The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Walkthrough

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an RPG where you play as Tristan, Son of Melodias and Elizabeth. On his journey, he has encountered a mysterious pendant called the Book of Stars, and now, alongside Tioreh and Hawk, he’ll have to find his way to the Fairy King’s Forest and investigate the mysterious figure that suddenly appears in the forest.

Forgotten Pier

At the end of Act 1, you’ll have your own ship. Interact with the altar in the middle of the ship to be able to control it. You’ll then have to go to the marked location in the sea to get to the Fairy King’s Forest.

Once you reach the beach on the forgotten pier, it will trigger a cutscene. You’ll see through the Fairy King’s eyes, where he wakes up surrounded by the fairies, as they applaud his sudden return. However, some fairies are worried about his appearance.

The short cutscene abruptly ends, and you’ll be back with Tristan and his party. Here, Tioreh will tell you the direction in which you have to go to reach the Fairy King’s Forest.

You’ll have to climb on the cliff to get to the next quest marker. Tioreh’s adventure skill can also help you get to the top of the cliff more quickly. From here, you’ll have to make your way towards the forest.

The Barrier

The gateway to the forest is connected via a wooden bridge. You’ll have to get on the bridge and enter the gateway. As you get there, Tioreh will tell you about a barrier.

There’s a lot of fog here, and the barrier shouldn’t be active, at least not for Liones citizens, but it appears to be stronger than ever.

Tioreh suggests going through the barrier. Now, you have to approach the marked location. As you stand there, you’ll spot a flower-like creature with a yellow glowing head.

This yellow-headed creature runs towards the other side of the fog barrier, and you’ll have to follow it. Follow the creature’s every turn and movement, and you’ll eventually arrive at the forest.

The Trouble In The Forest

After arriving inside the forest, you’ll find a wind mechanism nearby. You’ll also spot a blue flower here. Here, you have to attack the wind mechanism with a wind-element character, such as Howzer, to activate the flower.

Once the flower is active, jump on it, and you’ll go high up in the sky. From there, you can open a glider or press the dash button and then use the glider.

Pass through the rings in the air and drop down on the quest marker. Here, you’ll see a cutscene where the Book of Stars starts reacting strangely. There’s also a fairy that resembles the one Tristan saw in his vision, but they stay out of sight for now.

Keep following the fairy called Puora, and he’ll take you on the path towards the Sacred Tree. Shortly, you’ll reach a fork. Take the left path here.

You’ll see King here, but this Harlequin is not the same one as Tioreh’s father, as he fails to recognize her. King moves away, but you’ll have to keep going towards the Sacred Tree.

The Sacred Tree

Once you’re inside the Sacred Tree, go and talk to Gerharde. She’ll tell you that the Fairy King and Queen Diane are currently away from the forest, and many people who shouldn’t exist in this time have started appearing all of a sudden.

Which means that the Harlequin we saw earlier was the one from the past, when he still didn’t have wings. Tristan then tells Gerharde about the trouble in Liones and shows her the Book of Stars.

Gerharde reveals that there’s a fairy named Daisy who knows a lot about this pendant. She also tells Tristan and Tioreh about Harlequin’s whereabouts inside the forest, the same one that they came across earlier.

As you come out of the Sacred Tree, Howzer will be waiting for you here. Talk to Howzer, and he’ll head back to Liones to report to Bartra about the situation in the forest. Meanwhile, he asks you to continue your investigation in the forest.

Screamer

Now, you have to go to the trading area. Here, you’ll find the Harlequin from the past, drowning in negativity. Tioreh tries to bring him to his senses, but gets pissed at him and walks away.

There’s a Fairy Playground nearby. Go there, you’ll find a strange creature called a Screamer, but something is different about this one. The screamer sings and makes everyone dizzy.

He then leads the little fairies outside. Fortunately, Harlequin comes and heals Tristan and Tioreh. You’ll then have to chase down the screamer and defeat it. You can spot it by its unique purple glow.

