Halloween: The Game – Tips On How To Play As Heroes

Now, do note that the format in multiplayer is like 1v4, so if you are playing as the Heroes, you will have the numbers advantage. However, Michael is extremely dangerous, so simply having more players does not mean you are automatically safe. With that in mind, here are the tips you on how to play as the Heroes:
Stay With Your Team
One of the biggest mistakes you can make as a Hero is wandering off alone. You would not want to do that, as staying together with your team is going to be much more beneficial. It does make sense why you would want to split up and explore the map, but that is exactly what Michael wants.
He wants players who are isolated so he can take them down one by one. Now, I am not saying you have to be with your friends or teammates all of the time. You can wander off alone, but remain within a radius where you can reach them in a short time if Michael appears.
And whenever you spot Michael, make sure to let your teammates know where he is. This will make sure your teammates do not accidentally stumble upon him and get caught off guard.
Choose A Hero According To Your Playstyle
Now, this may seem like one of the most common tips, but in Halloween: The Game, it matters a lot. Not all characters are the same, and you need to pick the one that suits your playstyle. You should take some time to understand your character before starting the match.
The important thing to remember is that each Civilian character you can choose has their own characteristics. The Perk Card system also allows you to customize your character even further. This feature allows you to build your character around a particular playstyle.
Some players may prefer a more aggressive playstyle, while others may prefer to play the game more quietly while helping teammates and completing objectives. So, your character and Perk Card setup can help you a lot in figuring out which role suits you the best.
Michael Is Not A Normal Enemy
Normally, when an enemy appears, you would want to fight it and take it down. However, that is not the case in this game. You cannot just fight Michael head-on and expect to come out alive. The game is built around the Heroes using different tactics to create opportunities to escape and survive.
It does not focus on killing Michael, so your priority should be surviving. Now, sometimes, fighting him may be the smartest choice, but that will not be the case every time. When you have to run away, do so and then regroup with your teammates.
The Police Are There To Help You
The authorities can actually play a big part in this game and help you survive. You, as a Hero, can alert the authorities, and the police can arrive on the scene to put pressure on Michael. So, instead of focusing on you, he may start focusing on the police.
Now, you should not wait for Michael to corner you or for you to be in serious danger before calling the police. You need to do it much sooner, and once you have done that, the police will arrive to help you. The townspeople can also call the police when they get frightened by Michael, but you need to save them too.
So, it would be better if you call the police in a timely manner. This can actually be a huge help, as shifting the focus onto Michael can allow you to focus on many different things.
Don’t Forget The NPCs
The residents that you can kill as Michael in the story mode are also a part of the multiplayer mode. So, they are not just going to be background characters. They can react to danger and can even interact with the authorities. So, if they spot Michael, there is a huge chance they will call the police.
You can also interact with them. Now, as a beginner, you may easily miss this, but if you learn how to use
Halloween: The Game – Tips On How To Play As Michael Myers

