You can obtain it from different methods, like defeating the fire-themed skeletons and magma creatures. It’s mainly used for crafting flame magic weapons, especially the Flame Crystal Staff. You can also use it to unlock certain crafting tiers or recipes when combined with other materials.
How To Get Essence of Fire
The best way to obtain the Essence of Fire is to find a cave and dig deeper until you find lava and fire‑themed enemies. Defeating the fire mobs like skeletons with fire attributes or magma creatures are the best sources of gaining this crafting item.
1. Defeat Fire-Based Enemies in the Cave
Essence of Fire is a mob drop, so don’t mine it; you collect it by killing certain enemies. The best place is underground lava zones, especially in Fire Caves in Zone 1 and deeper. These enemies are harder to eliminate, so use the Thorium Daggers or the sword to kill them.
Look for shielded skeletons, Ember Spirits, magma toads, or magma golems and defeat them in a fight to obtain Essence of Fire. Keep in mind that lava regions start appearing once you dig straight down from surface biomes like Emerald Meadows.
