The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin – Act 3 Walkthrough

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin tells the story of the Prince of Liones, who uncovers a mysterious pendant inside a cave. After the prince acquires the pendant, strange things start to happen all over Britannia. Now, Prince Tristan must find any leads to what might be causing these events and discover more about this pendant called the Book of Stars.

Act 3 is divided into two parts: 3-A and 3-B. Both of these parts are covered in this walkthrough.

Act 3-A: The Maddened Forest

After completing Act 2 and having a conversation with Daisy, Book of Stars will guide Tristan’s party towards the Northern Residence.

You’ll meet Ende and Poura when you arrive at the marked location. They’ll tell you about the trouble in the Northern Residence inside the Fairy King’s Forest.

Ende asks you to lead you towards the area. You’ll have to follow her until you arrive at the quest location.

Fairies And Flowers

As you arrive in the quest location, you’ll find that many fairies have collapsed. There’s one still standing. It’s Cisca, Ende’s friend. However, Cisca also loses their mind and attacks Ende.

Tioreh stops Cisca just in time. Once Cisca is knocked out, they slowly regain their senses. Cisca will then tell Tioreh about how the fairies were playing around before they started falling unconscious one by one.

The party then hears a scream from nearby. You’ll have to go and check what it’s about. Here, you’ll find Rose, and she is being attacked by another fairy. You’ll have to defeat this other fairy, and then you can talk to Rose.

Rose gives Tioreh a strange flower for her help. She also reveals that she had been collecting these flowers to give to her friends. Tioreh suggests that Rose comes with the party for safety.

Mad Fairies

After the conversation, follow Ende to the nearby quest point. When you get there, you’ll hear someone calling out for help. Rose tries to stop Tioreh and the rest, but they’ll still go to help.

When you get there, you’ll find a group of mad fairies attacking Merik. Here, you have to defeat around 10 enemies in total. They’ll keep spawning. Once you’ve defeated 10, you’ll be able to talk to Merik.

Merik tells you that everyone fell ill suddenly, and Rose gave flowers to everyone. Kroka, Merik’s friend, turns frenzied, and she’ll yell out Rose’s name. Rose is nowhere to be found, but comes shortly after.

Rose tells Tioreh that she had found some fairies who need her help, and she did it all for Tioreh. Kroka calms down as Merik watches over her, and now, you’ll have to follow Rose.

Strange Flowers

Keep following Rose until you find Spia. After that, the party will start suspecting the mysterious flowers. Tioreh asks Rose where she found the flowers, since she had never seen them before.

Rose reveals that the flowers appeared all of a sudden and leads the party towards the flower field. When you get to the flower field by following Rose, Hawk will get excited and eat the flower.

This will cause Hawk to become frenzied, and it’ll start attacking you. You’ll have to completely defeat Hawk to return him to his senses.

You have to talk to Rose then. It turns out that Rose knew that the flowers were the thing leading the fairies into frenzy. She also turns frenzied.

Rose is quite strong, so you should heal yourself first before fighting against her, especially after beating Frenzied Hawk.

Cure For Madness

After you’ve defeated Rose, she’ll run away. Tristan suggests going to Gerharde for help, but you’ll have to collect some flowers first. Here, you have to follow Hawk.

Hawk will lead you to these strange flowers in the field, and you can pick them up. You’ll have to pick up three flowers.

Once that’s done, you’ll have to return to Gerharde outside of the Sacred Tree. She’ll tell you that these flowers are draining the life force of the fairies, and to cure it, you’ll need life essence.

Gerharde says she knows how to make the cure, but you’ll have to find the main ingredient from the Sacred Tree.

Go inside the Sacred Tree. There’s another smaller tree inside of it. Look around, and you’ll find a mushroom. Jump on the mushroom and climb on the inner tree.

There’s a chest here, but you’ll also be able to get to the branches to gather the ingredient. Once that is done, return to Gerharde.

She’ll cure Tioreh, and now, she says that she requires some more materials to mass-produce life essence, as well as a special container so you can go and heal the affected fairies in the Northern Residence.

Finding Stuff For The Life Essence

The first thing you have to look for is a Fairy Mushroom. You’ll have to get to the Spirit’s Rest for this item. Once you get there, you’ll find several mushrooms that look the same.

You have to go and interact with the one that’s near a tree trunk. You’ll be able to pick it up. Next, you require a special container.

For the special container, you’ll have to go to the Merchant Karen. Merchant Karen is in the Trading Area.

Talk to her, and she’ll give you the flowered bottle for free. After acquiring both of the items, you’ll have to return to Gerharde. She’ll make a cure and put it inside the container.

Curing Madness

Now, you have to return to the flower field in the Northern Residence. When you reach the destination, Tioreh will use the cure, and all of the affected fairies will get better, including Rose.

Rose immediately runs away from Tioreh, but Tioreh insists that she has to talk to Rose. Now, you have to go towards the eastern entrance to the Northern Residence.

The quest marker will lead you next to the healing statue. When you get there, Hawk will say that it can’t pinpoint Rose’s location, but it knows that she was headed towards the lake.

Head towards the nearby lake. Here, you’ll be able to talk to multiple NPCs to gather information about where Rose might be.

You’ll find Rose near a flower field, just north of the Mushroom Moss Demon’s location. When you find Rose, Tioreh will share some words with her.

