Dividing The Workforce
Happy’s Humble Burger Cult is a game that is best played in Co-op with your friends. The solo experience is quite balanced as well, but you can get a little overwhelmed by doing all of the tasks on your own.
If you’re playing online with other players, then make sure to divide the different tasks between your teammates to meet the quota efficiently. One player should stay at the counter taking orders while another should stick to the cooking grid and make burgers.
Another player should manage the drinks, while the last player on your team should complete any orders related to fried items or the sweet sides. Communication and division of the workforce are going to help you meet the quota very easily in each run.
Choosing Contracts
At the start of each simulation, you’ll be asked to choose a contract first. Go for the contract that either gives you an advantage in your run or does not hinder your progress greatly. Some contracts can really mess your runs by causing random events to take place within the simulation before the survival horror section. While others can increase your profits, you can end the run with more savings.
Understanding The Cooking
Now, this is something that you should be well aware of, especially if you’re playing solo, since you’ll have to manage all the different types of cooking processes.
As soon as you punch the order at the counter, make your way to the grill to start cooking the burgers. Thankfully, the game shows all the ingredients that you need to cook a specific type of burger as well. Simply cycle through the menu and place the ingredients in the order mentioned in the recipe.
You can find various types of patties inside the refrigerator, and you can cook them on the grill. Items that need to be deep-fried can be found in another refrigerator, and one of these refrigerators also contains the sweet items that you need to cook in the oven.
Lastly, you can find two types of cups for drinks. Red cups are used for the normal soda machine, while the transparent cups can be used at the slush machine. After completing the necessary items, place them in the food bag and give the bag to the customer to finish the order.
Tackling Different Orders
Almost every order is going to include a burger and a drink, with some orders demanding fried items or sweets on the side. In order to efficiently complete your orders, start by finding out the type of meat patty that you need for your burger.
Place the patty on the grill and let it cook. In the meantime, finish up the required drink and then pick up the cooked patty to complete the burger. Additionally, if you have to cook some sides, you can place them in the fryer or the oven while the patty cooks. Saving a little time on every order really matters in the long run.
Haste Makes Waste
You definitely need to be quick to meet the quota, but you also need to treat your equipment properly. Leaving the grill on can lead to a fire, and keeping the refrigerator door open can cause the floor to become wet.
Such mistakes are easily possible when you get overrun with big orders, so make sure to take extra care while using the equipment in your restaurant. Otherwise, your own items will start creating problems for you in your already busy schedule and can become the reason for you not meeting your quota.
Making An Escape
Once the simulation finishes at the end of each round, the game introduces a proper survival horror section. Asset Joy, the game’s main enemy, starts hunting you down, and you must stay out of its sight at all times.
The game also uses your microphone against you and alerts the enemy. Additionally, you must complete multiple tasks at the end of each simulation before you escape. These include restocking the kitchen, throwing the trash away, turning off the appliances, and setting the rat traps.
Additionally, you will also be tasked with extinguishing the fire in multiple locations, so make sure to hold on to a fire extinguisher in your inventory at all times when the survival horror section starts. In multiplayer, you can also divide these post-shift tasks to complete them more efficiently.
