Discover everything you need to know about using the heater in Sorbett in My Winter Car, including some useful tips.
The heater in My Winter Car is a car interior component that keeps the cabin warm and helps you survive Finland’s freezing winters. Without the heater, you can freeze to death while driving in cold weather.
It only works once the engine is running and warmed up. If any of the control is set wrong, the heater won’t function. The bottom lever controls the temperature, and the top lever controls the direction of the air.

How To Turn On the Heater

Controlling everything correctly allows the heater to work in Sorbett. The requirement for turning on the heater is correcting the lever positions, turning on the blower, and engine heat. If only one control is set incorrectly, freezing may occur in the car. The heater in this car comes with two levers and buttons. Use the top lever to control the air direction.

Blow the air on the window and cabin by moving the top lever to the right side. Use the bottom level to control the temperature. Move this level to the left side to enhance the heat. You can find the blower button just under the window heater. Choose to turn it on to low or high based on your preference.
There’s a separate button for the rear window heater. Pressing this button allows you to heat the rear window only. Keep in mind that the heater will do nothing when the blower is off, so make sure to turn it on.
How to Check if the Heater is Working

There can be several reasons that the heater is not working properly. Make sure to warm up the engine first, as a cold engine doesn’t generate any heat. Check if all the doors of the vehicle are closed and the blower is on. Take the top level in the right direction. I highly recommend you warm the engine first before turning on any heater lever.
Keep in mind that the heater doesn’t work quickly, as the engine heat is necessary. Putting the lever in the wrong direction pauses the cabin heat. Your character will not get any warmth from the rear window heater.
