Blightstone – Class Guide

Blightstone has three classes available at the start, with two additional classes unlockable during gameplay.
Below is a breakdown of the starting classes, their combat skills, and camping abilities. More classes will be added later.



Hunter – Hubert

The Hunter is a ranged class accompanied by a loyal pet dog named Fang. Fang can be deployed in battle and also provides utility during camping.


Combat Skills

Bolt Shot

  • Primary attack
  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Cooldown: Yes
  • Deals 6 damage on hit
  • Affected by line of sight

Trap

  • Cost: 1 AP + 1 Scrap
  • Ends turn on use
  • Cooldown: 3 turns
  • Deals 9 damage when triggered

Dog Attack

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Fang attacks an enemy
  • Deals 3 damage
  • Adds 2 bleeding damage for 2 turns

Dog Come

  • Free action (0 AP)
  • Recalls Fang near the Hunter
  • Reduces Fang’s aggro by 20% for 2 turns

Dog Bark Distraction

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Cooldown: 2 turns
  • Lures enemies toward Fang
  • Applies Slowed and Blinded

Net Ambush

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Ends turn
  • Cooldown: 2 turns
  • Applies Marked (30%)
    • +30% accuracy and +30% damage taken
  • Applies Slowed (removes 1 AP)

Multishot

  • Cost: 2 AP
  • Ends turn
  • Cooldown: 3 turns
  • Fires 3 projectiles
  • -35% accuracy
  • Each shot deals 4 damage

Hunter’s Eye (Passive)

  • Increases accuracy by 15%

Marker Shot

  • Cost: 1 AP + 1 Herb
  • Cooldown: 3 turns
  • Deals 5 damage
  • Applies Marked (40%)

Unconditional Friendship

  • Grants Hastened to Fang
  • Grants +2 AP to the Hunter for dog-related skills

Dog Guard

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Fang guards an area for 1 turn
  • First enemy entering takes:
    • 2 damage
    • Bleeding for 2 turns

Camping Skills

At camp, the party has 3 AP total to spend.

Lick Wounds

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • 1 use
  • Fang heals 4 damage on a targeted ally

Prepare Wood

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • 1 use
  • Generates 2–3 units of wood

Set Traps

  • Cost: 1 AP + 2 Scrap
  • 1 use
  • Reduces bad event chance by 20%

Sniff and Dig

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • 1 use
  • 30% chance to find equipment or resources

Tame Dog

  • Cost: 2 AP
  • 1 use per run
  • Replaces Fang if it dies in combat

Brawler – Brunn

The Brawler is a close-range fighter with solid HP, capable of tanking damage and dealing strong frontline attacks.


Combat Skills

Uppercut

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Includes free movement
  • Deals 6 damage

Charge

  • Cost: 2 AP
  • Ends turn
  • Cooldown: 2 turns
  • Deals:
    • 6 damage on initial hit
    • 4 damage on rebound
  • Pushes enemies based on strength

Throw

  • Free action
  • Throws objects or entities
  • Strength: 3
  • Distance and damage scale with strength and target size

Headbutt

  • Swift action
  • Deals 8 piercing damage
  • Deals 1 self-damage
  • Ignores armor

Grab

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Grabs an entity
  • Can be followed by throws or other actions

Taunt

  • Swift action
  • Cooldown: 4 turns
  • Pulls aggro
  • Applies Blinded (10)

Immobilize

  • Swift action
  • Ends turn
  • Deals 4 damage
  • Applies Marked
  • Alters enemy direction based on strength

Hardened Skin (Passive)

  • Grants +1 Armor

Dust Shower

  • Swift action
  • 1 use
  • Cone attack
  • Deals 1 damage
  • Reduces enemy accuracy by 40%

Momentum Strike

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Ends turn
  • Cooldown: 2 turns
  • Dash attack
  • Deals 4 damage
  • Push direction depends on strength

Camping Skills

Game of Cards

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • 1 use
  • Heals 5 Blight from Brunn and one ally
  • Blight effects:
    • 25: Tainted
    • 50: Deranged
    • 75: Fractured

Share a Drink

  • Cost: 1 AP + 3 Booze
  • 1 use
  • Heals 4 damage for the entire party

First Watch

  • Cost: 1 AP + 1 Booze
  • 1 use
  • Reduces bad event risk by 15%

Arcanist – Armand

The Arcanist specializes in ranged arcane attacks, party linking, and teleportation.


Combat Skills

Arcane Spark

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Deals 3 arcane damage
  • 30% critical chance
  • Affected by line of sight
  • Has friendly fire

Arcane Ray

  • Cost: 2 AP
  • Ends turn
  • Cooldown: 2 turns
  • Deals 6 arcane damage
  • 30% critical chance
  • Line-of-sight and friendly fire apply

Vital Link

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Cooldown: 3 turns
  • Binds two characters
  • Damage and healing are split 50/50

Telekinesis

  • Throws objects up to 12 steps
  • Strength: 2
  • Best used on environmental objects

Break Vital Link

  • Swift action
  • Cooldown: 3 turns
  • Breaks an existing Vital Link

Teleport

  • Swift action
  • Cooldown: 2 turns
  • Teleports up to 8 steps

Arcane Explosion

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Ends turn
  • Cooldown: 3 turns
  • Deals 5 arcane damage
  • Radius: 4
  • +30% critical chance

Arcane Chainshot

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Ends turn
  • Cooldown: 2 turns
  • Chain attack
  • Deals 4 arcane damage
  • 30% crit chance
  • Jumps to one additional enemy

Swap Position

  • Swift action
  • Swaps two entities up to 14.4 steps apart

Arcane Conduction (Passive)

  • +20% critical chance
  • Arcane damage also counts as lightning and piercing

Arcane Barrier

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Cooldown: 2 turns
  • Creates a 5-step obstacle
  • 12 HP
  • Blocks enemy projectiles
  • Boosts allied projectile damage by 40%

Focus

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Cooldown: 4 turns
  • +70% damage this turn
  • Shreds 4 armor

Camping Skills

Study Scrolls

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • 1 use
  • Removes cooldowns from all skills for one day

Magic Show

  • Cost: 2 AP
  • 1 use
  • Reduces party Blight by 10

Arcane Vision

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • 1 use
  • Reveals random map information

Druid – Aeryn (Unlockable Class)

Aeryn is not available at the start and must be unlocked during a run.
Look for the red question mark event on the map path to unlock her.

The Druid focuses on summoning beasts, controlling terrain, and cone-based AOE attacks using environmental wood sources.


Combat Skills

Claw

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Deals 3 damage
  • Shreds 1 armor
  • Adds 2 bleeding damage for 2 turns

Splinter Burst

  • Cost: 1 AP + 1 Wood
  • Cooldown: 3 turns
  • Uses nearby wood sources
  • Directional cone attack
  • Deals 4 damage
  • Adds 2 bleed for 2 turns

Summon Beast

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Cooldown: 4 turns
  • Summons a random allied beast
  • -20 threat
  • Beast is stunned for 1 turn

Wall of Thorns

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • Ends turn
  • Cooldown: 2 turns
  • Creates a 4×2 wooden barrier
  • 10 HP
  • Deals 2 damage and applies bleeding for 2 turns on contact

Camping Skills

Healing Buds

  • Cost: 1 AP + 1 Herb
  • Heals 3 damage to the party

Guarding Roots

  • Cost: 2 AP
  • 1 use
  • Reduces bad event risk by 20%

Whispers of the Wild

  • Cost: 1 AP
  • 1 use
  • Reveals random information about upcoming map nodes
