Arc Raiders – A First Foothold Quest Guide

A major part of Arc Raiders involves looting every single building available, as you will find yourself constantly needing materials to either craft new items or for upgrades. Another part of the game requires you to complete missions, which have different rewards and objectives.

Among the missions available to you is A First Foothold, and if you have been needing some help locating the location it asks you to reach, then this guide is for you.

How To Complete A First Foothold Quest

The A First Foothold quest becomes available after the Blue Gate map is unlocked. In order to unlock this map, you will need to play 18 matches on any available map.

The quest will have four different objectives in four different locations. However, the good part is that you do not need to complete all four steps in one run.

Tip

We especially recommend that you do one or two steps in a single run to be safe, as the four different locations are quite far from each other.

How To Find The Observation Desk

The first location is the Observation Desk that you need to reach, and this is located east of the Blue Gate map.

Open the map and make your way to where it says Ridgeline, and you should spot the building you need.

How To Enable The Comms Terminal

For the terminal location, head to the south of the map, specifically to the west of the Olive Grove area.

From a distance, you will be able to spot a yellow computer that you can interact with in order to enable the comms you need for the quest.

How To Find The Church

For the church location, it is at the very north of the map, just northeast of the Data Vault building.

After you reach it, simply climb to the top of it, and you should see a satellite with a yellow interaction button.

How To Find The Raider Structure

For the Raider Structure, where you need to nail down the roof plates, make your way east, specifically to Trapper’s Gade.

In the center of this location, you will be able to spot a building made of metal. Just climb up to the roof, and you should see the interaction button.

After you have completed all these steps, the A First Foothold quest will be complete, and you will be able to claim your rewards from the quest tab, which include:

• Three Shrapnel Grenades
• Three Snap Blast Grenades
• Three Heavy Fuze Grenades
