Dispatch – Perfect Run Guide

Welcome to this in-depth guide on executing a perfect dispatch run in Dispatch. This walkthrough is designed to help you achieve near-optimal success in the game’s core mechanic of dispatching heroes. It is not the only way to play — the game allows flexibility — but this guide outlines a carefully tested route for high success rates.

The guide is split into:

  1. A summary of key mechanics you must know before diving in, and
  2. A detailed mission-by-mission walkthrough merging the mission lists and hero assignments into a continuous run.

What You Need to Know

Before beginning, familiarize yourself with the following critical notes:

Important Mechanics

  • Next to each mission name, you will see five numbers. These represent, in order:
Combat, Vigor, Mobility, Charisma, and Intellect. This is how much of which stat you need to have the best chance at success.
  • The dispatch system in Dispatch works by assigning one or more heroes to a call; the game then compares their stat profiles to the hidden requirement profile of the mission and calculates success based on how well they overlap.
  • Heroes have cooldowns/rest periods after missions: once dispatched, they return, then must rest (and sometimes do a review) before they can go out again.
  • Some missions offer stat-check options (for example “Needs a 3 in Charisma”). For these you should send heroes whose stat in the required area meets or exceed the threshold.
  • Some missions are marked “N/A” in stat list, meaning no explicit stat string is shown — for those, use the best hero(s) available or follow the guide’s recommended choice.
  • Finally, the heroes you assign do not need to match all five requirements exactly, but matching as closely as possible greatly increases your success chance.

Other Notes & Disclaimers

  • This guide only covers the dispatching mechanic. It does not cover non-dispatch choices such as romance, dialogues outside mission assignments, or other meta-game content. For that use our walkthrough here.
  • There are “sabotage” events in the game where a hero may override or interfere with a mission outcome. Recognising these and responding accordingly can help maintain your perfect run. These arise in certain Episodes.
  • The missions are not necessarily presented in the exact order they appear in the game. The guide’s order is chosen for flow and availability of heroes as they recover.
  • If a hero is resting when you should send them, you may wait until they are available — the guide assumes you will time your dispatches accordingly.
  • The guide will continue to be updated as new information or content becomes available.

Methodology Summary

  • When a call comes in, review the stat string (or check the hinted stat-check) and choose the hero or hero pair/trio whose stats best align (Combat, Vigor, Mobility, Charisma, Intellect).
  • For multi-hero missions, combined stat totals or synergy bonuses apply — some heroes have perks when paired.
  • Allocate your hero stat-points (level-ups) when available to align with upcoming missions. The guide includes recommended allocations at certain Episodes.
  • For sabotage events: recognise the narrative hint, and choose accordingly (e.g., send the correct hero/combination to avoid failure).

Final Thoughts

By following this guide, you should be well positioned to complete a near-perfect dispatch run in Dispatch. A few final reminders:

  • Keep an eye on hero availability — if your best hero is out on cooldown, pivot to your next best.
  • Use hacking missions or options when stat matches are weak — often they mean fewer stat checks.
  • For sabotage events: recognise them early via narrative clues and assign heroes accordingly to avoid mission failure.
  • Don’t neglect hero leveling and stat allocation — the pre-allocation instructions above are aimed at aligning your roster for the toughest sections.
  • Enjoy the story and narrative moments — this guide handles the mechanical side, but the game shines in character and choice.

This guide is unfinished at the moment as we are still working on out all the possible combinations and call variables. We do have a full mission guide that you can check out here.
