Weapons in Misery are very important to get your hands on because it’s a survival game where you face Bandits, Mutants, Soldiers, and Anomalies in a post-nuclear disaster zone.

Weapons are essential for defense and are a core part of the survival loop. This involves scavenging, crafting, and fighting to survive. Weapons in Misery also have durability, and low-condition guns are likely to jam, which can be fatal.

Different weapons are better suited for different tasks, like using a shotgun for close-range combat and a rifle for long-range targets. Selecting the best weapon according to the current game situation is very crucial in every aspect.

Choosing the wrong weapon can lead you into trouble and sometimes make you vulnerable. You’ll need to manage ammunition, repair your weapons, and choose your inventory wisely.

PPSH	The old PPSH-41 submachine gun. Uses 7.62mm ammo.
TOZ	The TOZ hunting shotgun is quite powerful. Uses backshot ammo.
KIPARIS	The ‘KIPARIC’ is a compact submachine gun. Uses 9mm ammo.
Ak-74	The AK-74 assault rifle provides a high rate of fire and uses 5.45 mm ammo.
SVD	The SVD is a very powerful sniper rifle with a long effective range. Uses 7.62 ammo.
AS VAL	The AS VAL special assault rifle is a silent weapon. Uses 7.62 ammo.

All Ammo and Mags in Misery

Ammo is very limited in Misery, and you will need to be mindful of how you use it; it’s not cheap to purchase or craft ammo. You can’t use the same ammo type on all the weapons. Having the right ammunition for the right situation is key. You must carry different types of ammunition for different enemies.

Similarly, each weapon requires a different magazine, and it will be a hectic job to look for them in the zone. However, you can buy magazines from the Dealer in the Sirzez zone and each magazine has a different price.

How To Add Ammo to Weapons

Place the weapon in the equipment section of the backpack. Make sure you have the required ammo for this gun in your inventory. Press the LMB on the weapon and click on the attachments.

Doing so allows you to separate the magazine and place it in the backpack. Add the ammo in the magazine and put it back in the attachment section.

Now, you can use your weapon against the Bandits while exploring the world.

What is a Gun Cleaning Kit

A Gun Cleaning Kit in Misery is a special item that is used to craft weapons at the crafting bench and clean weapons from your inventory. Cleaning the weapon allows you to increase its durability. This can save your weapon from jamming often.

You need to craft the Gun Cleaning Kit at the crafting station using the required materials like 1x Deer skin, 1x Insulating Tape, and 1x Scrap.

Best Weapons In Misery

1. SAIGA-12
