Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault – Senda The Prince Of The Zephyr Fields Fight Guide

Join us at Into Indie Games for another boss guide in Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault.

You’ve completed two of the three worlds, and now it’s time to continue your journey into Aeolia. The runs here are a little longer than usual, and the enemies are tougher, so you’ll need to stay on your toes as you make your way through the area.

At the end of the Zephyr Fields, you’ll come face-to-face with its Prince, Senda. You’ll need to take him down to complete the run and continue your journey through Aeolia.

Preparations

As usual, make sure you have your maximum health and potions fully upgraded, and check on the new upgrades Julius has. Anything that increases your defense or damage you should grab.

One more thing to look out for is getting a new gun, now that you have finished The Gallery completely. You will unlock a new NPC on the very east side of the map, where you can upgrade your gun or craft new ones.

Blo-Beam is arguably the best gun in the game, so consider fully upgrading it if you have enough gold and materials.

Phase 1

Senda will usually start the fight by going to the top of the arena and summoning a line of propellers that will create an airstream around him. You will not be able to approach him during this attack.

He will be throwing propeller projectiles your way, and you need to dodge them. Every now and then, he will throw a purple propeller. This one you can deflect to deal damage.

At the start, it will take only one deflect to cancel this attack, and as you progress through the fight, you will need to deflect more propellers.

If Senda goes to the center of the arena, he will run a barrage of projectiles that will cover a large area of the map.

You can slowly walk within the gaps. Since you can’t approach him here, you can use your gun to deal damage.

Another attack he will do is spinning with his melee weapon and moving around the arena. He will spawn rings on each side of the arena, and after a brief delay, they will shoot projectiles.

For this attack, it’s best to keep running around in circles to avoid it. When this attack is done, you will have an opening in which you can use your melee weapon.

The last attack during this phase is when he summons two rings on the arena that rotate around it while he continues shooting projectiles your way.

Since the rings are pretty slow, you can find openings after each projectile attack to hit Senda and then back off. That’s pretty much how the first phase will go until you deplete almost half of his health.

Phase 2

Senda will jump high and then destroy the center of the arena before floating to that spot. He will summon two propellers that stay on the outer circle of the arena, along with three rings that appear around him.

The three rings will expand outward until they reach the outer circle of the arena, then disappear.

While in this state, Senda can shoot projectiles at you. Since you can’t do any damage to him here, just focus on surviving without getting hit.

Once this attack finishes, the two propellers will cut the arena into a circle, and here you will continue the fight. Senda will still use the same attacks as the first phase.

The Reward

After successfully defeating Senda, you will get two chests containing high-quality relics, alongside a new crafting material called The King’s Left Mask.

And with that, we wrap up another guide for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. Thanks for checking it out!