After you’ve defeated the screamer, it will run away, but Harlequin will be able to stop it with his spear. This will break a black fragment off from the screamer, and it will run away.

You’ll then have to talk to Harlequin. After that, head over to the Light Garden. It’s not that far from the spot, and when you get to the marked location, you’ll find Viola protecting the screamer.

Viola is a fairy that can talk to the screamers. He protects the screamer in question and tells the party that its name is Nook. You’ll find out that there’s a strange intruder inside the forest, and they’re the ones who made Nook do what it did.

Viola also shares that his and Tioreh’s friends are missing, and some strange things are happening at once inside the forest. However, the party decides to meet up with Daisy first.

Daisy And The Book Of Stars

As you arrive in the Spirits’ Rest, you’ll find Daisy here. She tells you more about the Book of Stars and that it can get much stronger alongside Tristan.

Daisy then asks you to hand over the black fragment to her, and tells Tristan and the party to head back to Gerharde at the Sacred Tree. She also warns about an intruder in the forest.

Mushroom Colony

Now, before you can return to the Sacred Tree, you’d first have to go to the Mushroom Colony to find Viola’s friends. You can ride on Hawk to get there quickly.

As you arrive in the area, you’ll find a poison cloud. There’s a wind mechanism nearby, and you can pick it up with the Book of Stars: Movement ability.

Put the wind mechanism near the flower with the wind icon on it, which is just to the left of it. Now, hit the wind mechanism with a wind elemental character and you’ll be able to blow away the poison cloud.

Now, you’ll enter a small quest area. There are multiple poison clouds here, and the fungal enemies are often attacking. Here, you’ll find a poison cloud in the southeast direction of the quest area.

As you get rid of the poison cloud, it will reveal Sage, a fairy. Sage is Viola’s friend and has been protecting the young fairies. However, Sage tells you that some Screamers took a bunch of fairies towards the Forest of Temptation, and that’s where you’ll have to go next.

The Forest Of Temptation

You’ll be able to spot the Forest of Temptation by the strange red mist surrounding it. As you approach it, Tioreh will figure out that Harlequin has been following her.

He reaffirms the fact that there is an intruder in the forest. King decides to lead you to where he thinks is the source of the trouble.

Just before you reach the cave inside the Forest of Temptation, King parts ways with you. King asks the party to keep following the trail of the missing fairies, while he’ll go check out where energy similar to the black fragment is coming from.

As you head inside the cave, you’ll have to defeat four enemies in total. After defeating the enemies, you’ll find Puora here, and he has been protecting the young fairies.

Now, as you head out of the Cave of Temptation, you’ll find Harlequin standing outside. There’s one of those black plants here, and many screamers are dancing around this plant.

They’ll spot you, and you’ll have to fight against them. King fights alongside you, but since there are so many enemies, you can use the ultimates and be done with it quickly.

All the screamers have those black fragments attached to them, and these fragments will break away after you’ve defeated them. There’s also Surk, who’s the leader of the screamers. Surk tells you that it was a hooded man who did this to all the screamers.

The Pond

Gerharde arrives shortly after you’re done with the screamers. She’ll report that more monsters have been appearing around the forest. Now, you’ll have to head to the Fairy King’s Forest Pond.

As you get there, you’ll find King trying to talk to Helbram. Tristan and Tioreh end up eavesdropping on him, but King shortly leaves.

You have to investigate the pond at three points. Whenever you approach a point to investigate it, a monster will appear, and you’ll have to defeat it first.

Once you’ve investigated all three points, Tristan will be talking with Tioreh, and a black plant will appear all of a sudden. Four enemies will also show up alongside the black plant.

Now, you have to go near the fork in the forest. Here, you’ll encounter Daisy. She’s flying near what appears to be the body of a long-defeated Albion.

Daisy reveals that the Book of Stars has the ability to bring people and things from different timelines to the present. It currently lacks the ability to send them back, but if Tristan were to get stronger and encounter more beings from other dimensions and timelines, the Book of Star may get more powerful.

