The NOexistenceN Of Morphean Paradox – Walkthrough Part 2

The NOexistenceN of Morphean Paradox Walkthrough

The NOexistenceN of Morphean Paradox takes you to the Forest of Silver Shallots, where a mysterious yet familiar figure named Lilith stays by your side. After losing your memories and a ton of unanswered questions, you’ve become a Guildmaster and must now recruit suitable candidates to stop your guild from getting dissolved. For more information on the game, don’t forget to visit its official Steam page here.

The Guild

Now that you’ve established a guild, you’ll be able to train with your fellow guildmates. It’s just Lilith here yet, so you’ll soon have to go out and recruit more members.

You can also access the world map from here to dispatch for commissions, enhance the stats or skills of your allies using the Roles book, or rest to restore your stamina.

Every day at dusk, your guildmembers will ask to prepare a dish for you, or you can prepare one by yourself. The Amber Scale merchant may also show up at your door with items in the morning, which you can purchase according to your needs.

What you have to do now is open the map and select Marigold Town. Here, you’ll see several quests, but only two are important. From Veritas and The Hunter of Marigold Town.

From Veritas

If you select the From Veritas event, you’ll encounter Sartre shortly. This young lady comes from a foreign land and is a tech genius. As you arrive in the area, you see Sartre being troubled by some thugs.

She uses her newly built weapons to dismiss the thugs, but the commotion causes the guards to arrive. They question her about her weapons, asking for a legal permit, but Sartre seems to have lost it.

Sartre then notices you and says that she belongs in your guild, just to get out of trouble. Here, you can accept or decline. I chose the option to accept. However, the guards took the Guildmaster and Sartre both to prison.

The Prison

In the prison, Sartre asks why you decided to help her at the time. I picked the first option, where the Guildmaster says that he came here for her, which leads Sartre to ask you a few questions. She says she’ll join you, depending on your answers.

In the first question, Sartre asks if her research defined her or not. I selected the option saying that the research doesn’t define her.

For the second question, Sartre asks if her research is used for unintended purposes, what should she do? Here, I answered that she should do as she pleases.

As the conversation continues, a guard will arrive shortly after, claiming that someone had come to vouch for your two. It’s Lilith, always so reliable!

Recruiting Sartre

Sartre seems to know Lilith and says that she saw her at the service center earlier. After leaving the prison, Sartre is curious about you and your unique situation.

You can ask several things from Sartre, but she doesn’t seem to know anything about the Morphean Paradox. After the conversation, you’ll be able to welcome her to your party.

The Hunter Of Marigold

The Hunter of Marigold quest becomes available in Marigold Town alongside the From Veristas quest. Lilith had told you that Green hasn’t been doing well financially and has resorted to doing odd jobs for cash.

Furthermore, it appears that Green is a former Griffin soldier, so it would be nice to have someone on the guild who knows the area well.

Just as you’re about to look for the archer, you feel a tug on your shirt. It’s a little girl. She appears to be just a girl in need, as she asks for your help to search for something. However, something is unsettling here.

She’s looking for her necklace. You’ll be able to ask her a few questions or agree to help her. I decided to look into her eyes, but failed the check. In an instant, you feel yourself drained, complying with her every command as if you were hypnotised.

The Shapeshifter

Shortly after, the girl shows her true colors, transforming into a shapeshifter. You’ll then enter the battle with the Shapeshifter.

You can’t seem to deal any damage to it, but after a turn, Green will show up to help you out. Green informs you that physical attacks won’t work on the shapeshifter, so you’ll have to rely on magic.

He then does something to the shapeshifter that allows physical attacks to deal damage to it. Once you’ve defeated it, the shapeshifter will run and disappear into an alley.

You don’t know the person who has saved you is Green Roland himself. You two will then have a conversation regarding the nature of the shapeshifter and the current situation of Marigold Town. Green then introduces himself, and so do you, the Guildmaster.

Green’s Interview

Green is excited to see you. He’s looking for a guild to join. Seeing his enthusiasm, you start to act more like a Guildmaster and proceed to ask some questions.

One of the options is about his past, but the check percentage is quite low. Even if you fail, you can decide if you want to tell Green everything about yourself.

