My Winter Car Guide – How To Clear Frozen Windows

clear Frozen Windows My Winter Car

Discover everything you need to know about how to clear frozen windows in My Winter Car, including purchasing the ice scraper.

Window defrosting and ice scraping mechanics for Sorbett are available by using the heater unit and wiper motors. There’s a rear window heater along with a heater unit for the temperatures and the snow. As the cabin warms up, the ice will slowly melt off the windows. Always warm the engine before driving, and note that the heater will not work if the engine is cold.

How To Clear Frozen Windows

Frozen windows are a real visibility problem in My Winter Car and can easily cause crashes if ignored.

Let the engine warm up and turn on the heater inside the car. Enhance the air flow by turning on the blower. Make sure to turn on the windshield wipers to clear the frost from the windows.

You need to scrape the windows fully and then turn the window heater on. Scraping the window causes very bad noise, and using the wipers without the heat feels like nothing. The wiper cannot completely clear the frost from the window, as heat is also required.

Make sure to heat the ice, helping the wiper to clear the rest easily. The scraping noise during defrost is just a game sound when the ice is melting.

You can clear the ice from the window while driving, but the process is very slow. Let the heater run faster fully and turn the window heater on.

Use an Ice Scraper

An Ice Scraper was available by default in my case, and you can use it by moving left and right and spamming Left Click to clear the windows. You can search for the ice scraper in the shop available on the highway at the entrance to the city, near a gas station.
