Escape From Tarkov was in beta for several years and recently had its full launch. The game was in beta for so long that many of its fans have already sunk hundreds of thousands of hours into it. That said, some players were waiting for the Steam release, as it is the preferred platform for many.

Tasks And Progression In Escape From Tarkov
The following are the levels and what type of quests they bring in-game:
| Levels | Explanation |
| 1-10 (Intro quests) | From level 1 to 10, you will get pretty simple tasks from the Therapist and Prapor. These won’t be difficult, so you shouldn’t have much trouble completing them. |
| 10-15 (Unlocks The Flea Market) | As you progress from level 10 to 15, you will unlock the Flea Market. It is a marketplace where you can buy and sell items with other players. |
| 15-30 (Different quests from different traders) | As you open the Flea Market, your next aim is to do more tasks given to you by different traders. You should increase your reputation with each trader so you can obtain high-quality items at a lower price. |
| 30+ (Endgame quests) | After reaching level 30, all tasks become quite difficult. Beyond level 30, it is essentially endgame, so you will need the best gear and, of course, extensive knowledge of the game, especially of the map. |
Complete The Tasks At Your Own Pace
Quests are undoubtedly important, as completing them is essential for leveling up. With higher levels, you unlock much better gear. As you progress, you will also gain access to high-level traders who sell top-quality items.
Keep in mind that each trader has their own quest line, so you will need to complete them individually. Doing so increases your reputation with that trader and enables you to purchase their items at a discounted rate. If you reach a certain level and reputation with a trader, you can even unlock access to better items.
That said, don’t rush. Complete quests at your own pace, taking the time to understand the game’s mechanics. It’s a good idea to finish the quest line of one trader first before moving on to another. Ignoring quests can mean missing out on some of the best gear in the game, which is something you definitely don’t want in Escape From Tarkov. Make sure to prioritize quests to maximize your progression.
