Condor Overview

Condor in Highguard is a Recon class Warden who focuses on tracking enemies and providing intel for her team. Unlike, say, Atticus, she is not a damage-dealing character in the game. She uses a bird companion to gather information and strategize accordingly. Her kit is designed around tracking and revealing enemy positions, allowing your team to tackle enemies from surprising angles.
Pair her with aggressive teammates who can deal massive damage to enemies when you tell them the enemy positions. Use the right weapon while playing as Condor to defeat enemies effectively. Below are all the Condor abilities that you can use in Highguard.
- Eyes in the Sky (Tactical Ability): Condor sends out her bird to scan an area and detect moving enemies. This allows her to reveal enemies that are moving during its activation window.
- Hunter’s Instinct (Passive Ability): Condor’s bird automatically warns her when enemies are nearby, allowing you to quickly reposition. This is useful for spotting flankers and helps you decide when to rotate.
- Soaring Guardian (Ultimate Ability): Condor takes control of her bird and launches up to three smoke clouds. These can unveil enemies inside or near the smoke’s wake to your team.
Eyes in the Sky (Tactical Ability)

This ability allows Condor to send her bird forward on a flight path to scan an area. It can detect and reveal enemies that are moving within its range.
Use Eyes in the Sky to surprise enemies with new angles and dominate them in combat. Keep in mind that enemies get a brief warning before the scan activates. This grants them a chance to stand still and avoid detection.

Use Eyes in the Sky before your team pushes into a new area or an objective area. I recommend using this ability when enemies start rotating, pushing, or retreating. It may show nothing if you choose to scan early when enemies are holding still. Combine the scan with teammate pressure, forcing the enemies to move and show their positions.
Hunter’s Instinct (Passive Ability)

This passive ability of Condor’s helps her detect nearby enemies thanks to her bird companion. Hunter’s Instinct is a very useful ability to unveil enemies’ positioning, allowing you to reposition when needed.
Hunter’s Instinct does not show exact enemy locations but signals that at least one enemy is in range. The alert applies whether you’re attacking or defending, allowing you to dominate enemies with surprising angles.
Make sure to play around corridors, flank routes, and blind spots. You must slow down and check angles when Hunter’s Instinct triggers.
This passive ability is useful when rotating or holding defensive positions to prevent unnecessary engagements. This intel is more useful and effective when shared quickly between your allies.
Soaring Guardian (Ultimate Ability)

This ultimate ability in Highguard allows you to launch three smoke clouds forward from Condor’s position. Soaring Guardian can block sight and reveal enemies within the smoke’s wake. Enemies who are caught inside or moving through the smoke become temporarily visible, making it easier for your teammates to kill them.
Make sure to launch the smoke to cover pushes or while retreating during a match. This lets your teammates move safely through dangerous areas without getting shot. The ultimate deploys three separate clouds, so don’t throw them in the same exact line.
Be sure to communicate with your teammates where you’re deploying the smoke.
Best Weapons For Condor

Ranger, Vanguard, and Dynasty are the best weapons for Condor. These weapons allow you to dominate enemies and push quickly when used properly.
Ranger lets you pick enemies from a long distance because it has massive damage per shot. This makes it great for eliminating exposed targets.
Vanguard is also a great weapon to use while playing as Condor due to its good accuracy and magazine size. This makes it reliable for both mid‑range fights after scanning the enemies. Use this weapon to stay alive longer while providing constant fire to enemies.

Dynasty is an assault rifle suited for medium to long‑range engagements. This weapon has higher recoil but excellent damage potential. Condor excels at revealing enemy positions, so pick weapons that allow you to use the intel effectively. Use cover and high ground to deliver precise shots.
Best Team Comp

Kai and Mara are the Wardens that work best with Condor in Highguard. Kai can fortify positions and use his abilities to overwhelm enemies while Mara keeps the team alive through incoming damage in combat. This comp excels at holding objectives and defending by exposing enemies’ positions. Make sure to use Condor’s information early in rotation phases to allow Kai and Mara to set up defense.
Scan for enemy movement and deal damage to them from choke points and tight corridors. Atticus is also a great Warden to pair with Condor to deal massive damage and apply pressure after you tell him enemy positions. Use Eyes in the Sky just before fights to catch moving enemies.
How To Play Condor

Condor’s strength lies in scouting, vision control, and team intel. She doesn’t excel at dealing damage to enemies in combat. Place your scans where enemies are likely to move, but don’t waste them when enemies are nearby.
Use Hunter’s Instinct to adjust your defensive setup, allowing you to create a trap for foes. Let Kai deal damage to enemies while you scan enemy movement.
Don’t get greedy trying to secure kills because your utility is vision, not suppressing enemies. Use scans before pushes and Soaring Guardian to control vision, forcing enemies to get out of cover. The intel you gain is useless without communicating it to your teammates.
