Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for The Precinct.

In this part, we go through the game, unlocking evidence on Dmitri Popov, the Underboss of the Crimson Serpent.
Day 5
The shift starts with you needing to speak to Detective Ferrera. Head to him now.

Talk to him about the Jawheads.

Next, report to Kowalksi for your shift. You will see that each shift has a duration set. My goal was to get evidence as quickly as possible, so I picked Patrol on foot.

If you go to Kavanaugh’s Bar, you can talk to Antonio for evidence on Poppov and the Crimson Serpent.

On patrol I found a drug deal going down and got evidence on the Jawheads.

Next I broke up a burglary.

Stopped another drug deal, got evidence on the Crimson Serpent.

Stopped a car jacking next.

Broke up a fight.

Stopped a counterfeit watch sale next and got more evidence on the Jawheads.

Stopped a huge shootout and got 2 more pieces of evidence on the Jawheads.

I finished the shift next, after handing in the evidence. I had 3 pieces of evidence on Dmitri Popov and 4 on Viper Vega of the Jawheads.

Day 6
Pick any of the available Assignments today. I picked the Vehicle Patrol.

I stopped a shootout.

Next, I got a callout for a homicide from Detective Ferrera. Examine the body once you get to the scene. You need to find 3 pieces of evidence, this is the first one.

There is a wallet on the shelf in the back. Check the ID in there.

Check the cash near the entrance to find the last piece of evidence.

Talk to Det. Ferrera and leave.

Stopped a carjacking next.

Stopped a DUI next.

Met up with Antonio to get more evidence on the Jawheads.

Next, I responded to a burglary and found more evidence on the Crimson Serpent.

Stopped a carjacking next.

Stopped another carjacking and got evidence on the Jawheads.

A DUI was next.

Shift had ended, so I handed in the evidence. 6/8 for Dmitri Popov and 7/8 For Viper Vega.

Day 8
To start this day I picked Night Safety Project, as I needed to solve one more crime to unlock the next zone. Also remember to use your upgrade points.

Stopped a burglary right out the gate.

Stopped a mugging next.

Stopped a DUI next.

Stopped a robbery next. Next, I stopped a gang shooting. Got one piece of evidence on the Crimson Serpent.

Stopped a street fight. This netted me another piece of evidence on the Crimson Serpent.

Stopped another DUI.

Stopped the next DUI callout.

I got a call from Detective Ferrera to meet him at the morgue.

Talk to the coroner once you get there. Return to the crime scene now.

Question the residents.

Update Det. Ferrera about what you found out.

It was time to end my shift soon. So I headed back to the Precinct. I handed over all the evidence I had. You can now build a case on Dmitri Popov.

Day 9
Start the day by picking the RICO assignment for Dmitri Popov.

Speak to Detective Li. Head to the roof and get on the chopper.

Fly over to the docks. Once the chase starts, follow the cars.

Pick one chase it down and then fly over to the next one. Keep close to the cars and call for Cruiser Backup as soon as your token is charged.

Return to the Precinct. Go to the interrogation room and finish up the case.
