Halcyon Days at Taoyuan features a variety of mini-games for different tasks, and that includes learning blueprints as well. You can acquire blueprints from merchants, and the beasts in the cave can also drop them. You’ll first have to learn these blueprints to craft the said structure, but learning these blueprints requires solving complex puzzles. For more information on the game, visit its official Steam page here.
These blueprint puzzles feature origami-like shapes on the left side of the screen, and you have to fill them up using the puzzle pieces on the right. These puzzle pieces are usually triangles of different sizes, squares, or other shapes. In this guide, you’ll find all of the blueprint puzzles that I encountered on my playthrough.
The Swan
The Swan puzzle is one of the easier ones. You have to start with the big triangle pieces from the bottom and slowly make your way up.
Most of the swan is made up of triangles, and only the neck part is where you’ll have to use the square shape and the parallelogram for the neck.

The Camel
The camel uses the two larger triangles as its legs. The parallelogram will be in place of the neck, while the rest of the head is made up of the smaller triangles.
The square-shaped piece goes in place of the hump, and the rest of the back is the medium-sized triangle.

The Tree
The tree may appear easy, but it is one of the more difficult blueprint puzzles. The singular square piece goes in place of the trunk.
You have to fill the top-left half of the tree with a large triangle, while the other large triangle goes to the bottom-right part of the tree. Fill in the rest of the space with the remaining pieces.

The Apple
The heart-shaped apple uses the parallelogram as the twig. You’ll have to use the large triangle to form the bottom of it.
The other large triangle goes on top of the last one, and then you can fill out the remaining space with the other pieces, with the square and triangle filling one side, and the smaller triangle and the medium-shaped triangle filling the second side.

The Turtle
The turtle is also one of the easier puzzles. The two larger triangles will be used to build the body, while the square will go in place of the head.
The rest of the limbs are made up of triangles. You’ll have to place the parallelogram for one of the forelimbs.

The Crab
The crab can be a fair challenge to complete. You’ll have to place one large triangle for one leg, and one small triangle for the other. Place the second large triangle right above the small triangle that you just used as the leg.
The square piece acts as a head, while the parallelogram goes in one of the arms. The other arm can be completed by putting a medium-sized triangle.

The House
For the house, you’ll have to use the square piece as the chimney. The large triangle goes in the front, while the parallelogram makes up for the remaining space on the top half of the house.
Next, you’ll have to use the large triangle and place it in the middle. Place one medium triangle on one side, and two smaller triangles on the other side.

The Kite
The kite is one of the harder puzzles to figure out. You’ll have to use the two larger triangles to make the front. Use the square piece to form the kite’s tail.
For the bottom half, you’ll have to use the two smaller triangles, one medium triangle, and the parallelogram to fill it in.

The Heart
The heart has two large triangular pieces that you’ll have to place on one side. For the other, you’ll have to use the remaining pieces.
The problem in this puzzle is the parallelogram, because it can be difficult to pinpoint its correct position. You’ll have to place it, just right above the bottom tip.