Guardian Rampart

After you’re done talking to Daisy, Puora will come and report that Gerharde is looking for Tristan and Tioreh. Now, you’ll have to immediately head towards the Sacred Tree.

When you get there and talk to her, she’ll tell you about the Guardian Rampart. It is a barrier set up by Fairy King Harlequin and Giant Queen Diane, Tioreh’s parents. Gerharde asks Tioreh to attempt to fix the barrier amidst all the chaos in the Forest.

Head inside the Sacred Tree and interact with it. You’ll see a cutscene where Tioreh tries to reconstruct the barrier. She’s having some trouble, but alongside help from the younger Harlequin, she’ll be able to fix the barrier.

Talk to Gerharde, and she’ll be grateful to you. You’ll have to find her outside of the Sacred Tree again. While you’re talking to Gerharde, Viola will come all of a sudden. He reports some trouble at the Forest of Remembrance.

Distraction

The Forest of Remembrance is much further from the Sacred Tree. You can get there through Auto Move or travel to the destination manually. Once you get there, you’ll find multiple fairies unconscious.

As you rescue the fairies and get rid of the black fragments from them, you’ll see a cutscene where a hooded figure will interact with the body of the defeated Albion, resurrecting it in the process.

It turns out that the fairies were a distraction by the hooded figure, as Albion walks from the other side of the forest and moves towards the Sacred Tree.

Once it approaches the Sacred Tree, it starts to bash at the barrier repeatedly. Once you get to the marked location, it will trigger a cutscene.

When the cutscene ends, Harlequin pierces through Albion. You’ll have to go and talk to Harlequin. When you do so, it will show that Albion wasn’t actually defeated. It regenerates and transforms into a much smaller but more destructive version of itself.

Battle Against Albion

When the battle against Albion Mutant begins, you won’t be able to deal damage to it normally. You have to attack its limbs, primarily the legs, to fill the stun gauge.

Make sure you’ve leveled up your characters and the weapons to deal enough damage to this boss and not suffer any major losses.

Once the stun gauge fills up, Albion will fall down. Now, you have to climb up towards Albion’s chest, where its core is. Keep attacking the core, and you’ll be able to bring his HP down to around 30%.

However, Albion will then wake up, more powerful than ever before. Fortunately, Harlequin and the other fairies arrive to help you out. They’ll summon tiny flower guns in the arena.

Now, Albion is enraged, and you cannot get close to it. You’ll get blown away if you do so. Here, you have to go for the flower guns and aim for the core inside its chest.

Shooting at the core will fill up the stun gauge. Harlequin will try to help you out as Albion is stunned, but it doesn’t give you a chance to damage it anymore, and it recovers immediately.

Purple spikes will start to pop out of the ground periodically, and blasts will also fall from the sky, so you’ll have to be on the move.

This is the final phase, and you’ll have to either attack the boss’s legs manually or aim for its core using the flower guns in the arena. Either way, this will take a fair amount of time to fill its final stun gauge, but using the flower guns is much easier.

Once Albion is stunned, the fairies and Harlequin will hold it in place, and you can damage its core to completely defeat it.

Aftermath

After the battle and the following cutscenes, you’ll find Howzer nearby. He joins up with you. On the other hand, Harlequin decides to remain at the Fairy King’s Forest in the absence of the Harlequin and Diane of the present, encouraging Tioreh to keep enjoying her adventure.

Daisy is also nearby. When you talk to Daisy, she’ll reveal that it may take a lot of time, but eventually the Book of Stars will gain enough power to revert all the changes that have occurred recently. She also tells you that the Book of Stars will guide Tristan itself towards the next step of the journey.

Now, a cutscene will begin, which shows the Book of Stars conjuring a pillar of light in a direction, encouraging Tristan and company to head towards it, and that would also mark the completion of Act 2.
