The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Walkthrough

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin puts you in the shoes of Prince Tristan, the son of the famed Melodias and Elizabeth. However, the awakening of the Book of Stars has caused timelines to overlap, and a lot of things have started to appear in the present that shouldn’t exist.

Act 8: Missing People

After acquiring the new Tyrant Dragon form for Hawk, you’ll have to help the people of the Oasis Village.

You can choose to find and help two people in the village who need your help, but that is optional. To progress the quest, you’ll have to find Banner near the entrance of the village.

Tristan is currently looking for his childhood friend, who was stationed at Dalmally, but after the village turned into a desert, there has been no news of him.

Banner suggests going to the area known as Traveler’s Rock because an Apprentice Holy Knight went there, and Banner suspects that this might be the boy Tristan is looking for.

Traveler’s Rock

The Traveler’s Rock is a location located to the west of the Oasis Village. When you get there, you won’t find any people, but there are signs of someone staying here, such as a campfire and a tent.

Approaching the area will trigger a cutscene, and then you’ll hear a scream from nearby. Locate the source of the scream by following the quest marker, and here, you’ll find a villager with the man in the black costume.

The party suspects the man in the black costume is threatening the villager, but suddenly, some Abyss Monsters appear. You’ll have to defeat five of them, but the man in the black costume disappears.

You’ll have to go and talk to the villager. He’ll tell you he escaped from the Holy Knights who were abducting people. The villager suspects that a young Holy Knight might be held prisoner at the Baste Prison nearby.

The Broken Cart

You’ll have to go nearby to check the cart from which the villager was running. It is towards the southwest direction from where you talked to the villager, just near the Baste Prison building.

When you get there, you’ll find the man in the black costume with the villagers. It appears that he’s threatening them. Approaching the man will trigger a cutscene, and you’ll have to battle against him.

After you’ve defeated him in battle, the black costume guy will leave. Tristan and the party will decide to investigate Baste Prison, as Tristan’s friend might be there.

As you arrive at the prison’s entrance, walk straight through the corridor. You’ll find a Liones Soldier in the way, and you’ll have to defeat him. There’s a cell to the left ahead, and you’ll find a prisoner there who’s hiding from the soldiers.

Baste Prison

As most of the cells are empty, the prisoner will reveal that all of the soldiers have moved the prisoners somewhere else. Now, you’ll have to go deeper into the prison to find the villagers who have been going missing.

From this point onwards, you’ll encounter bosses as you go up in the prison. It’s best to bring some healing and level up before you decide to progress.

If you fail in a battle, you’ll have to climb all the way up again, so it’s best to come prepared to this area to avoid the extra hassle.

Weird Fangs Jude

As you move deeper on the first floor, you’ll find a gigantic hall. Here, you’ll hear Jude’s voice. He finally decides to show up, and you’ll have to defeat him.

Jude often disappears into the ground, popping some place else in the arena while summoning dark spikes around him. He can also teleport freely in the arena.

Jude can also summon dark spikes anywhere on the arena. You can spot where the spikes are gonna emerge by the red circle, and you can then get out of the way.

Once you’ve defeated Jude, you can take the lift in the hall to go up. On the next floor, you’ll find corruption blocking the path. Purify it using the Book of Stars and keep going ahead.

Weird Fangs Golgius

As you progress, you’ll encounter Golgius, one of the members of the Weird Fangs that guard the Baste Prison. Golgius can disappear during battle, making it difficult for you to attack him.

Golgius uses a sword and slash attacks. His Blue Flash attack, which can be interrupted by a tag attack, causes him to unleash a wide, long-range slash.

After disappearing, Golgius may prepare for a powerful thrust attack. You can see the direction of the attack on the ground and avoid it accordingly. He can also throw his swords to attack you at range, but you can avoid them by dashing.

Once you’ve defeated Golgius, you’ll find a door in the room. Go through the door, and you’ll arrive at a large pair of stairs. Some parts of the stairs have broken down, so you’ll have to jump and dash to get to them.

Weird Fangs Ruin

After getting to the top of the stairs, Tristan will find a little girl. The party decides to follow the girl, but she disappears, and the party arrives in a large hall. Here, they’re greeted by Ruin of the Weird Fangs.

Ruin uses big Area of Effect magic blasts. Dash away from the explosions to avoid them. His Blue Flash attack causes him to spin around with his mace, causing damage and knocking your characters away if you don’t interrupt it with a tag attack.

Once you’ve defeated Ruin, you’ll enter a cutscene that shows Tioreh and Tristan fighting with each other. Hawk tries to tell them, but they’re too deep in the illusion. Hawk then tackles Ruin, who was hiding in the same room, defeating him.

After Ruin is defeated, look for a door in the room. As you go through the door, you’ll arrive in the eating hall for the Liones Soldiers.

There are many soldiers here that you’ll have to defeat, but you can also skip past them by going for the gate on the other end of the hall.

Weird Fangs Freesia

You’ll find some more stairs on the way. Once you get to the top of the stairs, you’ll find a long corridor, but it’s blocked by strange bugs. Hawk then decides to take on its Tyrant Dragon form.

This will unlock a short minigame, where you’ll have to ride Hawk to the next room. You can use the Tyrant Dragon Hawk’s fire snort ability to get rid of the bugs blocking your path. Keep that up, and you’ll find your way to the next room where you’ll encounter Freesia.

Freesia uses poison attacks. One of her attacks unleashes poison in a wide range in front of her. You’ll have to get out of the way to avoid it.

If her Blue Flash attack isn’t interrupted, she’ll cause rings of poison on the arena, and you’ll take damage if you step on them.

Warden Of The Baste Prison

After defeating Freesia, pass through the door in the room. There are some stairs on the way, but you’ll enter a room full of Liones soldiers. You’ll find out that the soldiers were keeping the villagers here.

Defeat all of the soldiers. After that, Jericho will appear. It’s the Jericho from the past, and she’s the current warden of the Baste Prison.

She attacks the party, but Dredrin will show up to guard Tristan. It turns out, Dredrin is Tristan’s childhood friend. Jericho will then leave without a fight.

After Jericho leaves, go towards the roof of Baste Prison. You’ll find a gigantic Abyss Flower here that has bloomed. The scholar named Sarasik is also here, but he’s in trouble.

The Abyss Flower Of Baste Prison

Now, you’ll have to fight against the Abyss Monsters around the flower. Here, you have to defeat the Voracius Servant Of The Abyss, but many smaller Abyss monsters will keep attacking you throughout the battle, and you’ll have to deal with them as well.

Once you’ve defeated the monster, use the Purification ability of the Book of Stars to destroy the Abyss Flower. After that, you’ll have to go and talk to Sarasik.

After the cutscene, Dredrin and Sarasik will tag along with you. You’ll have to go to the Prison Entrance again. You can just jump off the roof here and get to the entrance quickly, but be sure to open the glider, or you might take fall damage.

At the entrance, you’ll find all the villagers who had been missing and were saved from Baste Prison. Your next task is to return to the Oasis Village.

When you enter Oasis Village, you’ll find the next quest point near the entrance. As you get there, Dr. Sennet will arrive. She’ll tell you that a scholar has appeared, and he has been helping around with the heatstroke problem.

Talk to Dr. Sennet again, and you’ll get to meet Vernas. Suddenly, a soldier will arrive to bring urgent news for Dredrin, and that will also mark the completion of Act 8.
