Misery has just been released, and it is booming on Steam. The game’s beta received a very positive reception, and the same seems to be true for the full release. It is worth noting that a single developer made this game, which is quite an impressive achievement. Misery is a 1–5 player co-op survival game set in a similar setting to Stalker. If you want to learn more about the game, head over to its official Steam page.
This is the kind of game that is a must-play with friends. However, games like this are not easy at all. There is no map, and the game literally does not tell you where to go or what to do. You have to figure everything out on your own. At first, you will have very limited inventory space, but in this guide, I will tell you how to increase it in Misery.
How To Increase The Inventory Space In Misery

When you start the game, you will have very limited inventory space. However, there are ways to increase it. The main inventory you initially have will be just your pockets. You cannot increase the inventory size of your pockets, which means you will need to find different items to expand your space.
You can equip different items in the equipment menu, and two of these items increase your inventory. One is a backpack and the other is a jacket. Your normal inventory space is just 15, so if you find a jacket of any type, make sure to equip it. You do not have to pick it up first; simply equip it to gain additional space.

In my playthrough, I found a Bandit Jacket that gave me 20 kg more space. So, besides your pockets, more items can now be stored in the jacket. Additionally, you may find a backpack that can further increase your inventory by a lot. If you find a backpack or a jacket, make sure to equip them. Also, if you die, you will lose all of your equipment, but since it is a survival game, you can go back and pick up your items.
Disclaimer
Since the items in this game are completely randomized for everyone, you may find different ones than I did that provide more or less inventory space. For example, I found a Fur Coat that only provides an increased inventory space of 10 kg.
Are There Any Other Ways To Increase Inventory Space In Misrey?

Aside from getting a backpack and a jacket, you can find suitcases in the area where you can store items. You can also store some of your items in cupboards or wardrobes, but pinpointing where you stored them may be difficult. Also, it may not be ideal to store your important items in randomly found suitcases.
However, you can store your important items in the bunker, so make sure to do that. While you can increase your inventory space, there are many items scattered around. So, it is better to store the items in the bunker from time to time. That is pretty much everything you need to know about how to increase the inventory space in Misery.
