Welcome to the Grove! This is your homebase of sorts, where you’ll find Greenshields to render you services, and you can also use this as a general camp.
Start by walking north to Scrap Heap and talk to him. After this, go slightly to his west and use the building with the black flag outside of it to rest.
Here, you’ll have another dream. Follow the trail to the end.
The next morning, you’ll converse with Grey Coat. Your new objective is to get to the grave Grey Coat mentioned.
Before setting out, you can also look around the Grove and meet its residents. Several structures need to be repaired, for which you will need items from the world.
There is also Litterbox, who wants you to find her cats. When you’re ready, withdraw a team of 15 twiglings from the Spirit Well and set out south of the Grove.
Green Witch Catafalque
Upon exiting the Grove, go south and then immediately east.
You’ll find a broken wall to the far east here. Toss your spritelings at it to break it down.
Go north, hugging the stone wall and turn at the lantern to make your way up to the cave entrance. You can vacuum the windmill here to unlock a shortcut.
Enter the cave. Follow the path eastwards and into the shadowed area to enter a hidden area, where you’ll find a cat and a chest, as well as a glint-bearing squash.
Toss your spritelings at the cat to convince her to get out. Return to the stony path that towers over the stream below. At the very end of it, you’ll be able to hop across the stream.
There’s some pip squashes here, as well as a supplies box, a campfire, and a spirit well. Head north to meet Grey Coat.
After the conversation, return to the campfire and quickly toss five of your twiglings on the closed flower to make it bloom. Closed flowers will open up new paths for you.
Head south, pick up the page, and then use your twiglings on the closed flower to the left of the island to unlock another path. Remember to power-vacuum the twiglings back to you!
Outside the cave entrance, there’s another flower that you can use to unlock some vines to go down the cave cliff. You are now ready to go searching for the Greenshields.
Note that from here on out, how you use your in-game days is up to you. When evening falls, it is recommended that you drop whatever you’re doing and return to a resting place to call it a night.
