Find a phone inside your apartment, usually on a chair in the hallway near the front door. If the phone rings, just interact with it to answer. This connects you to whoever’s calling and often gives you objectives or updates. If you hear a beeping sound, that usually means you’re not using the numpad or the input wasn’t valid.
If you’re on a laptop without a numpad, consider using a virtual numpad or remapping keys so the phone can read your input.

The phone is used for key game actions like calling for jobs, contacting sellers, and triggering events or objectives. Pick up the phone, dial with your numpad, and listen to the dialogue until the other person hangs up to make sure the game recognizes the call.
How To Get a Phone
The phones are available indoors in My Winter Car. The first phone you find is on a chair in the apartment hallway. Make your way to the parents’ house kitchen, and locate the phone in the household spot. The third phone is located in the gas station near the bulletin board area. Pick up the phone when it rings to attend the call or dial the number to call other NPCs.
How To Use the Phone
Approach the phone and interact with it to make the call. Make sure to find the numbers located in different areas, like MKS. The job recruitment board at the Gas Station provides the number of a call seller and a taxi driver. Note down the number once you find it. Use the numpad keys to enter the correct number on the phone.
Don’t need to add any dashes in the number to dial correctly. Make sure not to use the numbers on the top row. The phone will start calling automatically if you enter the correct number. Wait for a while till the NPC picks up the call. Don’t hang up the call till the NPC finishes talking.
Disconnecting the call in the middle of a conversation may not register your call. The phone will not work if you don’t dial the number via the numpad. A beep sound can be heard if the phone starts beeping. Put the phone down and interact with it again to dial the number. The Phone in My Winter Car is required for doing almost anything, like finding the Corris Rivett.
Why is it Essential To Use a Phone
The main purpose of the phone in My Winter Car is to call the other NPCs and take their services. Call the local taxi rank to become a taxi driver after acquiring the Corris Rivett. This job is essential to earn money in this cold environment game. Some maps only appear after the call completely ends.
You can find the ads in the local newspaper, making it useful to gain specific parts of the vehicle or the entire car. Some NPCs are only available at certain times during the day. Fleetari’s Repair Shop will not answer the call at night, as it closes at 4 PM. So, calls are used for ordering car parts, contacting NPCs, and advert deliveries.
