a bit more troublesome. The enemies will not go down in a single shot, even with the sniper, so you will have to rely on charged shots. This is going to be the final wave, so once you have defeated all of the enemies, the mission will be over.
Mission 21 – Whirlwind Of Death

Select the machine gun for this mission. As you step onto the battlefield, you will have to go all the way to the other side to pick up your weapon. The enemies that spawn are going to be the flamethrower type, so simply run past them, grab the weapon, and then start spraying bullets.
Then, the enemies that stay on the ground will spawn. The machine gun will make dealing with them much easier, so take them out as well. The next wave is going to be a mix of the first two. Take care of the flamethrower enemies first and then spray down the ones on the ground.
Even if they get close to you, do not worry as long as you keep moving. The next wave will spawn at the very end of the map. These enemies will not shoot projectiles. Instead, they will attack you with an extension of their body that can reach surprisingly far.
Get close to them and then open fire. They jump around a lot, so you will have to be more accurate with your aim. Once you have defeated all of them, the mission will be over.
Mission 22 – Fiery Defense

This time, you will not be alone, as you will have a teammate accompanying you. Due to that, the fight will not be that difficult. Select the machine gun and take care of the first wave. The second wave will not be that bad either, as there are mostly going to be enemies on the ground.
The next two phases are also going to be fairly easy. However, do not stay in a single place while shooting the enemies, as the ones firing lasers have very accurate aim. The fourth wave can be a bit troublesome, but the enemies spawn very close to each other.
So blind spraying can work here as well. Take care of the larger enemies first and then focus on the rest. That is going to be the final wave, and while it may sound easy on paper, the fight itself can be exhausting because there are simply too many enemies. As a result, having more lives can be very helpful here.
Once you have defeated all of the enemies, a cutscene will commence.
Mission 23 – Assault On The Mothership

As the mission starts, you will ride a rocket onto the spaceship. Once you land, you will be equipped with the dual weapon. Your objective is to defeat all of the hexagon-shaped objects. The enemies that spawn are not the real targets. However, you will still have to take them down.
That said, once you destroy a hexagon, the other enemies connected to it will disappear as well. So try to rush toward the hexagons and destroy them quickly. The hexagons are going to be marked for you, so take down each one and then head toward the middle of the area.
Shoot the object in the center, and it will reveal a brain. You need to shoot the brain constantly, but do note that additional enemies will spawn throughout the fight. That said, if you keep moving in one direction while continuously firing at the brain, you may not have to deal with the enemies at all. However, if the enemies get too close to you, then you should take them down first.
Also, the brain shoots projectiles toward you, but if you keep moving in a circular pattern, none of them should hit you.
Mission 24 – Into The Inferno

Select the machine gun as your weapon for this area. Take down the first wave of enemies and then step into the zone that will teleport you to the next area. The enemies are going to spawn north of your position, and they will all be grouped together, so using the machine gun here is the better option.
Once you have taken care of all of them, the next zone will appear. Head there to teleport to the next area. This is going to be a boss fight, so start shooting the section where the rocket has been damaged. Eventually, a massive explosion will occur, and several enemies will spawn.
There are going to be a lot of them, so things can become very chaotic. Take down the larger enemy first and then focus on the rest. Once you have defeated all of the enemies, the zone will appear again, so head inside to teleport.
Now, when you reach the next area, run north immediately, as the next zone is already active. Ignore the enemies and keep running. You do not have to defeat a single enemy to use the zone.
Mission 25 – Hand Me Down

Now you will have to fight one of your teammates, so the first weapon is going to be the most effective choice here. You can also choose the shotgun. This fight will not be particularly difficult. Just keep moving and shooting, and you should not get hit very often. Avoid the areas where she lands after jumping, as her jump attack has an area-of-effect impact.
After defeating her, approach her and take the weapon. Once you have done that, the brain will appear, but it will be protected by a shield, so you will not be able to damage it right away. Take care of the enemies first, and since you have unlimited ammunition, simply keep firing.
One enemy, your teammate, will be directly linked to the brain, so you will need to focus more damage on her. Take care of the other enemies as well, and when the shield finally dissipates, open fire on the brain. Do not stop shooting, and you will finish this fight easily.
Once the brain has been defeated, head over to your teammate and the mission will be completed. After a final cutscene, the game will come to an end, bringing Part 2 of the complete walkthrough for The Last Salvage Squad to a close.
