The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin features Prince Tristan as the main character. As the story progresses, Tristan will use his pendant, the Book of Stars, to purify the corruption spread all over Britannia by the Abyss Flowers. However, alongside the Abyss Flowers, the timelines have started to converge, and things that shouldn’t exist in the present have started to appear.

Act 9: Where The Dead Rests
After completing Act 8, you’ll have to talk to the Liones Soldier named Reno. He’ll tell you that Vice Grandmaster Guila has left for Tala, and she has requested Dredrin’s help.
Reno also reveals that a place called Capital of the Dead has appeared near the town, and the situation around it has been completely chaotic. After the cutscene, Dredrin will join your party, and it will be decided that the next stop is the town of Tala.

Sarasik also joins you on your journey. To get to the Tala, you’ll have to head southwest of the Oasis Village. When you get there, you’ll spot a large green crystal in the distance.
Now, you’ll have to go deeper into the area. The next quest point leads you closer to Town Tala.

The Ghost And The Living
As you pass through the passage leading to Town Tala, Tristan will notice someone in the grass. It turns out that it’s a ghost. When you talk to him, it will be revealed that the living and the dead have been swapped in Town Tala with the appearance of the Capital of the Dead.
The ghost that’s in front of you is actually a living person. He’ll tell you about his old mother and how she used to cook for him.

After the conversation, you’ll have to head to Town Tala. Here, on this path, you’ll encounter wild herbs and honey. Collect at least three wild herbs, and you can find honey on a tree near the entrance.
When you go inside the town, you’ll encounter an old lady. She’s alive right now, but she used to be a ghost. She’ll ask you to gather some ingredients so that her son can taste her cooking one more time.

You’ll then have to talk to Martha again to hand over the ingredients. If you don’t have anything you need, you can find it at the entrance of the town.
Now, Martha will hand you a cooked dish. You’ll have to go back to the entrance and find the ghost. Once the ghost tastes the cooking, he’ll tell you his name. You’ll then have to take Landos to Martha.

Ellen And Luigi
After reuniting Landos and Martha, you’ll have to go and inspect the nearby crystal. You’ll also find Sarasik here.
While inspecting the crystals, Hawk’s eyes will land on two familiar faces. You’ll now have to go and talk to the kids in the northwest part of the town.

You’ll find Ellen and Luigi here. They’ll tell you to go check out Guila’s stuff, as you might find something there. Interact with the table, and return to Luigi and Ellen, they’ll tell you that the key to the Capital of the Dead is the wind, but the crystals have been blocking the wind.
You’ll then have to go and check out the wild dragon that was near Guila’s stuff. It will become your pet, temporarily. You’ll then have to mount the wild dragon and make your way up the crystals.

The Crystals
Now, follow the quest marker and go to the top of the large crystal. When you get to the crystal, you’ll find an Abyss Flower on it. Purify the flower using the Purification ability.
If the Purification ability isn’t active, you can find a Purification constellation stone towards the southeast of the town.

After purifying the first crystal, you’ll have to go to the second one. You can find it in the northeast direction.
Once you’ve purified the second crystal, you’ll have to go to the last corrupted crystal, which is towards the north. Use the flying dragon to get to it.

After you’ve purified all the crystals, the wind will start to blow once again. Sarasik asks to stay behind, but you’ll have to return to Ellen and Luigi.

The Capital Of The Dead
When you talk to Ellen and Luigi, Tristan and his party will be transported to the Capital of the Dead. Here, you’ll find a barrier in the distance. There are also portals here, and these portals connect the floating platforms with each other.
Follow the quest marker on the portal, and you’ll arrive near the first Abyss Flower. Purify it and defeat the nearby enemies. Once the flower is purified, it will open another portal that will lead you to the next Abyss Flower.

After purifying the first flower, you’ll arrive at a vast cliff. There’s a portal you can find towards the northeast. It’s on top of another cliff. As you pass through the portal, you’ll arrive at the second Abyss Flower.
Glide to the other platform after purifying the second flower. You’ll find a white portal on this platform. Go through the white portal, and you’ll find the third Abyss Flower.

Purifying the last Abyss Flower will open a portal leading to Guila. However, you’ll have to be prepared as Guila is extremely strong.

Fighting Against Guila
It is recommended that your team’s combat rating be at least 10,000 before you fight Guila. She appears to have lost her mind, and you’ll have to defeat her in battle.
Throughout the battle, Guila uses her Demonic Power. Guila uses her claw attacks for melee strikes, but she can also throw ranged projectiles.

At times, Guila may also start to glow red, and then she’ll charge at you. You’ll have to dash away from her as much as possible to avoid this attack.
After you’ve defeated Guila, she’ll regain her senses, but it turns out that she had an Abyss Fragment attached to her.

Safe And Sound
Once you’ve defeated Guila, the cutscene will lead you back into the world of the living. The party then says goodbye to Ellen and Luigi, and you’ll have to go to the Oasis Village to meet up with Guila.
When you reach the Oasis Village, you’ll find Guila sitting near the entrance, by a well. Talking to her will end Act 9.
