Table of contents
All Oboro Relics
There are five Oboro Relics in the Lantern Festival stage. You can collect them all on your first run through the zone since they don’t require any additional Ningi abilities.
Oboro Relic #1

After the boat section, before heading into the Village, jump onto the roof. The first Oboro Relic is inside a chest hidden behind a tree.
Oboro Relic #2

From the Tower Shrine, head up to the platform where the axe-throwing enemy was standing.
Run up the wall on the right to reach a hidden platform and loot the chest for the second Oboro Relic.
Oboro Relic #3

Found shortly after the last Oboro Relic. Go up and continue heading left.
Jump through several dash points and across some blue balloon platforms until you’re ambushed by a group of enemies.
Defeat them and a chest will spawn, containing the third Oboro Relic for this zone.
Oboro Relic #4

As you continue progressing from the tower region, you’ll eventually reach a zipline. Before going down, jump to the platform above and head left.
The Oboro Relic is inside a chest on the platform ahead.
Oboro Relic #5

From the Fireworks Shrine, reach the next rooftop and slide down the right edge to a lower platform.
The chest containing the final Oboro Relic is on another platform below, guarded by a shield brute.
All Secret Chests
There are two Secret Chests in the Lantern Festival stage.
Secret Chest #1

From the Rooftops, head right across the floating balloons. Slide down the right-side edge of the building, but don’t use the air dash.

Go left from the roof and you’ll spot the first Secret Chest on a platform ahead. Open it to obtain the Fire Raider Outfit.
Secret Chest #2

The second Secret Chest requires accessing a hidden zone called the Secret Cave. You’ll need the Sword Dive to unlock the zone and the Ninja Claws to reach the chest itself.
Break the Yokai Barrier beside the Island Shrine using Sword Dive to access the Secret Cave. Inside, complete a series of parkour challenges to reach the chest. It rewards you with a Max Health Boost upgrade.
All Elite Squads
There are three Elite Squad encounters in Lantern Festival. Completing them all rewards you with the Super Shocker Amulet.
Elite Squad #1

From the Rooftops Shrine, drop down to the lower floating balloon platform. The Elite Squad encounter symbol is on the left side.
Elite Squad #2

Continue heading through the Rooftops area. After grabbing the Fire Raider Outfit, go to the right side of the building. Slide down and use Ninja Claws to traverse the next section.
You’ll find the Elite Squad encounter symbol at the top.
Elite Squad #3

The third Elite Squad encounter is located in the Secret Cave region, accessed by Sword Diving through a Yokai Barrier.
Complete the parkour segments inside to reach the encounter symbol.
Ankou Rift

The Ankou Rift for this stage is hidden in a purple section of the map after the Buildings Shrine. You’ll reach a room where you must ride a pink balloon platform downward.

Instead of going down, head right and wall run up to reveal some grapple points. Use the Ninja Hook to climb up and you’ll find the Grim Reaper waiting beside the Ankou Rift.
