Tiny Eden is a farming simulation game, where you grow a little garden in your apartment. The game is thorough, and you will need to take care of your plant’s requirements. Complete orders using your grown crops to earn reputation. You will unlock new varieties of plants as you complete tasks.

To learn more about the game, check out the Steam page. Also read our review of the game.

Getting Started

Tiny Eden

Start by reading the notes and clearing up the pile of trash on the balcony. Set all the fallen planters upside. Go to the cabinet and free the drone. Water the plants till you reach the sweet spot, which is the thin line on the marker.

Talk to the drone again after cleaning the dirt. Open the store menu and purchase shears. You can grab your order from the parcel box in the lobby. Equip it from the toolbar and use it on the ripe strawberries to harvest them.

Grab strawberry seeds from the cabinet and plant them in the planters with the strawberry seed holes. Fill up your watering can from the sink in your house, and water the strawberries to 90 percent.

How To Maintain Your Plant’s Health

Go to the roof to adopt a cat after checking your mail. Purchase a cat bed for your feline. Check out the balcony the next day as well. From here on out, you will need to pay close attention to the climate that your crops require.

You will also manage a variety of issues that your plants may encounter during growth. For starters, you will notice that some of your strawberries have grown weeds. You need a pitchfork to remove this. They will leave behind biomass upon removal, which you can pick up.

Tip

If you don’t understand what’s wrong with the plant, press ALT to check its status and use your guide to match the problem with the relevant symbols. Check up on your plants often to make sure they are healthy. Start with fewer varieties and a small number of crops till you get used to it.

How To Sell Your Crops

Go to the Atrium, and you will find your first customer outside the DIY Club. You will get some rewards, including compost and some new seeds to plant.

You will also get the recipe for Vitamin Salad, which you can cook in the kitchen using Strawberries and Pak Choy. You can sell your cooked dishes as well if your customers demand them.

Open the orders menu and choose an order that you can easily fulfil. Complete many orders to earn reputation.

How To Plant More Crops

Tiny Eden

Take the compost and sand to your planters. Fill planters with both sand and compost in the correct ratio for the relevant plant requirement. Plant the Pak Choy seeds and water them.

As you progress, you can assign new plants to the empty planters yourself. You can also reassign plants, but it’s better not to do that, because of different soil conditions.

How To Add Furniture And Planters

Tiny Eden

As you progress through the tasks, you will unlock the build mode in Tiny Eden. When you enter the build mode, you can place any blueprints you own. Use the hammer and strike the blueprint a few times to finish building. You can add several new planters to your balcony this way.

How To Get The Second Room Key

Once you have learned all the basics, you can get to purchasing expansion keys. One of the tasks requires you to purchase the second room key. You will find it under the Misc tab in the shop menu. Collect the key from the parcel terminal and unlock the room.

You can unlock more rooms in Tiny Eden, but you first need to build up reputation and unlock more neighbors by completing their quests.

How To Set Up A Lab

After you have unlocked the second room, you can build your lab inside. Go inside the room and interact with the Project: Genetic Lab blueprint. You can see the materials required.

You can purchase planks, textile, and fasteners from the shop. These can also be found lying around your apartment. The materials not available at the shop can be acquired through other means.

You can get the recipe for Bean Stir-Fry and Caramelized Onion Jam from the Kitchen tab in the shop menu. You need club reputation three to purchase these.

Tiny Eden

You can then use the lab to evolve your crops. Submit the required number of crops and then press Bloom. If you have enough Plasmids, you can evolve your plant. Evolution gives additional traits to your plants, making them more survivable under tough conditions.

Tip

Try to complete simpler orders, as you can get them done fast to increase your reputation quickly. Focus on regrowable crops like strawberries, cornflowers, peas, and beans.

Cooked items can yield more reputation, but they are harder to manage if you don’t have the required crops ready. Dedicate some pots to the ingredients required for cooking for continuous supply.

How To Get The Database

To obtain the database, check your email. Then grow corn flowers. They will take a while to grow, so sleep through your days to pass time.

When they are grown, harvest and deliver them to the rooftop. Make sure the timing is between 9 pm and 11 pm. Put them inside the shady drone. Now wait for a response from Nyx. Pass some time while playing the game.

Read the mail and then visit Nyx’s friend in the Atrium.

How To Open Your Shop

Your shop will open once you earn a total of 100 coins in Tiny Eden and after you have progressed through some tasks. Even if you spend money, your total earnings won’t be reduced. Once you reach the milestone, you can collect a key from the parcel terminal.

Go to the Atrium and unlock the door with the Tiny Market sign. You then need to build a couple of showcases and a checkout counter. You can find their blueprints in the shop under the blueprints section.

Place the products on the showcase. You can then edit the price. You don’t have to constantly stay at your shop. Your products will sell automatically. You can increase the final price of any product by visiting the Trading Hub in the menu.