Now, playing as Michael is going to be a completely different experience than playing as a Hero. You are now the hunter, but there are also going to be a lot of differences when it comes to the abilities. The following are the tips on how to play as Michael Myers in Halloween: The Game:
Be Stealthy And Patient
Michael Myers is the embodiment of stealth, as you literally cannot sprint. You have to use that intimidating walk to chase the Heroes. Michael is not designed for fast kills. He does not run after his victims. Instead, he is a creeping, methodical killer.
You may think that not being able to run is his biggest weakness, which is true to some extent. However, there are other abilities he has that absolutely make up for this weakness. Now, as a beginner, you may be tempted to chase every Hero you see.
However, that is not how you need to play. Be patient, use the darkness in your favor, and then strike when the Hero is not looking.
Do Not Chase A Single Hero Across The Map
One of the main tips you need to keep in mind regarding playing as Michael Myers is that you should never spend too much time on a single Hero. So, you should not chase a single Hero across the entire map. That would just waste your time, and it may also be their tactic to drive you away.
If the chase is taking you away from the important areas, then understand that it could be a tactic. So, you should stay close to the important areas and routes, as the other Heroes are more likely to be there.
You do not want to spend several minutes chasing one Hero while the other three are free to complete their objectives. If you realize that the chase is taking you too far away from the areas that matter, it can be much better to break it off and return to where you are needed.
Learn The Map
Now, Heroes have to complete objectives, help residents, and use the escape routes. So, map knowledge is going to be crucial for Michael. The Heroes have to explore the map in order to complete their jobs, so they are going to get into your line of sight one way or another, especially if you know how to take advantage of the darkness.
So, learn which areas are important and what the Heroes are trying to do. See where the Heroes go most of the time and learn those routes. Once you understand their movement, you can be there before they reach their destination and give them one hell of a surprise.
You should also pay attention to the routes that connect important areas. If you know that Heroes frequently use a particular road, building, or path to reach an objective, you can use that knowledge to predict where they are going next instead of constantly searching for them.
Use Michael’s Abilities To The Fullest
Now, Michael cannot sprint after the victims like normal killers do. That is a weakness, sure, but there are some abilities that you have at your disposal. As a beginner, you should understand what each ability does in story mode first. Then, return to the multiplayer mode with a better understanding.
Michael starts with two skills, and they are Killer Sense and Shape Jump. Killer Sense allows you to jump into the first-person mode and become more aware of nearby targets. On the other hand, Shape Jump allows you to completely change the flow of the game.
This ability lets you move across the map at tremendous speed, and you also have three dashes. The dashes have a cooldown and give you a tremendous speed boost. Also, when in the Shape Jump form, you can go through doors and windows as long as there is no light.
So, if a resident has locked their doors and there is no light, you can enter easily. Also, when in Shape Jump, no one except the dogs can sense you. You are literally invisible, so just stay away from the lights.
This is why you should not think of Michael’s lack of sprinting as his only weakness. If you know how to use Shape Jump correctly, you can close huge distances, approach Heroes without being noticed, and catch them off guard.
Unlock Michael’s Abilities As You Level Up
Michael starts with Killer Sense and Shape Jump, which means he can unlock more skills as he progresses. So, as you increase your Killer Level, you will be able to unlock more of his skills. You can unlock abilities like Reality Tear, Detection Pulse, and Blackout.
These abilities can ultimately help you throughout your journey, especially Detection Pulse, as it lets you detect if anyone is nearby. So, if Michael feels limited at first, you do not need to worry much about that. You can increase his loadout and turn him into a frightening monster for the Heroes.
As you continue playing, experiment with the abilities you unlock and figure out which ones work best with your playstyle. Some abilities can help you find Heroes, while others can give you more control over the environment. Learning how to combine these tools with your stealth and movement can make Michael much more dangerous.
Final Tip For Both Heroes And Michael Myers

One of the main tips I would give you is to play both sides in Halloween: The Game. You do not need to limit yourself to playing only as Michael or one of the Heroes. That will not give you the perspective of the other side. Let’s say you only play as Michael.
While that way you may be able to predict what the Heroes are going to do with enough time, they can always change their game plan. However, if you play as Heroes too, you will get more knowledge about their roles and objectives. This will help you understand them even better, and that will ultimately help you take them down more easily.
On the other hand, if you play only as Heroes, you will not be able to understand how Michael spots his prey. So, you need to play as Michael enough times to know what advantages he has over the Heroes. You need to know the correct time to call for the police and how to effectively stop him from lurking around your important routes.
Playing as both sides will also help you understand how the other team thinks. When you know what a Hero is likely to do when Michael appears, you can use that knowledge when playing Michael. Similarly, when you know how Michael searches for his victims, you will have a better idea of how to avoid him when playing as a Hero.
These types of things you will only be able to learn when you have spent enough time in the game.
That is pretty much it for our ultimate tips guide on how to play as Michael Myers or Heroes in Halloween: The Game. Hopefully, it manages to help you have a better experience on your journey.
