Mining in Cozy Island lets you break rocks and ore nodes scattered across the island to collect stone, ores, gems, and crafting materials. A pickaxe is required to mine the nodes in the game. Rocks and ore deposits are scattered around the island.

Pickaxe can’t be upgraded, so you need to use the base level one. This item in your backpack allows you to mine the nodes or ores scattered around the map. Mining also consumes stamina, so make sure you’ve a full belly before equipping the Pickaxe for this activity.

How To Do Mining

How To Do Mining

A pickaxe is an essential item for mining the nodes and ores. Obtaining this item may take some time, as you need to progress further in the game. Move to the middle of the map near the body of water. Continue moving to the southwest of the map till you find a small lake.

Travel southeast from the bridge till you see pink and green trees. Follow this path and open the closed chest to obtain the Pickaxe. Another location to get a Pickaxe is to buy it from the shop outside the Mining outpost.

Press the LMB to use the Pickaxe on the node to mine it. Only two to three hits are enough to mind the nodes. The mining area in Cozy Island is just on the upper section of the map, as shown in the image below.

Make your way to Mine Shop and equip the pickaxe to start mining and collect Ores.

Mine the nodes and collect the Diamond and Gold Ore, as they’re stuck in it.

One Diamond Ore can grant you 4xBeets if you sell them. Take the Ore near the entrance of this area and approach the chest signboard.

Press the RMB to place it, allowing you to gain more than 7 Beets. Collect the Beets to store them in the backpack.

It’s worth mentioning that mining the ores and nodes in Cozy Island also consumes stamina. Eat the food to boost your stamina and equip your pickaxe to start mining.

Move all the way to the top center of this location and collect the Heart of the Mine. Place this item on the statue available on the right of the bridge that you previously repaired in the Farming Store. Doing so allows you to gain the unique achievement for mining.
