All Stats in My Winter Car

The character stats in My Winter Car represent basic human needs and physical condition. Ignoring any of them can lead to death or cause serious problems. Your character’s Hunger increases over time, and you will starve and die if it gets full.
These attributes are displayed in the status panel and must be maintained to avoid negative effects, including death.
- Problem: Represents dependency. Its effects are connected to the addiction and fatigue system.
- Hunger: Represents how hungry your character is. It increases over time and if it gets full, you starve and die.
- Stress: Represents Mental stress and frustration. Increases the Problem bar faster and builds up during work, driving, and survival.
- Urine: Represents bladder fullness and fills over time. Use the toilet in the house or urinate outside.
- Fatigue: Increases when awake for too long and can cause blackouts.
- Cash: Purchase all kinds of goods and services with markka.
- Body Temp: It represents how warm or cold you are, so make sure to wear warm clothes.
- Sweat: Caused by wearing too much clothing in warm conditions. High sweat levels contribute to a faster drop in body temperature in the cold.
Problem

The Problem bar in My Winter Car replaces the old thirst system. You can easily manage it by drinking some specific items. It represents alcohol and stimulant dependency rather than simple hydration. Beer can lower the Problem bar, and alcohol can significantly mitigate it.
Drinking water doesn’t have any effect on this bar. Once this bar is full, your character may die instantly. Drinking the water only feels ineffective.

To maintain this bar, you need to pick up the drinking item and drink it normally. You don’t need to press any button or go to your menu to drink water, alcohol, or beer. You can acquire the drinks from different places on the map. Beer and alcohol can be purchased from the Teimo.
If the Problem bar is at a high level, your character has high dependency and stress.
Drinking too much has side effects as well. Drinking too much can affect your driving and even end checkpoint saves. You should use it only when required.
Hunger

The player must eat food to avoid starving. Purchase food items from PSK or Pub Nappo. Moose Meat is the best food item to purchase and consume in order to reduce hunger in your character. Drinking alcohol and beer can also slightly reduce hunger.
Moose Meat is obtained by harvesting it from a moose. Like all food, it can be eaten by pressing ‘F’. Chop up wild moose that can be found running across the dirt and asphalt roads around Peräjärvi.
Stress

This bar increases over time due to negative events. Lower it by performing enjoyable activities, drinking coffee, or driving over 120 km/h. Chopping firewood, winning the rally, passing the car inspection, swearing, using a sauna, eating grilled meats, or being on the island allows you to reduce Stress in My Winter Car.
Getting a traffic ticket, failing the car inspection, losing a hand of Ventti, or having a hangover can increase the Stress bar. Your character will die once the bar fills up. The player character will start swearing when the stress bar turns red.
Urine

After drinking, the player must urinate by pressing the ‘P’ key to empty their bladder. You will die from a burst bladder if you don’t. Drinking will cause the urine bar to increase quickly. Drinking your own urine mitigates the problem slowly.
Fatigue

Your character needs to sleep in a bed or other designated resting spots to decrease fatigue and avoid passing out. You can sleep on the bench in the ventti house, on the sofa, on the cottage sofa, or in the back of the Gifu. Driving over 120 km/h can also reduce Fatigue.
Your character can become addicted if you drink too much coffee. You will start experiencing blackouts if the Fatigue bar fills up. If this happens, make sure to move the mouse back and forth to regain consciousness.
Body Temperature

You must wear appropriate clothing (indoor, outdoor, heavy winter) for the weather and seek heat sources to prevent hypothermia. Too much clothing in a warm area will cause sweating. This can, in turn, cause the temperature to drop faster.
You can prevent it by going near sources of heat. Enter heated buildings, be inside warm cars, or be near fires to reduce body temperature. Body Temperature is enhanced by a heat source, such as taking a hot shower. You can’t sleep if your body temperature is too low.
Sweat
This is caused by wearing too much clothing in warm conditions. High sweat levels contribute to a faster drop in body temperature in the cold. Wearing heavy outdoor clothing in a heated building will cause body temperature to drop faster.
