Farming in Cozy Island is one of the life-sim activities where you grow crops, harvest resources, and use them for food. Eating the food is essential in this survival adventure because you need stamina for activities like chopping trees, mining the nodes, or fishing. Farming allows you to gain more food ingredients.
Place Land Plots to do farming in an area. In the starting Farm area, there is an already available Land Plot for you to farm on. You can also purchase the Land Plots and place them near the farming area. Crops need watering to grow and can be collected and used upon fully grown. Some crops are required for potions or other crafting recipes. Cozy Island is a cycle of planting, watering, and harvesting crops for survival. How To Farm in Cozy Island
While completing the, Repair the bridge quest, you need to cook food using the ingredients. Eating food is essential to gain stamina, allowing you to chop trees. You need to purchase the seeds like the Tomato Seed Bag, Carrot Seed Bag, or Pumpkin Seed Bag. Purchasing these seed bags requires Beets that you can obtain while exploring the Island.
15x Beet are required to purchase Ordinary Farming 2.
However, the Carrot Seed Bag is available at the entrance of Forest Track near the NPC. So, make your way near the NPC in this area to pick up the Carrot Seed Bag. Plant the seeds on the land plots in the Farming Store. You can also purchase the Land Plots and place them in the farming area, as they can only be built over there.
Once you plant the seeds, use the bucket to take the water from the well. You can find the bucket at the beginning of the game, so make sure to store it in the backpack.
Press the ‘E’ key while holding the bucket near the well to fill it with water. Go near the land plots and press the LMB to water the carrot seeds to grow them.
Now, wait for some time to let the carrot grow. This process might take 15 to 20 seconds.
Approach the newly grown carrots in the soil and pull them off. Now, you can add the carrots to the cooking pot to cook them. Investigate the book to learn the farming. Wait for the food to be prepared. Once the food is prepared, collect them to digest them.
Learn the farming method at the beginning of the game, as you will be farming more items while progressing.
