In The Liar Princess And The Blind Prince, you play the role of a princess who has to help the blind prince through the dark forest and take him to the witch’s hut to heal his eyes. The dark forest is full of dangers and puzzles, and you’ll have to work together with the blind prince to find a way forward.

Prologue And Castle Sylvan
As the game begins, you’ll see the prologue, as well as the story of the wolf, who accidentally ends up harming the prince’s eyes as he climbs up the cliff. She does so because she’s afraid that the prince might find out that the song he applauds every night is sung by her, who is actually a beast.
After losing his eyes, the prince is locked up inside the castle by the royalty. The wolf goes to see him but is unable to confront him. She then heads back to the forest to talk to the witch.
The witch turns the wolf into a princess, giving her the ability to transform into a wolf anytime she wishes to navigate the dangers of the dark forest. In return, the witch takes what the wolf treasured the most, her singing voice.
Now, you’ll arrive back at the castle. Make your way to the prince’s cell. You’ll have to destroy the gate in wolf form, and then approach the prince in the princess form.
The princess will then tell the prince to come with her to the dark forest and meet the witch, as she might be able to fix his eyes, and that is where the actual gameplay begins.
The Forest Of No Entry
The Forest of No Entry is the first chapter and has a total of four stages. The last stage of this area has a flower, and you’ll have to solve a puzzle to get to it.
Stage 1 – Dappled Sunlight Trail
As you start, walk straight to the right. There’s an enemy here, and you’ll have to turn into a wolf to defeat it. The path ahead is straightforward. You have to keep going and defeat any enemy that you encounter in wolf form.
Drop off the ledge ahead. You’ll find a few petals on the left, but to progress, you’ll have to go to the right. As you’re going right, you’ll encounter another ledge that you can jump on.
Here, you can turn into the wolf and jump up on the ledges. You’ll find some petals here. Keep going right with the prince to progress. There will be a bunch of enemies ahead. Defeat them, and you’ll be able to enter the next stage.
Stage 2 – Radiant Floral Colony
There’s a lift that is stuck down below with a lever on the other side. You can get on the lift and jump off the cliff by turning into a wolf.
Once you’re up, turn into the princess and interact with the lever to raise the lift. You’ll then be able to take the prince with you.
Next, there’s a seesaw wooden log. There are a bunch of enemies on the other side, so turn into a wolf and go on ahead to clear the path, and then take the prince with you.
As you progress ahead, there’s a plate here that you can step on. Make the prince stand on the lift and then step on the plate. This will activate the lift ahead. Get on the lift in your wolf form and keep going.
Shortly ahead, you’ll encounter a collapsing platform. You have to stand on it, alongside the prince, and activate the wolf form. This will cause the platform to break, and you’ll be able to move ahead.
There’s a seesaw log ahead, but you’ll have to jump on it in wolf form. It’s difficult to get the prince on it before the log starts going up again. Make the prince stand at the edge of the log, and then hold his hand while staying on the log. You’ll be able to get up on top of the log this way.
There are two plates ahead. You have to make the prince stand on one, and get on top of the other one yourself. The lift will be activated.
Next, you’ll encounter another seesaw log, but there’s a locked path ahead. You’ll need a key to progress. Make the prince stand on the rightmost edge of the seesaw log.
The left edge of the log will go up. You can turn into a wolf and jump on the ledge towards the left. There’s a box here, and you’ll have to attack it as a wolf. You’ll find the key inside and will be able to get ahead.
There are some ledges further left of the wooden box. You’ll find some petals here. But to progress, you’ll have to go right and unlock the locked gate with the key, and you’ll be able to get to the next stage.
Stage 3 – Sleeping Turtle’s Nest
As you enter, the prince will be ambushed by a small monster. The princess manages to save him, but the prince is troubled. You’ll have to pick up the nearby flower.
Once you pick up the flower, return to the prince and give it to him. As you walk ahead, there’s a tiny pathway. Make sure you go and walk ahead alone first because there’s an enemy here, and you won’t be able to turn into a wolf inside the tiny pathway.
Take the lift ahead. There’s a path to the left where you can find a petal. Go right. There’s a collapsing platform with a turtle on it. You’ll have to hold the prince’s hand and jump on the turtle’s back. If you step on the platform, it will break.
Shortly ahead, you’ll encounter a dead end with a lift that doesn’t work. There’s a ledge on the left, but you can only jump on it in wolf form. You’ll find a switch here. Activate the switch, and the lift will start working, and you’ll be able to go ahead.
Once the lift goes up, you can pick a petal from the left ledge. If you go right, you’ll encounter the collapsing platform. Stand on it with the prince and turn into a wolf to break the platform. Go down.
There’s a collapsing platform here with two turtles. You have to jump from one turtle to the other to get to the other side. Keep going down, and you’ll encounter another group of enemies. Defeat them, and you can go to the next stage.
Stage 4 – Hanging Moss Curtain
In this stage, you’ll shortly encounter a collapsing platform. Here, you’ll learn how to ask the prince to walk certain distances by himself. Stand near the edge of the platform and press the corresponding key while holding the prince’s hand.
This will open up an interface where you can select if you want the prince to walk forward or backwards. Select to walk forward, and you’ll see the location where he’ll stop. Make sure the line is on the other side of the collapsing platform.
Once the prince walks over to the other side, you can then cross the platform by yourself. There’s a lift ahead. Make the prince stand on the lift, and then go and step on the plate with the princess. This will cause the lift to go up and down.
Step off the plate once the lift reaches the ledge. Jump on the lift in your wolf form and hold the prince’s hand to progress ahead.
You’ll find a turtle on the collapsing platform next. Jump on the turtle’s back. Keep holding the prince’s hand, and jump on the platform as the turtle comes near it. If you don’t jump, you might fall and will have to redo this part.
There are a few enemies ahead. Turn into a wolf and clear the path for the prince. After that, you’ll come across a collapsing platform. Before you ask the prince to walk over it by himself, go and defeat the enemy on the other side of the platform.
As you go ahead, you’ll encounter a path blocked by a raised lift. There are two switches here. You have to ask the prince to step on the plate that’s at the bottom.
Once the prince is on the plate, you’ll have to go and stand on the plate above. This will cause the lift to go down and open the path. There’s another collapsing platform ahead. You’ll have to break it to progress ahead.
As you move ahead, you’ll encounter a lift. This lift will take you to the ledge, and here, there’s another lift. Once you stand on the second lift, you’ll notice that there’s a ledge on both left and right sides.
Make the prince stand on the right ledge safely. Now, turn into a wolf and jump on the ledge to the left of the lift. Here, you’ll find a den of monsters. You can defeat them, but they’ll keep spawning from the den.
You’ll find a flower to the left. Once you pick up the flower, you lose the ability to turn into a wolf. You’ll have to run across the path without coming in contact with any of the enemies. Jump from the ledge to the lift, and then to the right ledge where the prince is.
Give the flower to the prince and go right. There are two lifts here. There’s also a plate on a collapsing platform below. You have to stand on the first lift and ask the prince to walk ahead; this will cause him to drop down to the plate below.
This will cause the first lift to go up, and you’ll be able to jump on the ledge above. From here, you have to turn into a wolf and drop down, because if you drop as a princess, you’ll have to redo the part again.
Once you’re down, stand on the second plate, and this will cause the second lift to go down, and you’ll be able to reunite with the prince. After that, go ahead, and you’ll be able to get to the next chapter.