Despite knowing your circumstances, Green agrees to help you out and become a companion.

Hire Adventurers

In the Forgotten Swamps area on the map, you’ll get a quest called Hire Adventurers, stating that Fouco has been sighted near the area. This event became available after recruiting both Sartre and Green.

As you head to the area, you’ll notice tracks of multiple adventurers. According to Lilith’s information, Fouco preferred to work alone, so this couldn’t be her tracks.

Fouco Vs The Adventurers

Shortly ahead, you see a group of adventurers going up against Fouco. Fouco is extremely strong, but the adventurers have brought a crystal with them, and it is drastically suppressing Fouco’s power, as she is a demon.

One of the fireballs deflected by Fouco comes towards your direction. You can dodge it easily, but for some reason, I failed the check and ended up getting caught by flames.

Once that happened, the adventurers that belong to the Fang Guild quickly turned their attention towards the Guildmaster. You have a variety of options to pick from here. I picked the conservative option.

Fouco looks at you, reaching her hand forward. She says that she knew that you two would meet again. It appears that she remembers the Guildmaster, unlike the other companions.

Tricking The Adventurers

You’ll get a check for a strange emotion that you’re feeling after finding out that Fouco remembers you and might help you figure out what’s going on. Anyhow, the leader of the adventurers, Scarface, shouts at you.

You quickly turn to Fouco, asking what needs to be done to bring out her full strength. She asks you to destroy the pendant.

Now, you can choose to fight the adventurers head-on or choose to feign surrender. I chose the latter option, where the Guildmaster laid down his weapons and walked towards Scarface.

Once the adventurers think you’re really leaving and let their guard down, the Guildmaster rushes to Scarface, destroying the pendant and unleashing Fouco’s strength.

You’ll now have to battle against the adventurers. Fouco’s skills manipulate the formation of the enemies, while also dealing AOE damage to multiple units, making her an asset whenever you’re up against multiple opponents.

Gathering Information From Fouco

Once the battle has ended, Fouco is quite happy to see you. If you ask if she remembers you, she’ll clearly say yes. However, when the Guildmaster asks her his name, she’ll simply say that it’s the hero.

If you ask where you come from, Fouco doesn’t seem to know that as well. However, what Fouco does remember is that Lilith, Sartre, and Fouco were all good friends together. After some more questions, she’ll join your party and head to your guild building.

Completing The Registration Process For The Guild

After Fouco, Sartre, and Green have joined your party, you’ll have a total of five members, which is enough to meet the requirement from the service centre.

In the coming days, you’ll wake up to the fact that the deadline for the registration process is approaching quickly, so you and your squad will head out to the service centre.

As you arrive, you’ll notice that the Receptionist was just about to go out to your guild building to inform you of the approaching deadline.

Once you’re there, she’ll inform you that you do meet all the requirements, but there’s still a test of combat and general knowledge that you’ll have to take. However, she also informs you that you can skip the trivia if you so desire.

The Trivia

If you accept to take the trivia, the Receptionist will ask you what you’ll do if a monster is infected by the Dark Mist. Here, I selected the option to organize an evacuation.

The second question is about what you’ll do if an accident occurs during battle. I picked the option to cover the companions and retreat quickly.

For the last question, she asks who is your most cherished companion. I selected ‘everyone,’ and that resulted in the guild members getting quite happy and satisfied with the answer.

Battle Simulation

Shortly after the trivia, the Receptionist will use a device that will produce a combat simulation for you. This battle is going to be a little challenging, so you’ll have to be prepared.

You’ll be facing four soldiers who have 182 HP each. The recommended team comp includes: Guildmaster (Leader), Lilith, Sartre, and Fouco.

You can also assign Green as the leader for this battle, as his Leader Skill can be quite useful against several enemies lined up together, but he’s very fragile and can die easily.

Guild Registration Completed

After the battle, the Receptionist will give you a stamped handbook, officially accepting your guild into the system. Now that you’ve got a functioning guild and several members, you think if you should really find the Morphean Paradox or not.

Lilith senses your confusion and comes to offer comfort. You can choose to follow her or hold her back. I picked the option to follow her as she led the guild back to the building.

However, there’s still one member that you’ve yet to recruit, and that is Kallen Scarlet.