She’ll then become friends with Rose, and the Book of Stars will absorb some power from the strange flowers. After that, you have to head to the Northern Border and talk to the fairy there to complete Act 3-A and begin Act 3-B.

Act 3-B: Children Of The Dragon

You’ll find Boot here. Boot will tell you about some mysterious individuals who had been kidnapping fairies and humans. Now, you have to go a little deeper into the Northern Border.

The next quest marker will lead you to the Aquatree Lake. You’ll find a group of fairies here, as well as a young fairy.

The little fairy called Mona will tell you about these mysterious people and said that these people call themselves Dracos.

After the conversation, a cutscene will trigger that will show some fairies and humans fleeing from a group of people. A lady is following them, but they’re being pursued by people who have the features of dragons.

You’ll have to fight these Draco Trackers alongside this mysterious girl. After the battle, the girl will leave. You’ll have to talk with the fairies and humans who escaped about what had happened in the Dragon’s Grave area.

They’ll reveal that the Dracos were making them mine strange crystals from the area. They had been making the people work by casting spells that prevented them from sleeping.

Mannie

Now, you have to go to the lake near the Northern Border area. The girl will refuse to talk to you at first, but you’ll be attacked by monsters. Defeat them, and the girl will tell you her name.

Her name is Mannie. She reveals that her kind appeared in this timeline out of nowhere. She also talks about the importance of a crystal called Dragonblood, and that’s what the Dracos had been making the fairies and humans mine.

Mannie will also tell you the story behind the Dracos and what the leader of the Dracos, King Drake, is trying to do. After a long conversation, Mannie will agree to come with you to free the workers at Dragon’s Grave.

Now, you’ll have to follow Mannie to the Dragon’s Grave. You’ll encounter more enemies before Mannie agrees to go with you, and you’ll have to defeat them.

Captives

This place is full of Draco enemies. When you get to the quest location, you’ll find these Draco Guards casting spells on workers. You’ll have to fight against them.

Defeat seven Draco Guards to progress. Once you’ve defeated them, you’ll have to head to the next location. Here, you’ll find five cages. Interact with each cage to set the captives free.

Once you’ve set the captives free, Kayla will come along. Kayla is Mannie’s mentor, and she’s on your side. Talk to Kayla, and she’ll suggest destroying the storage that is full of Dragonblood crystals to stop King Drake from fulfilling his plan of resurrecting the Elder Dragon.

When you get there, you’ll find out that there’s no storage. You’ll have to fight against the Draco Warriors here, who ambush you. Defeat eight of these warriors, and King Drake will appear in a cutscene.

After the cutscene, Mannia will leave your party. Kayla lies on the ground, and you’ll have to interact with her to heal her.

Securing Entrance To The Elder Dragon’s Altar

Now, you have to head to the Elder Dragon’s Altar. Its the corpse of the big dragon in the area. When you get there, you’ll see a cutscene where King Drake unlocks the altar and walks inside, after destroying an egg.

When you get there, you’ll have to fight more Draco enemies. Defeat at least seven enemies to progress here.

Once you defeat the enemies, Kayla will tell you to find the egg fragments inside the area. You’ll have to find a total of four fragments to craft the Dragon Egg, which will serve as a key to enter the altar.

You can find all four fragments in the area. Once you’ve gathered them all, return to Kayla.

Now, Kayla will tell you how to craft the Dragon Egg from the fragments. Set up a workbench.

Open the workbench and switch the category to Quests. Here, you’ll find the Dragon Egg. Craft it and claim it from the workbench.

Now, place the Dragon Egg on the pedestal outside of the Altar. This will open the path to the Elder Dragon’s Altar.

Elder Dragon’s Altar

As you enter, there’s a stone tablet in the front. Interact with it, and that will open the path forward. You’ll find several Draco enemies waiting for you.

Defeat the enemies, and there’s another stone tablet in this room. Interact with the second stone tablet. This will open a portal. Walk through the portal, and you’ll arrive at the ritual’s location.

Here, you’ll find King Drake, Mannie, and the Elder Dragon’s Heart.

Defeating King Drake

As the battle begins, you’ll have to watch out for King Drake’s attacks. His attacks are slow, but they hit hard. He deals Electric damage.

The first phase is fairly easy. You have to deplete King Drake’s HP by 40%. He’ll then start levitating, preparing to launch a tremendous attack. You won’t be able to deal any damage to him right now.

During this moment, Mannie will free herself from the Elder Dragon’s Heart and start to fight against King Drake. While she keeps King Drake occupied, she’ll ask you to destroy the Elder Dragon’s Heart.

Destroy the Elder Dragon’s Heart. Once that’s done, King Drake will absorb the power from it. Now, Drake is much more powerful.

In this phase, you’ll have to fight against King Drake, but you’ll also have to avoid the falling rocks from above.

Make sure you’ve got some healing potions, and you’ll have to use them since King Drake is so powerful. You’ll be able to defeat him, but you’ll have to focus on avoiding his big attacks.

Now, you’ll see a cutscene for the ending. Once everything is done, you’ll say goodbye to Mannie and return to Boot at the Northern Border.

When you talk to Boot, that will mark the ending of Act 3-B. Now, the Book of Stars points towards another direction. Approach the location to begin the next Act.
