The Plucky Squire Walkthrough – Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Tome Tower

As you grab on to the ledge of the cliff, you will be saved by Thrash. After the short reunion, follow Thrash to the ground. Drop down the platforms, avoiding the rolling stones and meet up with Thrash. Clear the bushes for currency and head to the right. Avoid the rocks and exit this page.

Kill the bull in the next page and pick up the art scroll from the trees near the lake.

Talk to Minibeard and enter the fenced area. Kill the bulls here and pick up the key. Go up through the gate and bring the key to the locked door.

Talk to Topsy in the next page. Next, pick up the word “Forest” and bring the word “Ruin” from the other side and place it on the dotted line. The area to the right will change.

Clear the ruins and at the very end you can find Topsy’s Biscuits. Go back to the word puzzle and change the ruins back to the forest. Pull the biscuits to the top corner and change it back to ruins.

Topsy will roll over, providing you with the key to exit this page. Talk to Martina in the next page and buy any of the upgrades you can afford.

Head up the stairs and you will see Tome Tower. Keep going up –  and to the left you can pick up another Art Scroll.

In the next page, avoid the lightning bolts and kill the slimes as you make your way to the right. On the top right, behind the wall you can find a Glitchbird.

Follow the path out of this page. On the next page, talk to the worm and then head down the stairs on the left. Drop down the dark cave and move to the left to find a secret passage and switch at the bottom – to let you through.

Make your way through the cave, kill the goblins and you will be out on the other side. On the next page, head to the left and then up to exit the page. On the next page, you will find a bunch of books on the floor. Head on up to the next page. In this page, you will find an art scroll on the far left.

If you get near the key on top, you will be ambushed by slimes. Kill them to exit the area with the key. Near the center of the page, kill the slimes and bring the key to the locked area on the right. Here, pick up the word “Scattered” and bring it back to the center and replace “Stacked”.

Now pick up the word “Stacked” and place it on the word puzzle on the right. Pull the stack of pages to the hole in the ground that’s hindering your progress.

Head on out and on to the next page. Eventually you will reach Tome Tower. After the cutscene plays out – head towards the top of the table and go up the paint tray.

Once you get to it, open the lid of the lunchbox and you will meet the worm, Page again. Pick up the carrot that rolled out of the lunch box. Go to the left and jump onto the page again through the portal. Give the carrot to the rabbit.

Head up the sketches and you will reach another sketch with a signpost next to it. You cannot get into this sketch yet. Go to the right and up the ledge with the ruler on it.

Cross the ruler and push the block down. Pull it to climb over and access the sketch. Exit on the other side and you will find Page again. Make your way through the maze and sneak past the beetle. Climb up the chalks and get to the dice. Pick it up the throw the dominoes down.

Pick up the dice again. Climb up and enter the next sketch. Place the dice on the pressure switch and head through. Sneak past the next set of beetles and drop down. You will find another beetle guarding the path. Wait for it to turn around and enter the sketch. Talk to Page again. Go past the sketchbook and you will see the dice that you need to get. Sneak past the beetles and enter the sketch at the end.

Exit the sketch and pick up the dice and bring it to the dominos. Throw them down and climb up. Pick up the Turn Gauntlets and head back to your book. Open it up and enter your story again.
